OK so I took video of Jason's entire set and will try to upload it tonight or in the morning depending on when my eyesight completely goes hazy. I'll give you a way-too-detailed description of the bus stalking first:
I met up with tons of dreadheads right away, who were awesome. I am totally pathetic and can't afford a Jason Castro shirt and was wearing just a plain old green tank top, so I totally didn't fit in, but it's all good. There were no castrocopians there:(, which I could have met Jules!! We waited till about 2:15
2:15 came and Kristy Lee Cook and David Archuleta came out. I chased around trying to get an autograph from David (I was trying to get something from anyone) but they were just speeding through the line and really only getting to people who were right up at the gates and no one who was behind anyone else. David did seem incredibly nice to everyone though, and his eyes are beautiful. I'm not a huge fan, but that kid has amazing green eyes that you just don't realize on TV.
I did get my picture taken with Kristy Lee Cook but it came out horribly so I probably won't post it. She seemed in a big hurry, and kind of stressed out, but nice.
Around 3 PM Michael Johns came out. He was super nice and tried to go a little more slowly through the line, and a bunch of the dreadheads got his autograph and he said hey to the dreadheads for the videocameras quite a few times. He left and came back later to try to get through to more people, but then security rushed him off for more press and he had to go.
David Cook came out. He tried to take his time, but everyone was being really rushed. People kept coming and speeding them along. David Cook wanted to thank all the dreadheads for giving money to support the american cancer society, I remember they gave a gift to the american cancer society in honor of his brother. He seemed to like the dreadheads a lot and seemed very nice actually. Kind of a goofball...
Ramiele Malubay was the last person I met. She was incredibly sweet, and so tiny. She autographed my shirt (the only person who did). She was so nice to everyone.
Oh yeah, and Brooke came out but was going really slowly trying to get everyone in the line, and got pulled out about 1/3 of the way through by the handlers. Poor thing, some guy pulled her arm and her eyes got so big and she was so shocked looking....and then they were pulling her down the line and she was frantically waving goodbye as they virtually shoved her into the building. It was ridiculous.
So yeah, they said Jason and others may come out again at 4 but nobody showed.
There was this handler/security guy who had been wandering around the place and kept trying to get Jason out for the dreadheads, he said that Jason was stuck with press, meet and greets, and then sound checks. He said he was with Jason in the elevator and Jason seemed really, really nervous (aww). He also said that he had a 'hell of a voice'. This guy also said a lot of the kids seemed to be having a rough time. He said that they were 'just kids' and the schedule is really hectic. He said Kristy Lee Cook would go between being really happy and sobbing in the next minute, and they're just worn out:( So I felt bad for them. He said David Archuleta was really nice (no big surprise) and he actually forwarded a picture of him to my sister's cell phone that he had taken while he was hanging out I guess.
So yeah, those are the bus stalking details. I'll make a new post for the concert details because I feel like this will be too long for one post.

Well at least one of our signs and balloons made it on the news today! It's way too late and I'm way too exhausted, so will post more later!

So Jason was sent a box of panties at the start of the tour. heheh Even before someone threw a pair of bright pink panties up onto the stage for David Cook this week. Thanks for the clip, J9BT !

