Aaaand here we go again! Another copy and paste of my experience from Castrocopia. It was a lot of typing. Hope you don't mind reading!

Let me just start off by saying that my Manchester experience was UNBELIEVABLE. So many good things happened, and I had some majorly good things come my way at this show.

I probably got 3 hours of sleep at my hotel in Worcester. I set my wake-up call for 6:30 am. It was painful trying to get moving. lol I had some MAJOR contact lens issues before I left. It's possible I have one lodged up under my lid, cause I couldn't find it. Like a moron, I picked at my BARE EYE, thinking my lens was stuck on there.

I got out of there somewhere around 8:30, I think. I had a nice drive, encountered no heavy traffic, and saw some really cool clouds. I found the Verizon Wireless Arena with no problem. I parked my car and then realized I needed to buy some antacids and I had to use the ladies room. I literally probably walked almost 2 miles for a public bathroom and for a CVS. I'm really glad I went to CVS though, because I spotted a cigar shop across the street named Castro's.

Anyway, I walked to the bus stalking area and there were probably 30-40 people there already. (As a matter of fact, Michael Johns said this was the biggest preshow crowd so far, by the time everyone was there). IT WAS SO HOT OUT! They put up the barricades and the clouds came. Of course, I got myself right there by the door. The clouds came and went, giving us brief relief from the heat.

By the time the idols arrived, it was VERY cloudy and looked foreboding. So, eventually the girls came out. All of them nice, no Syesha, no Rami. Carly, Kristy, and Brook came out, though. Cook came out, Archie, Michael.......no Jason.

There was a big lull. We were all worried. The rain had begun and it actually started to get a little chilly. The guards kind of made it sound like that might be it, but did not confirm it. A lot of people cleared out. There were lots of Dreadheads and Castrocopians left. We asked if the guards could please get the message to Jason that HIS fans were the ones who were still there?

About 10 minutes later, out walks Jason. I kid you not, THE SUN CAME OUT when Jason walked out. And it was still raining a little. I said, while he was somewhat near me, "If we get a rainbow right now, it will be a little too perfect." Someone near me agreed. No rainbow though. Anyway he came out with a big smile, waving, jumping right into signing autographs. Rumor has it that he was....wait for it.....sleeping. I love it. Jason is so Jason. lol

It didn't take long for Jason to get to me because I was pretty near the door. He set his water bottle down right in front of me. I asked if he'd mind doing a picture again and taking it. Once again, he said, "Sure!" and took my camera. He took the picture, turned the camera around to make sure it came out ok, showed it to me (Rockin_Mom of Castrocopia got a picture of this), said it was good, and handed it back to me.

I asked him if he got a chance to take a look at the Maine book that I gave him in Worcester. He looked at me and said, "I did! (nods) There are some funny little stories and stuff in there. Thanks!" I said, "Oh good, I'm glad you've had a chance to look at it." He smiled and said, "Yeahhh." I think that's all I said to him, but I can't really remember! It will probably come to me eventually if we said anything else there. He headed off down the rest of the line.

When he was done and heading back, I reminded him not to forget his water. He said, "Oh yeah, thanks" and bent down and grabbed it.

After Jason was gone, no one else came out. Rockin_mom invited me to eat with herself and some ladies. I was going to go, but realllly needed to freshen up after having been sweaty and rained on. Not the look I would have chosen when meeting Jason. lol

I went back to my car (in the parking garage), ate some snacks, reapplied my make up, chewed some gum, and brushed my hair. I was right there at the entrance. All of a sudden, I heard a crash. There was a car accident right outside the garage. I talked to the folks a few cars over from me, asking if they saw it happen. All of a sudden, Altrock4U pops out!

I said, "Omg! Hi!" and she came running over and hugged me. So, we walk together back to the arena to wait for the doors to open. We got our pictures taken by State Farm Insurance people. Apparently the pics were put on the big screen before the show! I never saw it, though.

So we finally got inside. I had 2 tickets. One was on Floor 1, Row 12, the other was Floor 3, Row 2. Much to my surprise, the 12th row seat was better! In the 2nd row, you have to look at the back/side of everyone from that angle. Plus, Jason never walks over there. I decided to stick with the 12th row seat. Besides, Alt just so happened to have seats 5 rows directly behind me!

