I stand corrected. Thank you for the trivia. Now I can correct all my friends that think it's part of Scan. ;D Is Soderling like THE biggest thing in Sweden right now? Well, he was, until he lost the game J/k... of course there has been headlines in every newspaper about his success. It was quite a long time that Sweden had any really good tennis players, so we're hoping that this will last for a while. Btw... Sweden won the boy's final! So two swedes in the finals will make a lot of kids start playing tennis in the next few weeks I suppose! ;D

Robin Soderling deserves plenty of kudos. He beat some amazing champions to reach the finals. He's very exciting to watch so I hope we see more of him, too.
Did you guys see that intruder run onto the court and try to put that hat on Federer? OMG...I was freaking. All I could think of was Monica Seles getting stabbed at the French Open years ago. So glad that joker was just trying to have some fun and not there to harm Roger. Security really blew it. I bet someone just lost their job.

I know! Monica flashed right in my head. Awful that they can still get on the court that easily. Congrats to Kunetzsova (sp) too. I was rooting for her. Stef and Andre Roger's baby is due in August, so he's ok for the tournaments. Pretty good timing

Well, I guess having his first child might be a little more important than the US Open. ;D Thank goodness that guy that ran out on court was just a wackadoo. I don't even want to think about what could have been.

The Open's at the tail end but they didn't say exactly when in August she's due, and if it's late who knows. So it isn't definite. I guess nature will decide that!

I'd surely miss him playing, but he's going to be a Papa!! He and Mirka are so European. They get preggers then they get married. I love it!! ;D

And...a new baby on the way!! Whoop! The man is amazing! Love him! Had to work though so I missed it. I've had to work 8 days straight so I've been to exhausted to keep up. Thank you for keeping me in-tune! *And yes it is scary that a wacko fan can still make it onto the court. Taking Monica out of the game was the worst thing for me ever in tennis. She's my ultimate fave of all time. I just keep thinking "What if it never happened?" The open usually runs the last week of August, through early Sept, so maybe he'll play.

Thx! Loved Andre and Stef smooches and Andre's 4-corner kisses at the end of the Henman match.

I was afraid Rafa wouldn't play. That should give Fed clear sailing.
Just in time to see the last set again yesterday, Nancy. Such good stuff. Too bad for this year.

No Rafa? Get set for #15, Roger!!! Why am I nervous that Robin Soderling is in the same quarter of the draw as Federer? Bug, watched the 4th set tie breaker and getting ready for the 5th set now. That breaker was insane!!!

The only really riveting match today was Nola's. I was so scared for Julien Bennettau when he crashed knees first into the wall on match point for Nola. You gotta have alot of respect for an athlete who plays through the pain as he did in finishing that match. James Blake...huge disappointment. Jo Wilfred Tsonga...YAY!!!
