The performance version that was on iTunes wasn't the actual performance... I think it was from rehearsal.. because it didn't have the cute little note at the end  |

I really wish Itunes would put up the full versions of Hallelujah & Daydream! Favorite Jason songs<3 Yes, I've been hoping for Daydream as well, but I suppose we can't expect Jason to do a CD full of covers. =( I would sacrifice both, however, for a studio version of Crazy if he could get the appropriate permissions to record it. I'd love Crazy & Daydream too. Perhaps to avoid too many familiar covers on the one CD/album scenareo, maybe they could be done as extra bonus tracks, or even made available as separate single downloads.

I think it was from rehearsal.. because it didn't have the cute little note at the end lol. i think the rest was the real performance but they just fixed the bum note at the end. and yeah i'd love to hear studio versions of crazy and daydream too! he should release another edition of the album with the covers as bonus tracks or something. |

I can see it now: the soundtrack for this movie will shoot to #1, meanwhile the movie studio executives will be scratching their heads, wondering how come the soundtrack is so popular when no one's watching the movie!
I would elbow my grandma in the face to get a copy of him singing this song. [not really, but you see my point]

Yeah, I heard that for itunes just the last note was fixed also, and I loved his last little crackly note. OMG I'm so hoping it's the full version he recorded for the movie. Can you imagine how gorgeous? He did it in English right? Daydreamer21, I love your quote in your signature!

Full length Hallelujah would be huge in the launch of Jasons solo career! Those of us who are already fans would snap it up, but new fans would be blown away.....

I love Leonard Cohen's you tube version. Can't say how many times I have watched it. Also...what is this about a movie....totally out of the loop here? Also...what is this about a movie....totally out of the loop here? There is a Mexican movie "Tierra de Tigres" that it is in its final stages of production. Jason recorded a version of Hallelujah for the soundtrack of this movie. |

Unfortunately the recording Jason did for the movie is THEIR property, so he cannot use that as a release. However, if they release a soundtrack I'm sure it will be on there.
He will have to record another session if he wants to include it on his own release. I just hope he does that as it is my most favorite song ever.