I told the ladies that I was staying there. With the encouragement of Alt, I decide to find a Jason fan up in the rafters and give away my 2nd row ticket. Only to a Jason fan, though. I don't know how do describe it, but I felt led to go a certain direction, so I just followed it.

I got to the top and I saw these 2 girls sitting together. I asked them if they were Jason fans. One of them said, "I am!" and I offered her the ticket. She was like, "Are you serious? Omg!" She had a dilemma because she didn't want to leave her friend, but her friend was totally cool with it. She asked if it would be ok if she just went down during Jason's set. I didn't mind at all! I wanted a JASON fan to enjoy JASON! lol She thanked me and couldn't really believe I picked her out of everybody.

I got back to my seat and the show started not long after that. The screams for Jason were DEAFENING in New Hampshire. I'd venture to say they were second only to Cook's. There was lots of Jason love that night. It made him smile, for sure! He seemed really humbled and was really happy with the reception he got in NH.

The show ended, the lights came up, and I climbed the seats to where Alt was sitting. When I got toward the stairs that lead out of the seating area, I noticed this guy with a handful of after party passes. I gingerly walked up to him and asked him if I could have one. He asked me if I wanted two, and I said, "Just one." AND HE GAVE ME ONE!!!! I thanked him profusely.

I trotted up the stairs to where Alt was and plopped myself down next to her. She was in shock. lol She couldn't believe how quickly "karma" worked after I had given that girl in the rafters my other ticket. I squeed. lol

They herded us into the room where some of the Idols were hanging. Jason was in the center of the room, Archie was in front of the tv, watching the Olympics, Rami was sitting in a chair, Brook was working the room and... there were other idols there, but I didn't really notice. I was only there to see Jason. Although, I did talk a bit with Brooke. She's so sweet!

So, I tried to act like I was wandering around the room, but Jason has a certain pull to him. haha Finally, Alt and I got to talk to Jason a little more. Our conversation is kind of a blur, but I do remember tidbits.

I asked if he or his family had ever been to Maine. He didn't hear me, and said, "What's that?" and I think my brain went to mush for a second. haha I asked again, and he said, "Nooo, I haven't. This is the most I've ever traveled," and kind of laughed. I said, "Oh, well then you need to come when you do your own tour." I don't remember what his response was to this. Probably a "yeah" or something.

I asked what state they were going to next. He paused, and went, "I don't know....but it's somewhere that's like 5 hours away." I said, "Well, at least you can get some sleep, right?" He said, "I hope so, but it's kind of hard to sleep on the bus."

Somehow, we started talking about the tour/Maine again. Alt mentioned that Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is a good venue to play and that he would love it because it was right on the beach. He said, "In Maine?" Alt and I both said, "New Hampshire."He nodded and said, "Ohh."

I said something about having driven from Maine, to Worcester, to Manchester, and that I was going back to Maine that night. I paused and said, "....to see you." I couldn't remember what he said in response because all of a sudden I got very shy and couldn't look at him! And I think I got hysterical deafness or something. BUT Alt does remember and this is what she said,

"When you said that to Jason he said, 'Wow that's dedication' and was in awe and humbled. I totally remember because his expression was appreciation."

I think there was a little more conversation, but I can't remember it! Hopefully it will all come back to me. Jason said he was going to head outside to the fans out there, so we let him go.

I went outside after that, just in time to see Carly giving Jason a piggy back ride back to the buses! LOL! He was smiling that great big smile of his and waving to everyone.

True to form, he made me smile just like he did at the very first moment I saw him on AI.

I can't believe how full of life and happy and mellow and warm and gentle this guy is. I am honored to have met him and I am honored to have shared my story with y'all! Way-uhl. That's it!

Next stop, Providence!

Great story!! I was in Manchester as well.... afterparty too... amazing how you managed to get a pass! First time I hear of someone handing them out?! Where were they that they were doing that? And were they just giving them to random people?

No, he wasn't handing them out. Actually, he was being pretty dicreet with them. I think he was a radio guy or something. I just noticed that he had them in his hand, so I got brave and asked for one.

Ahhhhh hahaha. Well talk about being in the right place at the right time!! Wow.

Yeah, I was a little dazed in the afterparty, so I don't remember much. haha. It always makes me a bit sad though when I meet people on forums that were at the afterparty too.. I wish we all could have met earlier so we could have had some fun times together!

