Mother's day was amazing...I went to College Station to gather up all of Michael's personal belongings (furniture and roaches included, which are now dead thanks to those handy bombs!) I've never seen anything like it....Pretty gross and so glad Mike's been home this semester, those boys do not know how to keep up with cleaning! Anyway, packed it all up, Saturday Michael and Mackenzie gave Michele (Mackenzie's mom) and I some sweet presents from Bath and Body works...drove home without Michael (He stayed behind to help Mackenzie pack up the rest of her stuff and study for finals and will drive home later this week) listening to all of Jason's new songs and trying to decide on my top 12 favorites, and it's tough! Anyway, made it home, no Rene, no Jackie (they took the g-mas out for lunch) So I had the entire house to myself...Bath & Bodyworks bubble bath and a 4 hour nap...It was perfect!!! Jason felt a little bad not being here, but like I told him, mother's day is everyday....let's enjoy the times we do have together and not worry about those crazy holidays!
To all you mamas...hope it was as good for you as it was for me!!!

Nicely put, Betsy. I felt much like Jason did. I couldn't be with mom on that day, but ya know, she said something very similar to what you just mentioned! Great minds think alike! Oh, and naps are A-MAZING...wish I could take them more often!  |

Nice to hear from you Betsy, glad you had an awesome afternoon to yourself! I took one earlier in the week and got a massage and then went to see the Soloist all by myself, it was heavenly!!

I am glad that you enjoyed your Mother's day. I am sure Jason is conflicted missing so many holidays with his family. I do hope that things can slow down some for you all to spend some time together. He does have to keep busy, but it must be hard for you with all of the change too.

Sorry for the lateness. I was sick on Mother's day so was not around here much. My 5 kids kept me well entertained while I healed. Isn't family the best.

oh Betsy, you are so right about boys & keeping up with cleaning... but that's okay, I'm just happy to have my boys. It's so true about the crazy holidays, we need to appreciate everyday & enjoy our times together. I had a great mother's day but also didn't get to see my oldest son, he was finishing up school with his finals and he also has a job & not to mention the 4 1/2 hr. drive, which doesn't sound that far except we are kinda low with the finances & trying to be good with our money. I got a beautiful outfit & also some bath & body (coconut lime verbena spray), I love it. Well, hope jason is finishing up the CD soon, can't wait to hear the beautiful music. I am so looking forward to when he tours. okay, enough chit chat, ttyl Take care Betsy. #blowingkiss# |

Where does time fly!!! What an amazing finale! To think we were there taking it all in a year ago...it is a dreamy night...and the night is young. Jason was doing a 2 hour autograph session for VIP's then headed to the Grammy mueseum to sing at 10 pm, then back to the 19 after party...Then early morning writing session with one of his favorites...Dave Lichens....It has been 3 days of non-stop activity but such a great time for all involved...Look for pictures soon to come...did y'all see the first webisode...kind of left me hangin, so until next week! Hang in there :-) Lots of great footage coming up :-)

Hi Betsy: Jason looked great tonight in all the interviews and pictures I have seen. Quite a few pictures have shown up on twitter search. Heard him sing just a little of Sweet Medicine in one of the interviews.
He sounded wonderful as always. I am very excited about what all is to come.

Just stopping in to say hi, and to say that i hope you all had a very happy and safe Memorial day weekend. Speaking of safe, i have a request from a couple hundred of my closest dreadhead friends. We all saw pictures of Jason with his feet hanging off the cliff, then we saw pictures of him at the top. there were no pictures of him coming down OR WITH HIS FEET ON THE GROUND,WHERE THEY SHOULD BE! Could you please tell your precious son that his hundreds of other mother's have been pacing the floor, biting nails, pulling our hair out, and pointing our finger's at him for not letting us know that he made it to the bottom ok. TDH'S have decided that he is just going to have to be grounded (literally). hehehe

Well, we know that his two buddies made it down. There is a twitpic of one sleeping in what is probably Jason's car. So we were all able to sleep last night. But, yeah, we enjoyed going along for the ride, but could we see the conclusion the next time pllleeeaaasee  !!! |

Those pictures of Jason's feet hanging from a cliff,in his little red shoes(that are not made for climbing) scared me senseless!! I could not stand for one strand of hair on that boy's precious head being harmed,so tell him he is driving his "Moms" crazy out here..We love your baby boy!!! and we want him to be careful..
