Happy 2010 everyone!
Rhapsody, yes, good and crazy. I just have a minute while my friend is getting ready to go out. Have you moved your son home? I'm sure you have by now. Your life will change again, but it will be good.
Trudy, you are a beautiful young lady! Your outside matches your inside. Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful pictures of your country and your graduation. I will ask some questions about the pictures when I have more time.
Hugs to all!
Oh, I keep forgetting to say that we are going to NY soon, very soon. I will give details later. #thblissysmile#

Good Morning All! crazymom!- when can you give us details? #thblissysmile# I want to know When, Where, why? So I can meet up with you! How great it is you are coming up this way. Dress warm it's soooo cold here right now. It is 19 outside right now. Awwww the wedding yesterday must have been wonderful. We only got to see a few pictures but they looked magical. Hope we get a few more. ;D trudy- I showed my son the pictures of your area and your graduation. So fun! His first reaction was that it looks a lot like here but then he did see many shots that were very different. Thanks so much for sharing it's fascinating. Did you take those pic yourself they are really good. You are so adorable and we wish you much success. crazymom- Yes my son is home and waiting for transfer student orientation. Seems so late to me. Not till next week. Then registration ...classes start on the 18th. Son #2 got his first acceptance letter over the weekend so he is a happy boy. So many of his friends have heard from at least one school by now so he's feeling a bit better about the whole thing now. Hope to hear details soon!

Rhapsody,
I don't have much info. It's business related for hubby but our time may not be our own. We are coming to NY a week from Tues. and leaving on Thurs. to come back home. I wanted to extend our stay but he did not want to make it a hassle for the people planning the trip. We are coming with a group and they are planning the agenda. I know no details yet. I kept thinking I would get more info before I said anything about the trip but so far no details. I'm thinking that you'll be back in school by then. I can't believe I will finally get up there and not have time to meet you guys, so sad.
Does son2 like the school he got the acceptance from?
So happy for Jason and Mandy. I cannot believe he tweeted after the ceremony, so funny.

Hi Guys!
trudy- wow you poor thing ! let us know how your day turned out. Sounds quite stressful.
crazymom- share those details whenever you get them anyway. That is a very tight schedule for sure. Getting into NY on a workday and it sounds like you really only have 1 day. Yikes that is a shame I would love to meet you.
As for son #2. This is not his #1 choice for a school it is THE most expensive of the 4 he applied to. The good thing about it is it has a great program for his major so we must consider all when we hear from all. They did give him some $$ but not a whole lot.
I'm getting so excited 1 week and we get Jason's EP #thyahoo# I have a new favorite song already. I have a recording of If I were you that I got off YouTube from when Jason sang at The Texas Fair and I love it. The studio version is amazing from what little I heard of it on Amazon! and.....1 week till Idol starts and all the fun begins again. I hear we may see more dreads this season. #IDunno#
Have a great day Ladies! #thSENDIN1#

HELLO MY LOVELY FRIENDS!!!HOW ARE YOU ALL DOING?

i typed a super long post last night on my cellphone, but before i post,my cellphone ran out of battery and truned off. i was so speechless!!!! so i made up my mind to come to a internet bar to post.so here i am..
i almost went crazy this week. i ran between school and company everyday when the sun hasn't come out and went back to apartment in late evening.it's raining and cold these days.i late for school finals 3 times.i have to rush back to company right i finished the paper and take training and answer calls in the evening. i was so worn out this week that i can fall asleep within 1 min.i really had the taste of tired.
about answering calls,i was so freak out in first day and then got better the next days but still very lame!i have a senior colleague sitting next to me to help me.but she has been so hard on me that i felt so terrible about myself everyday. she was so unpatient and unfriendly.i didn't get much help but lots of her criticisms.
i will have regular training next week and than start the job on 21/JAN. now i have to go back to do my business.
love yall so much!!later!

#blizzard_4# I am asking myself daily why in the world I want to fly to NY for one day in the dead of winter. I am crazy....it sounded good when we got the offer. I don't think I knew it was for just one day when I was asked if I wanted to go.
We have had temps in the low teens this past week and I no likey. I would say I'm being conditioned for NY but I don't think so, now I want to stay home and hibernate. Isn't that what winters are for anyway, I think I'm part bear.
We arrive late on Tues and have a dinner to attend, scheduled events on Wed while men are in meetings and a dinner that evening with a trip to see South Pacific (I guess this is the real reason I said yes). Then we leave around noon on Thurs. I'll just wave as I fly in and out....how's that. #IDunno#
I guess I'll record idol Tues, is there any news of Michael?
Trudy, I thought you were having a hard week and you have really been on my mind a lot. You do know that we want you to be happy, don't you. #hugz#
Rhapsody, will pray for more acceptance letters, do you have a 1st choice or do you just want him to go where he wants to go?
Hi Deb and Rosequeen out there. RQ, let us know whenever things change for you, I remember your new year's resolution.
I think RR has left this little island paradise for good. She had a lot of homes to keep up with, I don't know how she ever got any work done.