Hey ya'll, I went to the concert in Manchester, NH and I had a rockin' time. Hope you enjoy my recap !

My experience ...

SOOO, I got there around 12 o'clock, in the BLISTERING heat waiting for the Idols to come out ... Made a new friend, You guys probably saw her there, she was pretty hard to miss, she was "Miss elegance grande supreme" aahah, she wore her crown and sash and everything .. soo awesome. So we found out we were both Jason fans and decided to team up and scout the place for jason when he came out and inform each other . I got a picture with cook and brooke (that rhymes! haha) auto's from DA, MJ and KLC but what I really wanted was to meet jason, and I started thinking that was never going to happen becuase it was starting to rain pretty bad and kinda stormy, the sky looked really wicked that day, really cool clouds ... I was SUPER bummed by that point .. but me and my friend refused to leave! and then our dream came true .. I saw him coming out of the door, It felt like it happened in slow motion becuase It was so crazy after seeing pics of him and watching him on tv every tues/wed night, crazy unbelievable .. I was shocked ... and soaking wet .. hahaha. I got to meet him and take a picture with him, in that moment I was shaking soo hard I dont even remember what I said to him! In the picture I have of him and me, my friends think that we look like really good friends or something! sigh ... if only! He's such a great guy and soo good with his fans, No wonder why we like him so much eh?

The concert was incredible. Loved it. He connected with the audience soo well. But it's nothing you havent heard before so I'll keep myself from blabbing .. ahahaa:)

I was so sad I didn't get to meet Jason outside.. I would have loved a picture with him with his dreads down.. but it started to rain, I couldn't take my camera out in the rain, and we REALLY didn't think Jason was going to come out in the rain and risk frizzy hair!! hahaha. SO we left sadly We had afterparty passes so we knew we'd meet him later, but would have loved to meet him outside. jublefarkus rain! And it was soo beautiful all morning... and then bam. The weather just HAD to turn crappy!

Ok...here goes!!

Me and my friend Leah arrived at the arena at about 11:00 and there were already probably like 40 people there. It was a realllyyy hot and sunny day so we had our umbrella out to shade us from the hotness...didn't exactly work haha. So, then I'd say at around 12-ish? the security people came out to put the barriers up. We rushed over so we could get a good spot. We ended up being right near the door, so it was all good.

We waited, waited, and waited. The buses still were not there. I'm not sure exactly what time they came at (2-ish?), but when they did, everyone started screaming. It was so exciting! We saw David Cook with his red baseball hat waving to all of us from the bus area down below. Yay!

It seemed like forever before the first idol came out, but finally she did. Brooke was the first one out...she is the sweetest person ever! Then Kristy Lee Cook came out followed by David Cook. He went to the end of the line first and worked his way back towards the beginning so it was a while before we saw him, but he was so nice and spent a lot of time with each and every person.

Meanwhile, it started getting dark and cloudy, and you could tell that the rain was on its way! David Archuleta came out next, another sweet heart. He was just like how he was portrayed on the TV. Soo adorable!...but there was still no Jason, and I was afraid he wouldn't come out since the weather was not getting any better.

Everyone began to beg to the security people to have Jason come out. A little while later, he finally came!!! I don't really even remember too much about what he did at first since I was so excited. He spent a lot of time with each person, taking pics, signing autographs, talking, etc. When he finally came to us, he asked me where I got the little postcard that he was signing. (A lady was giving them out while we were waiting. Thanks!!) I told him about how I had received it, and he smiled as he read what it said. After he signed it, I asked him for a picture and of course, he said yes! I cannot imagine Jason saying no to anyone...he's so devoted to ALL of his fans!!

So after that excitement, we went out to grab something to eat at an amazing restaurant called Sho Gun. If you live around Manchester, you should go...its awesome! Next was the concert, and words cannot express how cool it was. We were sitting in section 119, so much fun! I think it was the best AI concert so far (compared to previous years). Jason was amazing and so was everyone else!

Sooo it was a lot of waiting in the beginning, but it was definitely all worth it in the end...Too much excitement for one day! haha

Awesome review! SO glad you got to meet Jason! It started to rain and my friend & I were sure Jason wasn't going to come out in the rain... dreads + rain = bad news. hahaha. So we were in our friend's car while Jason was out We saw him in the afterparty so it was all good, but it would have been great to get some pics of him outside...

