It should not be first come, first served to all who are members, but who was there in the very beginning!! I don't know the logistics of pre-sale tickets, etc., as applies to this fan club, but always giving seniority benefits to the same group of people wouldn't be fair or good business. Ok, I'm in a union and most of the time everything goes by seniority. The senior people get the best of everything including vacation and holidays... less senior never get the advantage. So yes, you're right it should be fair across the board. All for one, and one for all. |

So it looks like the fanclub members all got the e-mail to know when the tickets went on presale and the code. So whoever wanted them called in with the password. So essentially like any presale of tickets. I heard they crashed the site though.

I got confirmation that my packet got shipped. Can't wait to get it!! Even got an email from Betsy just checking since the sight had been down. Love being part of the Castro family.

yeah, betsy is so nice! i never got an e-mail to get the discount on the shirt after i signed up for the fanclub, so i e-mailed her about it and she told me what to do. but i tried it and it didn't work so i just paid full price and then she credited $10 back to my paypal account and she was really sweet about the whole thing.  |

I signed up for the fan club some time ago and everyone keeps talking about a fan club packet that they've gotten for signing up. I haven't received anything and was just wondering how long it actually takes to get it. Can someone please let me know?

Kittileen. If you have your order number and customer number you can contact Kbelisle01. She was acting as go between for problems with the fan club. Or you can just go to the Merchandise and contact Jason Castro Music. They will get it streightened out for you.

Kittileen -- be sure to include as much detail as you can when you use the contact info on the link. E-mail address used to sign up, any confirmation numbers or order numbers you have, etc., just to make it easier for them to locate your transaction. Everyone who's had an issue with their merchandise has always been really pleased with how quickly they get it resolved after contacting them and I'd guess you'll have your stuff really soon.

For those that read through the thread I thought we may want to mention there have been a variety of sign-ups to support Jason. If you signed up for the official fan club on this site (if you go to the front page you'll see the 'store' listed) there was a charge for the kit people are mentioning. When this site was being developed there was an email sign up for news about Jason; and of course there have been a variety of lists such as dreadheads, JMS etc etc etc! (so many numbers #thnerves# )

JMS, Dreadhead numbers, etc. are something that are handled by individual fan groups. The only official sign ups here are:
Fan club and/or Mailing List (from the front page)
Street Team (from the Street Team board here on the forum)

I was wondering about the VIP stuff too... I got my "package" in just a few days after ordering and the coupon for the shirt was instant and it arrived with the other things in the package. However, I did NOT get an mail about pre-sale tickets for his Oklahoma show...  ? |

iheartJason -- Jason was booked to do the Tulsa show last Friday; the venue owner started ticket sales to the public the very next day. There's no way to do a pre-sale under those circumstances. This is a general admission concert anyway; the benefit of pre-sales is to get a good seat but your position in the concert hall is going to depend on when you arrive for the concert the day of the show, not your seat assignment. Does that make sense?
I'll see what I can find out about the VIP Lounge and get back to you guys, okay?

A pre-sale notice was sent out to fan club members for the Garland concert. There wasn't time between Jason being booked to the Tulsa show and the venue owner opening sales to the public to do a pre-sale for that show.
If you can PM me the e-mail address with which you signed up, I can look up your number for you.