Good Morning All!
trudy! thanks for keeping us in the loop with your job and tests. I know it is all stressful for you but you are doing it girl! Wow your job starts on the 21st that is sooo great I'm happy for you and as crazymom said you are in our thoughts and prayers this will all work out for you. I showed my other son your pictures ...he is the one who is your same age...he thought they were really cool too. Share more anytime we love them.
Hi Deb...how are you?
crazymom- hey at least you get to go to a Broadway show that will be great. The city is so cold I feel bad you are up here at this time. I think Thursday it's gonna warm up to the 40's just when you are heading out.
Please wave to us! Have a safe trip and enjoy the city it sure is fun! ;D
My son's first choice is the university that my older son is starting so if he gets in there that will be wonderful and the price is right!
As for AI and Micheal ...I read this one article
American Idol Season 9 Start? The two-night season premiere will begin Tuesday, January 12 at 8/7central and feature new auditions from Boston. The Wednesday, January 13 episode at 8/7central will showcase the best and worst of Atlanta auditions.
After this two-part premiere, American Idol auditions will continue to be aired for the following three weeks on January 19 (Chicago auditions), 20 (Orlando auditions); 26 (Dallas auditions), 27 (Los Angeles auditions); February 2 (Denver auditions), 3 ("The Road to Hollywood"). Each of these shows will air at 8/7central with the exceptions of episodes on January 27 and February 3, which reportedly will air at 9/8central.
The airing of the "Hollywood Round" will begin on Tuesday, February 9 at 8/7central and continue according to Idol's Tuesday-Wednesday routine until Wednesday, February 17 at 9/8central where the final 24 will be announced, the Top 12 male and Top 12 female semifinalists. The live and voting portion of American Idol won't begin until Tuesday, February 23 at 8/7central.
What Do We Have to Look Forward to?
Two words: Michael Castro. Michael, the younger brother of Season 7's Jason Castro, has auditioned for Season 9. Having been ousted during Hollywood Week of Season 8, Michael has been perfecting his craft ever since. If he makes it to the live rounds, there's no telling where his fan base can take him after that.
Another interesting contestant is Sydney Rees, a friend and occasional-duet partner of Benton Paul--Benton having just finished touring with the Idol-alum David Archuleta. Sydney's got a great voice, but we will have to wait and see how the judges take to her style and presence. If the judges are anything, they're unpredictable when it comes to judging first auditions.

#thWooHoo2# sunshine and 55 degrees!
I am thankful today for the people who invented washers and dryers. I know that is very random......just thoughts going through my head today.
Rhapsody, thanks for the article info. I have not been checking my email for google alerts recently so am out of the loop but excited for the new season of talent. Last night I got caught up watching Jason's Christmas Tree lighting videos and the one from his church. I was trying to download them but the files were huge and were taking forever. I wanted to make some mp3's from them for my ipod.
Trudy, I know you are a very happy and positive person but I don't want you to be made miserable by the people who work with you. When you have time, please tell us what it is that you will be doing for your job, if you know.
Have a good week everyone.

hey guys! i just start my day.the trainer is not here in the training room yet.so i get a few mins to talk about my job. im a operator,my job is to answer 3G mobile customers' calls in a call center. what i have to do is provide right info and solve problems like if they can't use GPRS or any problem they have while using our service. i have to answer why their bills are so expensive, explain all charges and do calculation.how to apply and cancel all kinds of vas and mark different forms to let other teams to follow.have to remember all pass line numbers and know when should i pass line in different situation or according to customers' typies. also have to remember tons of charge codes and other codes and how to deal with it when there's some special codes.how to apply autopay, how to do online payment, how to reconnect service, how to do when customers lose their phones...... we have to have breifing everyday before training,to know what's new today and what promotion or productions that company just made.we have to introduce cellphones and offers. we are requested to answer 14 calls in 1 hour and we can't hold the line more than 1 min and we shouldn't hold the line more than 2 times in one call....there's commondars monitor us. lots of requests!!! i think the most difficult part of the job is how to remember so many things to provide right info and how to speak to customers skillfully and confidentely. oh...i have to go now.later!

errrrrr...i got something to tell ya...that is ..i met a guy last saturday. i went to the company to see how senior colleague answer calls. and the leader asked me to listen him.his name is Handy,i never heard of such a name,he said he created it himself...haha... then i found his voice sounds very very very nice and kinda got lost listening to him...answering calls can be very busy,he talked with me about everything when he was holding the line or when a call was over.we had such a good time that afternoon. he's humor and looks neat. he made a heart shade by clicking cells in word sheet and showed me. then my one side of my headphone didn't work, and he said"so you still got one side that's ok. you have feeling right? im afriad the most is that you don't have feeling." i was like what's it to do with feeling? i couldn't come out with any word...and i noticed that his face was red and he said he's feeling hot.......errr..in a cold day?haha i left some hours later and i was thinking of him that day.... then the next 3 mornings,i saw him on my way to the company but he didn't see me. then oneday,i was walking ahead of him and he saw me...then when in the briefing room, for the first time i saw him. and he pulled a chair sitting real close to me. but we didn't say anything cuz someone big was watching... so far...that's all our story...haha...im kinda falling for him..(speaking with shyness).. but i must have to focus on my job as im starting my job offically on next wednesday..so we'll see how things go. maybe someday.heehee