SQUEEE OMG I met Jason.

I was at the bus stalking and NO JASON. It was raining and thundering but I refused to budge. Then a roar and out came our boy. Typical Jason fell asleep and no one woke him so he was late. I gave him my presents and got a picture.

So I was thrilled. But I had after party passes again. The radio station got me new ones. This after party was organized. So we walk in and there was Jason. Surrounded. But I went up and just hugged him HAHA. My friends got few pictures of this. Jason and I talked about his music and the gifts I gave him. SQUEEEEEEEE

He is more beautiful live.

So much more beautiful and funny... and sweet.

I now know what being on cloud 9 feels like.

Ok the show. First half pretty much the same as Worcester.

Second half different in crowd response. The crowd was bat shirt for Cook and JASONNNNN. Yep Jason had the 2nd amount of screaming. Oh course I did my part and am now horse.... No voice shot gone. I have Jason's entire set video. I was close and it looks good. May need help getting it out of my camera and on youtube. Never did this before.

Lots of pictures. My friends humored me and took pictures while I video taped. One picture my friend Nic too at the buses is GORGEOUS.

Anyway, once my friends get the pictures to me I will post them. Could be a day or two.

I am on cloud 9.

Exhausted but ecstatic.

Oh my goodness!!!! I met him too!!!! Ahhhhh!! I can't get over ittt!!

I got to the Verizon Center around noon, and waited like an hour and a half. (I met Scooter! That was great meeting a fellow dreadhead in person! )
Finally the busses arrived! After about 15 minutes Brooke came out! I love Brooke, she is like the sweetest person ever! (besides Jason of course..) But I got her autograph, and Archie, Cookie and Michael Johns came out and I got their autograph too. I was like were is Jason!! I was thinking that because of the storm the security guards would not let them come out, and I was like ahh I waited all this time for Jason and he didn't even come out!
It started to rain even harder and I was so sad when he didn't show, so I was gonna give it another half hour because they had meet and greet soon anyway. And finally, after waiting in the thunder and lightning, and rain, (and me needing to go to the bathroom!!!) he came out!!! I was a nervous wreck the whole time waiting for him to come out, I was shaking and everything, but when he came out, I was not as nervous! He has such a calming effect! It turns out he had fallen asleep! hahahaha typical Jason!!
I watched him come down the line and he got closer and closer and I couldn't even believe he was right there. Jason Castro was right next to me! I didn't think I would even be able to get his autograph, I was so nervous, but he got in front of me and I knew I needed one!
I scooted to the front to try to get his attention, and he started to move down the row. But as he was moving down (he wasn't reallly far away since everyone wanted his autograph haha!) he glanced back at me and looked right at me, and he kept looking back at me, and he walked back and right up to me!!! I put the Rockwall Herald Banner newspaper with him, out in front of me and managed to ask him if he could sign this. He said "Suuure!" And he took the paper and looked at it and goes, "Ohh! This is cool! Have I ever seen this before?" And he looks at it all puzzled, and I was about to blurt out "It was in your date night video!" But I was to caught up with the fact that Jason was right there!
I asked him for a picture and he said "yeah sure!" and he leans in close to me, and I felt his whole body against mine, and his dreads where on my cheek!!! I basically dieeeed!
I said thank you and started to move, and my mom who took the picture says "Thank you Jason!" and he looks right at her and goes "Yeah!"

It was the best day ever! Sooooo worth the wait through the rain!! He is so great! Even better in person, I couldn't stop staring at his face! His features are even more beautiful in person!! I am still in awe of it all...

I went before the show to meet them. I was standing about 50 feet over from the door they came out of. I was next to Jenele(sorry if I spelt that wrong!) and a bunch of other Jason fans!
Where were you?

awesome. i am so glad that you guys got to meet him. Sounds kinda like me, i wasnt going to move either until I knew for sure that Jason wasnt coming out. Hehehehe...cant see the pics though. It may just be me, dont know though.

it was last night and i still feel so happy !
okayy
he was so cuteee and i didn't believe people when they said jason is more gorgeous in person, but wow they were right!
heres my pic!

