I'm reading Same kind of Different as Me. I think the book club here is discussing it first part of February. So far I am enjoying it. It is set in Texas and the South and it brings back memories of stories from my dad, who grew up in Texas. I would recommend it.

I just finished "Following God with your whole heart". I am ready for a new one. Does anyone have the list of Jason's recommended books from the Garland Barnes and Noble meet and greet?

Right now I'm reading The Historian
My boss gave me Oryx and Crake, by Margaret Atwood, for Chanukah. I'd already read it, but I'm a huge Atwood fan so I read it again. Pretty much everything by her I've enjoyed, but most people I know dislike her stuff (and some just outright hate it).
Has anyone read The Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie? That's another great book.

I'm reading Get Off Your Knees and Pray by Sheila Walsh. I talked about it in the Inspirational books thread. Amazing!

Finished The Host last week - Team Ian!! #cryingsmilie# Working on Dewey - it's about a kitten abandoned at a library in the dead of winter. Also started Dead Until Dark - a Twilight for adults thing. So I'm told. So far, not so good.
