Safin, Sharapova gone. I haven't been able to give it much of my attention right now but I'm catching games here and there.

Safin was never even in that match. Bummer.
Some good matches are on tap for today. Bug, have you see Jo Wilfred Tsonga play? He's so funny and gives it 110% like Agassi always did. Plus, he's easy on the eyes. #drool#

One in Boston, the other in Newport Beach. I know the NB one is July 17 but I don't remember the date of Boston, but before July 17.
He's playing for the Philadelphia team.

I'm still peeved that a major city like Chicago can't keep a tournament in town. They used to have the Volvo here in the early 80s for the men. Then they had the Va. Slims Tour for the women and then they had the Seniors Tour which was fun. Got to meet John McEnroe and Mats Wilander. But nothing now.

Tennis history was made today!! First match under the roof and lights at Centre Court, Wimbledon and the latest match ever played there...a stunning five setter won by home town favorite, Andy Murray!!!

Whoa, Roddick made it thru. I wish he wouldn't stand so far behind the baseline

Whoa, Roddick made it thru. I wish he wouldn't stand so far behind the baseline I noticed that too, Bug. Always yelling at him to move in through the TV. ;D Wasn't that a fabulous match? The semis are going to be insane. Are you rooting for Andy or Andy? ;D I've heard the Queen is quite the Andy Murray fan and if he makes the finale, she'll be there on Sunday.

Yep, I used to scream at him too but I've given up. Well, Britain wants their champion but I'll be rooting for Roddick.

I lost all kinds of sleep watching that epic match today. I just wish Dementieva had won.

I lost all kinds of sleep watching that epic match today. I just wish Dementieva had won. I have zero interest in an all Williams finale. They're always snore fests.

I hope he stays at 14. I don't think Roddick will beat Fed but I'm so happy how well he played today and that he at least has a chance.

16-14 in the 5th set? Unbelievable effort from two great champions!!! What a match!! Amazing to see Borg, Laver, Sampras, McEnroe and Federer all together...well, just about. **Edited to correct the score**

Awww, Bug, I know. After the 'epic-ness' of that match it would have been indescribable if Andy had won. The emotion would have been overwhelming for him. I really thought he had it there.

I was rooting for Andy, although my fave is Roger. I really thought as well that Andy was finally going to do it! He was so impressive!
Soooooooooo on to the OPEN!
And wow, can you imagine sitting in the box with Andre! So glad he is going to be honored!
