I love all of Jason's songs too, I love Travel'n Thru, and Hallelujah just goes without saying, but I really loved If I Fell, I haven't seen that one mentioned much. Any one else love his version of it?

If I Fell was the first studio version and that's when I really felt he was going to go far. I thought he was really great and original live up to that point, but the beautiful pure quality of his voice really comes through on that recorded song.
It is an impossibility for me to pick a favorite song. I love what he does with each and every one, especially the covers. I love his original music and most of his lyrics.
It's his beautiful singing voice that makes us love all these songs, and I hope he now realizes that he has a great and unique voice and that people love to hear it.

If held at gunpoint and forced to choose (cuz i love them all so much) I'd say Fragile is my favorite Studio, Favorite Live was Hallelujah, and Favorite original song (so far) is So Fast, which I have listened to at least a hundred times and never fails to bring me to tears before it finishes.

I may have already answered this but just in case I always have to hit the repeat button when "Memory" comes on and I think "Someday" should be on his album. I think it would get good radio play.

As most of you have stated, I love all of Jason's songs as well with the one exception of ISTS. That is the only one I didn't download. My favorite studio recording from AI would have to be- I Don't Wanna Cry this song sounds like Jason wrote it. I know he didn't, but it is very much his style. He truly made it his own. When he sang it on AI he did an amazing job. I have no idea what Randy was talking about "Luau"  Huh? My favorite Live from AI would be - Hallalujah - it's my ring tone! I can't wait till we get Jason's full length version of this song. Wow! Again I don't understand Randy's comment "They (Jeff Buckley) really worked it out" and in my humble opinion so did Jason. I downloaded the Buckley version just so I could hear the whole song and I'd much rather hear Jason sing it. Sorry! My favorite Original - Someday - love it, love it , love it!! Keep them coming Jason. Cover - Clumsy- love that it's a Christian song. Other favs. Over the Rainbow and Forvever in Bluejeans- when he sings " Baby's Treats" ...... I melt! Travelin Thru is way up there too! Ok Ok they are all wonderful in some way or another. |

I LOVE the AI video version of Fragile. I love the faces Jason makes. He's so sincere and into the lyrics. There are obvious favorites like Over the Rainbow, but Fragile is special to me.

all beautiful songs sung with appropriate feeling. I never cared about what the AI judges mouthed re: "not the right song choice" or "dont recognize Jason". Yes, there were songs that could have been polished to perfection like those that got honed to STUDIO finest. If AI cared to support all of Jason's choices, it would have been heaven bliss. But I guess AI had other agenda and focused elsewhere hahaha. And maybe their priorities didnt always jibe with Jason's readiness.
His originals I embrace simply because they are his creation.
Jason's songs LIVE evolved to awesome charming renditions too. VISUAL Jason song performances I also love!
Is it at all possible to have all of the above in a large CD collection/Songs/Videos? I dont care if it costs me ! Piece of heaven on earth.

I already posted my favorite but I really love them all. I listen to them over & over. I try listening to other music but just doesn't satisfy anymore and go back to just Jason. I never thought I could be taken in so by a mellow singer since always gravitated to rock but there is just something about his voice I cannot get enough of.

"If I fell" pulled me in farther
"Hallelujah" is another fave.....but, I love that song. Period.
"Fragile" really got me.
"SOTR"~~~I still get teary eyed when I hear him sing it. I will never forget how Simon reacted to this performance.
Well....I could go on and on...(and sorry if I don't have the songs in the right order, but I can't think at 2:30am!!! #smiley-yawn# )

Hallelujah is what made me see who Jason is, it is when I saw and heard him.. so...Hallelujah, Memory, Forever in Blue Jeans, If I fell, Fragile, I don't want to cry, daydreaming....All of them. I even liked I shot the Sheriff!
I love "the Other Side" and "So Fast". It really is hard to pick a favorite. I've been listening to country for a long time. Since Jason, I listen to Damien Rice, Jason mraz, jack Johnson...etc. Had never heard of them before. Jason acquainted us with a lot of other entertainers, not to mention Buckley. But I hope Jason's new album comes out soon!!!
