this lullaby seems to be good, i have been thinking about reading it, i've gotten more interested in the truth about forever, i guess i hit a spot that didn't interest me, but it takes me forever to read a book. ha.

I loved Slaughterhouse 5. Vonnegut has kind of a surreal style, so if you're into that kind of thing, read that first. Vonnegut was a child in Europe during WWII, so he's drawing on that sence of detachment he felt stemming from that experience.
1984 is a little more straightforward, easier read. I thought it was kind of boring to get into, but i stuck with it and it got really good. Some of the stuff in seems earily true, like its started happenning in thwe last decade or so.
I'm reading Bob Dylan's CHRONICLES part I. Its really good. His writing style is kind of loose and picturesque, like his song lyrics.

I'm reading "The Hole in Our Gospel" by Richard Stearns. I just started it, but I can already tell it's going to be amazing.

I'm reading The Alchemist, Irrisitable Revolution and just picked up a book called, Joshua, by Joseph F. Girzone.
My friend James, who doesn't watch American Idol, has listened to me go on and on about Jason, his music, his faith, his family, his fans etc. etc. I suggested he see the I Am Second piece that Jason had done to round out all of the interviews, and muscis I have shared with him. So very funny the other day on facebook, I posted a link for everyone to go to to vote for Jason for Mr. Twitter USA. A few comments underneath, James wrote, "Who is Jason Castro?" I was shocked and then, realised he was just teasing me. Then, in a very thoughtful comment, James suggested that Jason is the new Joshua. He invited me to read the book and of course, I must see what he sees as the similarity between the character Joshua and our very own Jason Castro!
It will be awhile before I finish Joshua, so if anyone has read it...please let me know what you think.
