Hi Everyone... Hope you are well,
Janlizette - I remember you from the AI boards #thsmiley_peace#
Haidee - I'm sure you won't regret your decision to go to the concert. Are you going to Glorias as well? Hope you have an amazing time (I know its a while off yet, but it will be here before you know it)
Moonlight - I will be listening to the live feed as well (Thank you Kali and Betsy for allowing this). Just hope I don't fall asleep and miss it. I'm going to have start saving up some pennies for Jasons solo tour.
Good Luck saintkaye with your contest. I think that the Michael Jackson song is a good choice. Keep us posted on how you get on and enjoy yourself.
#smiley-yawn# I'm sleepy so i will wish you all goodnight and sweet dreams.

Hi Saintkaye, oh I missed it, I forgot! - I think I was on here ~ I'm glad you enjoyed it - who was on/who did you like best? Shygirl, do you like any of them at all? - I most often tend to have a preference for male voices, I think Austin is good, but his vocal tones aren't really on my connection line - I enjoyed his hollywood audition though. I think all the girls are good this time though, my favourite at the moment is Laura ~ will have to see if that stays the same - it's early days, though before this stage with A.I., Jason was and stayed my favourite throughout I found Mali interesting in the auditions, would have like to have seen more of him really.

Hey everyone,
I didn't see you saintkaye sorry #imsorrysign# , how cool would that have been if i would have been able to pick you out of the crowd?! Glad you had a good time though. It's a shame Chris Brown wasn't there for his award though.
Did you see the show last night moonlight? I don't have a favourite but I think JLS are quite good and did really well with their song and I think Laura is very good - and she is representing the north of England #whoop# I'm not really sure about Austin, but as soon as he started singing last night i was like " David Cook - David Cook!!" haha.
I would have thought Simon would have chosen Mali to be in his top three as he was different.
I agree with you though by this stage in the competition, with American Idol, I definately knew Jason was my favourite and was special.

I've seen it today, you can pretty much guarantee I'll watch or catch up with it - it's just a habit ... still if it wasn't, I wouldn't know about Jason Yeah, I know! - the Chris Cornell version of Billy Jean!!! ;D ... Austin sounds like more of a soul singer than a rocker to me though, certainly a higher/softer vocal than Cook's, so even though it was the same version, it seemed different ~ I think he did a really good job with it though, I liked both Cook's & Austin's Billy Jeans ;D Did you see the clip of Diana singing Hallelujah during the audition rounds? ~ I wouldn't mind betting it shows up again during the show too. I like Man in the Mirror as a song and think the camera work on her set worked really well. I really like her image/quirkiness, but just listening to her without the visuals doesn't do it for me - but she's really popular and a front runner for sure. I think whether she wins or not she'll do well, being so contemporary. JSL were/are good yes - it was an entertaining performance as well ~ I think they'll stick around a bit yet, but I don't see them winning it myself. I do think the overall standard is good this year though, but it's all of the girls in particular that have impressed me at some time or another. I was sorry Ruth was in the bottom 2, but at the same time, I'm glad she was as it gave her the opportunity to do that passionate Purple Rain performance - wow! - I think that's made a few people factor her into the equation, if they hadn't already. ~ As I said before, it's strangely all about the girls for me this year and Laura is still the one that gives me goose bumps. ~ there's a few Northerners in the mix, Laura, Diana & Scott ~ Song choices are really important too ~ so anything can happen, re: who'll go next, not another band though surely! ;D I wondered if Simon thought Mali was too much of a risk due to the inconsistency they mentioned? I got a feeling that he thought about what happened with Ashley Mackenzie and decided not to take the same chance with Mali ... maybe we'll see him again sometime then though, 'cos I do think Simon saw his potential.

Hiya - Hope everyone remembered to put their clocks back.
Yes saintkaye we are talking about the x factor, I think JLS are quite good as well.
Moonlight - did you see it last night? I think all the girls did really well, I thought Daniel would be in the bottom two but wasn't sure who else would be. Maybe the press coverage over the past couple of weeks is starting to influence voting?. I think that the talent this year is a lot better than last year and it will be difficult to predict who will be in the final 3. Yeah I noticed that both Scott and Diana sang Hallelujah at boot camp and I think you are right it will probably pop up again during the show. I wasn't really a Ruth fan to begin with but I think she did a really good job with purple rain last week and she stepped up her game last night.
I forgot about Ashley (he was in Leonas year wasn't he?) anyway, yeah Mali probably reminded Simon of him too much and he didn't want to risk it.
Have everyone seen the new Jason pics on his myspace page? Hopefully with all the new changes it means that we will get to hear some new music soon and will start with street team duties.
Can you believe it is the end of October next week- this year seems to be flying by. Any plans for Halloween or bonfire night?

Yeah I noticed that both Scott and Diana sang Hallelujah at boot camp and I think you are right it will probably pop up again during the show. I never dreamt in a million years he'd use it as the 'winner's song' though (seems like it is to be according to news reports), should have guessed since he's stuck it on IL Divo's album ~ oh Jason, you've got a lot to answer for ;D ~ it's gone from the sublime to the ridiculous now ~ over-egging the cake as usual then Oh, nevermind... maybe Jason's version will be out by then and I can download that one instead ;D Clocks back, halloween and all that have all past me by, can't believe how time flies...

Hi Everyone I am fine saintkaye. Thank you for for asking though, just been a little busy with work and getting everything sorted for Christmas. I have been reading the boards when I've had a few minutes, but haven't posted anything. Congratulations on doing soo well in the competition! That's great news!!! What does the winner get? Is this a local competition? Will it be shown on TV? Well Done again! ;D #thcongratulations# Moonlight - you predicted right, i also read that the winning single would be Hallelujah. I wonder how the three remaining acts would sound singing it as Diana and Austin have both been voted out. I think JLS and Alexandra would do a good job of it, but it will never be as good as Jasons version. I wonder whether Haidee has set off for Garland yet? I bet she will be super excited to hear the new music live. I wish I could go!!
