Just got home last night and read my Tennis.com updates. What, Nadal and Ivanovic out? Man what did I miss? Time to catch up!

Djokovic is out too. Looks like Andy Murray can cruise to the finals and all the drama will be on the bottom half with Federer and Roddick still in it. Although Roddick plays shortly. I'm watching Tsonga/Del Potro now and Tsonga isn't doing very well.

I'm loving The Tennis Channel. Champions Tour match: Sampras vs Wilander!!!
Rafter just played Courrier but I missed that one. Four of my faves from years gone by!!
Bug, if you have a chance to watch the third set of the Jankovic/Cristea match from the French today...do it. Trust me. ;D
Now I have to channel surf between ESPN 2 where Roddick is playing Monfiels and this one. UGH...decisions decisions. ;D

I'll try to catch Janovich. Mostly I've just seen parts of all of them.
Sounds like you're loving your new toy. They show a lot of the classic matches. When you said you watched 7 hrs of tennis the other day I assumed you had the channel.
Roddick out. I think Serena's the only American left.

And Monfils made mince meat out of Roddick, but he was sort of unsportman like trying to rev up the crowd like he did. I'm loving my new toy. ;D

So yeah...five sets for Federer to get to the Quarters and Soldering is just marching right along. (Still can't believe what happened with Rafa) So, do you think we might be heading to a Soldering vs. Federer final? Hmmmmmmmm.

I dunno, I have mixed feelings about Fed getting to the final and beating anyone other than Rafa. It just won't feel right somehow.

First Federer has to get past Monfils tomorrow. I'm so excited to watch that match!! If Monfils plays the way he did yesterday against Roddick, we might be looking at a Soderling/Monfils final. That would be an awesome match, but I'm rooting for Rog. This might be his one and only shot at the French title and if he wins not only does he will the French for the first time, but it will tie Sampras for all time Slam wins AND, earn him a career Grand Slam. He'd be in the company of my babydoll, Andre if that happens. ;D It would be MAJOR!! I'd sort of like to see some tennis history like that this weekend. Although it's always exciting to see a player win their first Grand Slam. (Soderling/Monfils)

I don't really want Andre's record to be duplicated but I guess that's the way the ball bounces, haha.
I know Fed's not there yet but he's the heavy fav now.

Are the Men's Semi's LIVE on NBC in the AM? I bet they're tape delayed if they are on NBC. Probably LIVE on the Tennis Channel. Anyone know? Carrie? Bug? Oh, ESPN 2 maybe? Off to see if I can find out.
Can't wait to see 'em!!

It's on NBC right now. Soderling is winning. JO, are you watching? Mary Carillo just made an ABBA reference. ;D
I hope they show Federer's match.

I see that Soderling won and will be in the finals with Roger. I listened to Roger's match on the radio...I've never heard tennis over the radio before and it was unbelievable!!! The 20 year old gave Rog a tough match! Can't wait for the final!

Well, being from Sweden I really need to surface here now that "we" have Soderling in the final! Also wanna mention that in the Boy's singles we also have a swedish finalist - Daniel Berta... It's been a long time, last time a swede in the final was in 2000 when Magnus Norman (who is Soderlings trainer, btw) lost to Gustavo Kuerten. Hoping that this will be a better year for us Swedes...

I'll root for the Swiss while you root for the Swede. ;D An all Scandanavian finale. I wonder when the last one of those was!!
Congrats for Soderling's success at the French. It must be very exciting in Sweden right now. I saw Bjorn sitting in the stands today!!
**ETA**
I miss Guga. He retired much too soon.

It's a buzz for sure over here! (But I need to correct you just a bit, Nancy... Switzerland is not in Scandinavia That's Norway, Finland, Sweden, Denmark) But as far as I can understand, a lot of people have trouble separating Sweden and Switzerland so... It is gonna be exciting, that's for sure!

I stand corrected. Thank you for the trivia. Now I can correct all my friends that think it's part of Scan. ;D Is Soderling like THE biggest thing in Sweden right now?

I love Bjorn and saw a clip of him in the stands rooting for Sonerling. I got to meet him ... long ago in Chestnut Hill, Mass where he was playing in the Pro Championships. Soooo exciting. He is so intense and really gorgeous. I think his legs are abit like Jason's....ha!
