I wasn't loving Casey's song choice last week either. But, I definitely love Casey. He is my favorite contestant this season.
I'm not generally thrilled with the girls this season. But, I like Didi too. There's something really original about her and she picked a great song last night. I also like Siobhan and Crystal.
Tonight is boys night. Casey James F.T.W.!!!

AI 9 had a slow start but I think it's really picking up.
Ya just never know on this show....ya think you can spot the biggies and then it all changes!
Loved Alex and Casey last night. Overall I thought they all did a great job with the exception of Andrew who I originally thought would shine.
What was with the no shout out to Jason for singing Hallalujah better than anyone. Big shoes to fill I'll say but why not say Jason Castro did that song 2 years ago and did an amazing job! They are always throwing names around like that why not him?
My choice to go home tonight is Toddrick and Andrew.

EEW the judges are getting way too touchy again... Is this what america wants to see? Can't believe that Jason got no mention I actually thought that Tim did an OK job, his best performance BUT not close to what Jason did two years ago. Interestingly Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah is back on the itunes overall charts at #34! If only the CD were out!!! Have not been moved to vote yet BUT everyone was better this week... love Didi and Crystal.

My choice to go home tonight is Toddrick and Andrew. I was actually pleasantly surprised by Tim last night. I'm beginning to think I may have misjudged him because I hated his first performance, but his last 2 have been good. I think he has more talent than I originally gave him credit for. Casey was awesome. It wasn't quite as good as Heaven, but I definitely think the judges underrated his performance and I did not appreciate Simon's "Boring people sitting at a stool playing the guitar" comment. I also thought that Michael Lynche was impressive. But, I wasn't over the moon. I really didn't get why all the judges had their tongues hanging out for him. Alex is definitely the most improved of the male contestants. I like him a lot. He may just be a dark horse to watch out for this season...if he gets over the nerves! I agree that Toddrick and Andrew will probably be leaving tonight. It's a shame. I like Andrew a lot and why he said he was doing "Genie In A Bottle", I was very intrigued. But, it just didn't come together. I think the judges are unfortunately right about him. He peeked during Hollywood week.

I still can't get enthused about anyone this season. Lee and Crystal are my favs at this time. I know I'm in the minority but, I cannot stand Didi's voice. It's not at all pleasant to my ears. Sorry that Lilly left. She was a true original.

I do like Didi, actually...but I don't think she's as good as Crystal or Siobhan. Lee and Casey are probably my favorite of the guys.

Didi's voice reminded me of Megan Joy's from last season, although Didi's personality wasn't annoying. She seemed like a really sweet girl. At least she made the top 10 and will get to go on the tour.

I like Katy, Tim, and DiDi...but out of the three I felt Katy was the one who most deserved to go home. I didn't want DiDi or Tim to leave (I think of Tim as the Jason Castro of season 9...generally very underrated and can't catch a break from the judges.) But, when Katy was safe, I thought "Okay, now I'm going to be depressed either way." I'm thinking maybe the judges should have saved her. I see a lot of potential in DiDi. But, since they didn't, I really hope they use it on someone better because I think they totally wasted the save last year. ::crosses fingers::

The save's used now and I hope the judges don't regret it. I like Big Mike's voice but, his performances aren't anything I look forward to.

Big Mike isn't one of my favorites, but I think they've made the right decision in saving him. He is very talented and while I don't see him actually winning, it definitely was not his time to go.

I think the final 2 will be Crystal and Lee. Sioban is falling fast and, although Tim and the other kid (Aaron?) are adorable, I don't see them in the final 2.

Deb I agree it's a no brainer the Final 2 will be Crystal and Lee. They should just fast forward to the finale and save us lot of judge time repeating the same dribble.
I actually liked Tim ...I know that is not the popular vote but then again I usually don't go for the popular vote. I really liked most of Tim's song choices and he is a happy soul. I'll miss him. But I'm sure he will do well in the long run ...he is very cute indeed.

I know what you mean about Tim. He is a happy soul and it was enjoyable just to watch him, even though his voice may not have been as good as some others.
I think what did Sioban in was the screaming. We knew she could do that. There was no reason IMO to keep it up in every song.
I still say Crystal and Lee for the final two.

I loved Tim and am sorry to see him go. I think most of his performances were very underrated, (kind of like a certain dreadheaded season 7 contestant I know) and as much as I like Aaron, I believe Aaron should have gone before he did. I understand why Siobhan was let go, but I also think there was an unfair double standard going on with her "screaming" Yes, it became a bit predictable and annoying after a while. But, last year Adam Lambert pretty much did the exact same thing and the judges were bowing down at his feet. I also think it will be Lee and Crystal facing off in the finals. I am still a big fan of Casey James and really want him to be in the final 3 at least, but I think he may be in trouble tomorrow night.
