I moved to the states when I was 13 and only go ome to visit family. I've been in Georgia for 13years so yeah southern accent now...except my family tells me they know when I'm mad cuz it comes out strong then haha...I remember starting high school in California coming home in tears and saying rrrrrrrrrr thththththththht it still came out ah and f but afetr enough years I lost it...i hate that now but what's done is done haha...and as for missing foods...sweeties for the most part I can get cept for crunchies and pastilles. But I have a heck of a time finding bisto haha random I know. Savannah has some great pubs for bangers n stuff. Don't know need to go home soon my older brother Stephan is working the next Olympics and has convinced me to go home for that..maybe before haha..AND YES Twickenham is full of Rugby boys..my brother used to be one of em till he got old haha now he still hangs out with em and his pint haha

You've got me sat here at the pc going ahh ahh ah yes! I do! lol! - I don't do f for th though - must have been an accent/dialect thing Apart from family, bisto, crunchies & pastiles, I don't think you're missing much ... especially weather-wise, this month has been miserable here, it's like living in a grey bubble though I live near the Pennines, so this area/Manchester is famous for cloud and rain - The Beautiful South even wrote a song about it ;D www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oFtigqTGQcNot a great advert for Manchester that vid lol! - but I keep thinking Jason will like it here with all this rain, so you'll have to bring him with you when you come!

I,m not British but did live in Highcliffe for 2 years and went to Brockenhurst 6th Form College in the New Forest more years ago than I like to remember. My first boyfriend was British and went on to Med school at Kings College. I have great memories of England. Have only been able to return once, just before we decided to have kids, and would love to go back one day. By the time I left even the British thought I was British. I picked up the accent rather quickly since I was completely immersed in the British culture and loved the British sense of style. I still cross my 7s and zs.

Hiya Everyone!
Really Kali - Bisto?! You should have said and I would have brought some over for you.
Moonlight - I think Jason would love our "sunny" Manchester weather - haha. He should definately come over to the UK.
It's nice to know there are some other British fans and I think it is really nice how people have come in to say hello and how much they like the UK. Everyone is so nice and lovely!

Hi borrowedheaven, nice to meet you! ;D moonlight - that small concert would be great, no restricted views and the photos would be amazing. There would be four of us now with borrowedheaven Haidee - No i haven't written my story in the thread yet. I got a picture with him, but as I'm quite camera shy i haven't posted that either. He looks good on it, but not too keen on the one of me.... I'm not complaining though, I know how lucky I am to have a picture.
