Trudy, you always bring such interesting food. Thank you!
Have you seen Handy recently? He sounds very nice.
And where has everyone gone? Should I get the search dogs Trudy?

Okay Rhapsody, I'll call the search off for you but, the others WILL be found. The dogs are in their intimidation traing now. I have hopes for the one on the left. The other may be a lost cause.

Good morning all! My super long training is over today and i'll start the job tomorrow.training was tough but now i miss it.the four of us in the training class are like sisters and brothers.and we get along well with our main trainer.it's kinda safe to stay in the room to have course.but now we have to face everything by ourselves and take responsibility.im so nervous.i think im not ready yet.everything i've learned is rolling like crazy in my brain. Hope all will be good day after day. Deb.i have met Handy the other day.but he was not looking at me when we were rushing to different place.idk if he's too shy to greet cuz some fellow boys and girl were with me.i'd rather i won't meet him the next days.that distracts me. Caro.yes.Handy is cute!haha.seems like a nice person.he's so funny. And yes i have to focus on the job now.i've missed you.where have you been? Deb.let's send the left dog to search for kim and RQ and RR.hope he can handle it.

Helloooooooooooooooo
I survived the trip to NY, the weather was very cooperative while there. I waved to you Jersey Gals! A very busy 3 days but lots of fun. I hope to go back again someday.
I came down with the flu as soon as I got back home, thankfully not while there. Finally feeling better tonight, so much for taking the flu shot.
Trudy, thanks for telling us about your job, it does sound like a lot to remember but it also sounds like you are ready. I'm sure it will get easier everyday. Handy seems to have brightened your days, that is a good thing. Keep your eyes on him and make sure he is a GOOD guy before you fall too far. Remember how special you are!

Good morning my love! I was doing the same thing like yesterday.not really answer calls but call customers to confirm address. When i finished calling the customers and stood up and realized that someone was looking at me.but i was too tired to care who was it. I saw that was Handy when i walked to that row.we were sitting opposite to each other for hours! i got some time to listen to senior colleagues, which was great.i almost got the chance to listen to Handy!!almost!!but still sitting very closed.and talked a little.haha. I'll answer calls for hours tomorrow.i'll have a senior colleague take care of me.How sweet! I have to clam down then! Kim.im sorry Your sick.get well soon dear.kiss! And thanks so much for your lovely words.but very often i consider myself is nothing special.nothing really good.but i have to believe i have something unique.right?like everyone should believe so. Now,have to read books!see you.love you!

Hey all sweethearts! Just lost my long post.my cellphone went down for me.so now start over. I got tough customers in first day of answering calls.gave me a hard time dealing with anger customers who kept shouting and saying lots of dirty words. Second day was better.what's funny was i got a call from a target customer of the top of blacklist.she just Kept venting in one breath, which lasted for 15 mins.i didn't get any chance to talk.and leaders came over to see what happen that i had such a long call.they just laughed and said 'lucky you'! The customer didn't let me pass line to my head boss.and finally she handed up the call all in a suddent.wow.lucky me.ha Im still lame and i don't know what to do by my own a few days later.that's scary.lots things to do after Hand up calls.that's important and it's very easy for me to miss follow when commondar ask us to be hurry. I have to do half day test calls and brief course, half day answering calls.lots of uncertainties everyday.i hope i can survive.

Crazymom, how are you feeling? The flu shots take about 2 weeks to have full effect. The County here has been giving them to their employees for about 15 years now (except this year we had to get it on our own...they're watching their budget) and, I haven't had the flu since I've been getting them. I skipped the swine flu shot. Did any of you guys get that one? Trudy, the yelling clients ae no fun. I guess you have to listen no matter what. I do welfare fraud investigations and I get the yelling clients all the time but, luckily we don't have to take it. I just give people one warning to stop yelling and then I hang up on them, if it's a phone conversation or, if it's in our interview rooms, I just say "this interview is over" and walk out. THEN, as I'm walking away, is when the real yelling usually starts. Since you probably don't have that option, my advice would be to just remember that they must be very frustrated and their anger isn't really at you..it's at the company. You're just the face of the company to them.

Yes, I'm much better, but still don't have much energy. I can't believe how this thing has wiped me out.
Deb, I did take the flu shot and I'm very careful to wash hands and use hand sanitizer. I don't know how I caught this except maybe from my house guest that said she was over it but still had a cough. Now I still have the cough so I'm staying in and still disinfecting everything around the house.
#thcongratulations# Rhapsody to your son. I'm guessing this was his first choice? How is life with a full house again?
So Trudy, how is the English coming? Is it getting easier for you as you talk with more people?

Carolyn, that's wonderful news about Penn State. You must be so excited. You probably know this but, there's a new tax credit this year for college. The way I understand it, you get up to $2,500.00 off of your Federal taxes (not off income but, the tax you have to pay). Is the concert today? Have a blast.
Kim, I'm glad you're feeling better. Take it easy until you're back to 100 percent.
Trudy, it's good you can turn difficult clients over to other departments. That reminds me of an comedy routine where someone goes to the Sheriff's Department in a small town to complain about a speeding ticket they got and they're not happy with what the Sheriff tells them so, they ask to see the Mayor and, the Sheriff removes his hat and puts on a hat that says "Mayor" and says "Can I help you?" When someone is unhappy with me and asks to see my Supervisor, I often thought it would be funny to pretend to transfer the call and then come back on using a different voice. But...I'd like to keep my job so, while that would give me a good laugh, I don't think it would be wise.

Deb- I knew there was some kind of tax break ...anything is better than nothing. Which I always found unbeliveable that we didn't get a break on tuition..Yikes!
Yes today is the day! Jason was on WPLJ this morning with Scott and Todd it was fantastic well he was. Todd had to mention the weed. #IDunno# will they ever stop with that? Did you hear him? Did you see him on Good Day New York ahhhh I loved it so much with the 2 guitars. Man he just gets better and better.
Catch ya all later ladies. got lots to do. Meeting up with other Dreadheads driving into the city early and having dinner at Joes Pub!

I hate to say that im tired but i do all these days.have been sick for a week and feeling very uncomfortable in my throad.but i have to speak a lot everyday.yikes.and i sometimes clear my voice when im answering calls, that comes So nature. One colleague quit the job a few days ago.he's from the same training class with me.it's so sad to see him go after we have all this training.he said he could't handle this job. I'll officially answering calls by my own tomorrow,no more helper sitting next to me.hope it won't go too bad. Deb.you made me laugh with the pass line thing.so funny! Trudy, I guess I was confused. I thought your job was English speaking. Isn't that what you were in school for? I'm sorry to hear that another one of your classmates has left and I'm sorry that you have been sick. I know I could not be talking all day with the cough that I've had. I hope you can rest over the weekend. Please take care of yourself.
O.K. Rhapsody....what do you have to report. We are waiting for you to give us the scoop.
Deb, your stories are funny. I can just imagine you messing with the callers. I bet it's hard for you to be straight when you are so good with humor. How long have you had this type of job?

Wow....I thought I could never find this forum again. I asked a couple of times but ....well oh well.....I saw it in a retweet for street teaming for Fly Trap. I had better put this in my bookmarks. Crazymom, I miss you and Rhapsody came over the other day. Hey Trudy, yummy food and I see Deb is here too. Yip! Did you see this news. Jason got an amazing review in the New York Times Review. Tomorrow, 29th it is going to be in the actual newspaper, page C12. Says at the bottom of the article. www.nytimes.com/2010/01/29/arts/music/29castro.html