and like other peoplee were saying , i was scared he wasn't going to come out because of the storm, and alot of peoplee left, so me and my friend went up front and i saww him and i was soo happy:) ahh like you cant describe the feelingg!
and then i waited after the show and i met him again and got his autographhh!
i alsoo met david cook and michael johns

i asked him for a pic and i was wearing my jason shirt and he said " no sorry only if your wearing a david cook shirt" haha he was kidding obviously though hha
i didnt get my pic with Michael but i talked to him, he was sweet. me and my friends were asking him for pics and he said he would on his way back, so me and my friend just went and followed him down the line and we asked and he just smiled and said " your smart!" hah soo it started raining and i never got my pic with him but oh well!

i took tons of pics at the concerttt though
ahhhh BEST DAYYY EVERRR
i got everyones autographs except chikezi, he never came out, neither did ramiele, i didnt get david cooks(pictures are better hah) or MJ's

To post a pic in your MySpace comment, copy that LONG code (it has a href in it), Be sure, though, that you resize your pic to have a width of less than 300 or your pic will be huge and you will feel dumb (been there, done that).

Ok, so this is my tour/Jason experience---


So me and my friend drove from Southern Maine to the concert in Manchester. We left a little later than I had wanted but we got there at the PERFECT TIME. We walk to a big group of people behind the Verizon Wireless Center and my friend yells "Oh my God, theres David Archuletta!!! (Shes a David/David fan). So David/David and Brooke were out there first. David and Brooke were next to eachother RIGHT in front of us and David C. says to Brooke, "Hey you wanna switch hats?" So they switch hats and I got a really funny picture of them. (I'll post them all later) Then Michael Johns comes out and it starts to spinkle. I got kind of sad because I thought that no one else was going to come out and I really really wanted to meet Jason. Me and my friend were going to leave, but I said to her "I'll be so bummed if I leave and Jason comes out and I end up missing my chance." So we wait for a little while longer in the rain and FINALLY Jason comes out. He is GORGEOUS. Wow. So hes getting closer and closer and I keep snapping picures. Then he gets to me. I ask him to sign a piece of paper that I had, and then I asked if I could have my picture taken with him. He said "Yeah, of course!" We lean together and OUR FACES TOUCH. I almost died right then and there. Woah.

---So the concert. We arrive and get our seats. We were in the nose bleed section but the arena wasn't huge so the seats weren't that bad. THEN GET THIS-I see a lady with a light blue tank top on that says "Unique, Undeniable, Jason" walking in the row in front of me. She stops in front of me and my friend and asks-"Are either of you Jason Castro fans?" I say "YES I AM! I LOVE HIM" Then she says "Well I have this extra ticket in the second row, and I wanted to give it to a Jason fan if you want it." I immediately say "YES PLEASE!" I go from the nose bleed section to the SECOND row FOR FREE. Me, out of all the possible people in the area. I feel so lucky!!! I waited until after intermission to sit in my seat because she only had one and I didn't want to leave my friend alone for the entire concert. So intermission comes and I find my seat. I was literally like 10 feet from the stage. I watch Jason sing his three songs perfectly and get some pretty good pictures of him. Then the group number comes on and hes really close to me, and I wave to him and he smiles and waves back! The night was so awesome!!

That's so cool!! When he leaned in to take the picture with me his dreads and cheek touched my cheek too! It was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I was like ahhh!!

Hi to my new friends Marleysmom, Altrock, Sadieee, and Rockinmom,

My internet has beendown since the huge storm we had Sunday night!Thanks to my husband he bought a new modem tonight!

So I got to meet Jason!!
He is beautiful! He hugged me twice, the first time we missed and my face went into his dreads, he said, "lets try that again"! Then He signed the back of my shirt.

I took so many pictures of him I felt like such a stalker!

Here's my picture with him, I look awful, oh well, It was raining.

I have Jason's entire set video. I was close and it looks good. May need help getting it out of my camera and on youtube. Never did this before.

Lots of pictures. My friends humored me and took pictures while I video taped. One picture my friend Nic too at the buses is GORGEOUS.

Anyway, once my friends get the pictures to me I will post them. Could be a day or two.

I am on cloud 9.

Exhausted but ecstatic.

well I'm still afloat and haven't stopped talking about it.

I had a fantastic seat! Row 4, two seats away from the catwalk...
I could almost touch them; can't believe I left my camera at home!

CRAZY was crazy good! Jason's expressions during the group number
were so precious......kind of like watching your own kid in a school play!
