Who took Sydney? From some of the spoilers I've read...might be Anna? I need a massive recap from the past few weeks. Remember, I can't watch anymore. What is going on with Bo and Hope? Are they getting back together or not? I hate how she's treating him. It's silly. Not like her at all. The writers got this one really wrong. I know they wanted a way to bring Carly into the pic again, but Hope would NEVER behave like this. At least from what I've read.

Anna took Sydney. Don't know why. (I haven't watched Mondays episode yet.) Brady and Ari are together and he knows about her past and how she is helping the police track down who is the drug supplier. Brady talked to Victor as he was suspicious of him being the supplier but is now convinced it is someone more dangerous. Sami and Rafe are getting closer and the scenes with them have been sweet. Rafe acquired some type of truth serum and had it put in Stephano's water bottle. Rafe then went in and questioned Stephano about Sydney's kidnapping. Stephano denied it and Rafe believes him. I'm like you Sunshine...not believing the scenes with Bo & Hope. Carly is still in love with Bo but is denying it. Maggie is suspicious and so is Justin. Justin warned Bo but he dismissed the idea. Later he found a scroll from their "wedding" in Carly's purse. She said it brought back happy memories and he said that was a long time ago. Vivian has moved into Victor's house and they are pretending to be involved again. She wants to find out why Carly is in Salem. Hope is suspicious of Vivian and is pretending to be close and friendly with her. Days has fired Bryan Dittilo, aka Lucas and he has taped his last scene. *sad

Interestingly enough, no. It makes perfect sense to me...I just wish I would have thought of her, haha.
(won't say who it is in case people are still watching.) I'm off to catch today's episode on Soap Net!

It seems like he's been on the show forever...at least he has for as long as I watched it. Bummer. It seems a cheesy replacement may be coming soon. I hate those.

Days shocked a lot of fans and the actors by letting him go when they went on hiatus for the holidays. I found out on Twitter when a bunch of them started tweeting Bryan = It didn't take long for the soap spoiler sites to post the sad news. ETA: link for article-- www.starmagazine.com/bryan_dattilo_exclusive/news/16351And now I'm behind again...haven't watched any episodes this week. Sunshine - hope you can watch during Christmas. I love the classic Christmas scenes at the Hortons...hanging the ornaments...

I speak from personal experience because I was fired from my job last year just after the holidays, like the first week of January. I certainly wish him the best of luck. I love the Horton traditions too. The Christmas Eve hanging of the ornaments is lovely. Very heart warming.

Sunshine - I think there is a new episode on Christmas Day. I'm still behind but my daughter said yesterday's show was GOOD!

I thought Days was always postponed on Christmas Day. I definitely could be wrong, though. I'm never home on Christmas Day to watch it, so I can't be sure. I hope you get to watch Sunshine!

I got to watch!! Yay!! What did you think about it? Do you have any questions? I'm still not believing Hope/Bo/Carly storyline. It just gets worse and worse..

First, I'm wondering how long they're going to drag out Sydney's kidnapping before she's reunited with Sami.
Second, Hope is being a moron. The Hope we're used to would NEVER behave like this and put Bo through what she's been putting him through since Cierra's kidnapping. Hmmmm...just realized, Days is big on kidnapping children lately. Not a good storyline...ever, IMO.
Did they ever reveal whether Carly is Mia or Melanie's mother? Why did Melanie accept Philip's proposal if she's in love with Nathan?
And I wanted to see a good catfight between Kate and Vivian, but it never happened the one time I got to watch.
Maybe it will be on today, too.

I hear you, Sunshine! Hope has been behaving like a spoiled little brat lately. At this point, I'm kind of hoping they will get divorced because I'm starting to think Bo can do better. And, it's not like she has any room to talk where Carly is concerned, not with the way she's been snuggling up to Justin lately.
And, they really are dragging out Sydney's kidnapping beyond what is necessary. Hopefully, that will all be ending soon.
As far as I know, they haven't yet revealed who Carly's daughter is, but my money is still with Mia.
As for Melanie, I think she accepted Philips proposal because she's confused and doesn't really know who she wants. I think she's probably better off with Philip, but he needs to give her the time and space she needs to figure that out. But, lately I've been thinking that Nathan can do 100 times better than Stephanie. Is it just me, or has she been really snotty lately?

I wish I could answer your question about Stephanie, but since I haven't been able to watch, I can't. Aside from Carly murdering her husband, she's ok. I always liked her with Bo, anyway. ;D

Stephanie is irritating me as well. I didn't like her at first, then warmed up to her and now she is just "snotty" like you said.
I missed the whole Carly/Bo go round the first time. Personally, I just don't care for her character at all.
Hope & Bo will always be special to me. They started dating around the time that my husband & I did. The people who are coming up with this story & writing their lines are messing up. It doesn't make sense.
OTOH the writers for EJ/Sami/Rafe are doing an excellent job. I read a spoiler saying the kidnapping storyline would continue through Christmas and New Years.
No, they haven't revealed who Carly's daughter is but I read that spoiler too.
My opinion on Melanie: she loves them both in different ways but loves Phillip more. He hurt her and she was angry and confused. Nathan is safe and she knows that she would have a secure life with him. Phillip & Melanie are a like and they understand each other. One of Melanie's former "business men" found her in Salem at Maggie's. He wanted money among other things. Phillip walked in the kitchen at the right time. Very interesting exchange between them---Phillip offered his watch to pay off her debt but the guy refused when he heard the name Kiriakas. Melanie was very grateful to Phillip.

With the way Stephanie's been acting lately, you're probably better off. She's been treating Melanie like dirt beneath her feet and constantly rubbing it in her face that she and Nathan are now together. Someone is very insecure, and she's handling it very badly. Elg, I agree with you. When Stephanie returned to Salem, she was horrible. Then, I kind of softened toward her a little bit, and now she's getting on my nerves again. I hope she gets off her high horse soon. Maybe Nathan will push her off the Salem pier...that would be fun! Bo & Hope never really bothered me before now. Actually, it's hope that's bugging me. I usually think she's cool, but she has this horrible habit of running away whenever things don't go her way. It's very annoying and immature. I don't know much about Carly, because I missed her the first time she was on the show. But, I have very much enjoyed the flashbacks of her being buried alive lately. That always makes for a good soap opera story line. ;D

Remembering back to the summer years ago...it was awful!! I had young kids at home and had to turn off Days. Actually the scenes were making ME claustrophobic but more importantly I didn't want my kids to see. Now I can just FF right through those scenes. yay for technology!

HAHA! After today's episode, I might just get my Nathan/Stephanie wish! (Actually, I doubt I will, but it's fun to envision. I won't say anything more until I know that you saw it...and then we can fill Nancy 'Sunshine' in.) I have to hand it to Stephanie this time, though. I'd have done the same thing.
Oooo, yeah those "buried alive" scenes aren't very kid friendly, are they? I can see why you turned them off. Good call! I don't really get claustrophobic, but I can imagine how frightening that would be...not that anything remotely close to that would happen nowadays.
Did you fast forward through the scenes when Stephanie was being held hostage in the morgue? Not that this wasn't justified, but her whining throughout that whole ordeal really got under my skin after a while, I'm such a terrible person!

LOL Yes, you might just get your wish! I don't blame Stephanie though. And I agree with what Victor said to Justin and Hope today. That's a first! Who's writing this stuff anyway?!! To answer your question--Yes, I did FF through Stephanie's scenes at the morgue. Besides being morbid, it was a bit too much. Some sad Days ahead y'all. Get your Kleenex.