Well here it goes My Tour Experience -
I'd been prepping for this Big Day since May and it was finally here. I knew I was going to have a late start
getting to the Arena but I was still hopeful today might be a late Meet and Greet for the fans.
Most of the day I was texting fellow Dreadhead and Head Jersey Girl, J9BT because she was there early in the day
and wondering where I was. BTW_ thank you J9BT for everything. Getting the gift for Jason, getting us maps and coordinating every last detail.
We also had a Birthday Girl, Cathy there very early. Finally around 2 pm we are on our way. By this time my DH friends tell me
the 6 of the Idols have come out but NO JASON! so I'm so excited that maybe I can still make it if they come out again.
We arrive and there are a few Jason fans still lingering so my friend and I join them with our poster and cameras ready to go. Very soon it gets very hot. Many of these people have been there for over 5 hours waiting. All the while I'm thinking he has to come out. A few of the security guards came over to us to ask who we want to come out. Wow in one loud cry we all yell JASON! Gee, you'd think this was a one man show. While we are waiting News 12 comes by and interviews some of the fans. That was fun. It was so great meeting so many Dreadheads they have to be kindest, friendliest bunch you ever want to meet. But by 4:30, the security guy comes back and tell us he can't get a yes or no about Jason coming out. He was rehearsing or doing interviews and it didn't look good at this point. My friend and I give up and realize we aren't going to see him today... well not up close and personal anyway.
I was so hoping to have a great post here the day after the show but unfortunately I don't.
So we grab our husbands who were so patiently waiting far away form the Dreadhead gang and we went to dinner.
By 6:30 we are heading into the Prudential Building sharing stories with other Jason fans we meet along the way. Wow I knew so much about the show because of DDB (keeping us in the know) people were asking us all kinds of things it was really funny.
The show-
Well we had to get through the Poptart guy but he did get the crowd pumped.
Chikezie- he was great! Better than I remember from the show. He was so confident and full of energy. What a way to start the show.
Ramiele- So cute. I always liked her. Her voice was strong and she strutted around the stage. I was filming short clips of her and of Chikeze being careful not
to use up my battery before my boy came out.
Next up Michael- I thought he did an amazing job. He is quite the performer. At this point, I'm feeling like OK I didn't drag my poor hubby to
a cheesy show. He really has a strong stage presence and I loved his set.
Here was the main reason my husband agreed to go to the show...... out struts Kristy- Yeah she looked amazing so now hubby is having a great time. He grabs the
camera from me for full zoom. She was good. He thought she was the Bomb!
Carly- not one of my favs during AI but she had some decent songs and I enjoyed her set. Would I go to a one of her concerts NO!
Brooke- by this time my heart is racing in anticipation of our boy coming out after the break! I'm thinking oh no I need to run to the bathroom, but I don't want to miss one second of
Jason on stage. I was hoping to duck out during David Cook's extra long set. But well that wasn't going to happen. So Brooke was sweet and sang well but I just couldn't get into it.
After Brooke the Top 6 do a Idol gives back number and announce Michael Johns as if he is the start. It's all a bit weird. The subject is somber yet they are singing. Oh well again I'm not into any of this part.
Then it's the break - it would be very helpful if they let you know how long this break was going to be. So by now I have to run out and hope I don't miss his arrival. I was back in a flash. Got to see him bangin on the drums in the Guitar Hero commercial.
THEN.......the annoying Guitar Hero guy/ PopTart guy is doing some Air Guitar thing with 2 kids one of which is scared out of his mind and the other was fine but this is very hard for me to sit though. The guy finally stops talking which left us Dreads no time to chant for our boy.
Lights out and then there he was on stage. By now my husband is in full charge of the filming and my friends husband has the camera. I need to have my full attention on Jason!
The whole world melted away there he was finally. talking to us about how he loves this song.. Oh we do to too Jason!!!! i almost forgave him for not coming out.
Then he tells us about the book he just finished and he is just the most wonderful perfect human being ever. I can't believe it's really him only 30 feet away. AAHHHHHH!
I loved every precious momnet of his set. It was just way too short. He can't walk around like the others but I wonder if he would anyway. This was so worth waiting for. I just don't know why his set seemed so much shorter than the others. He doesn't introduce Shyesha or anything extra. He comes out late in the last group number. So that is my big gripe. Not enough Jason.
Oh No Shyesha- I had to hold me ears for the last song. That 's all I'm gonna say about that.
The Davids-
Archie- wow he was fantastic. I loved his songs. He is cute. Great performance.
Cook- Too long, Too loud, too much eyeliner and just too full of himself. I swear at one point he was telling us to stand up. Ahh No!
On to the group number. I'm glad I had seen other clips of this and I knew where to point the camera for maximum Jason viewing. Again too short. But he was looking good. He opted for the boots ( yummy my fav!) and lost the red shoes. He looked like he was having a great time.
Then it was over.
I'm so glad we went.
I hope some of you girls got to stay after and meet him. Please let us know.
Thanks J9BT for sharing the news clip ....great poster!
Loved meeting all of you.

Fragilesheart experience:
Thanks j9bt and Glortovato cathyanne lakendar, everybody for making July 30th a memeorable day
I got there 1pm, drove past the dreadheads with their blue shirts, posters, baloons and large numbers. No other idol had so many fans.
parked in the pre-paid VIP lot, right above the silver buses, I felt so close and yet so far, as it proved later.
We didn't wait long until some of the idols starting to show up, Kristy,MJ,Cook,Archuleta,Ramielle, and MJ again who spent alot of time there and he told us thet no other will come until show time.
Of course we were very dissapointed but still hopefull that Jason will make a dash for us. News Fox showed up with Tony senecal filming and chatting with us. She was obviously surprised that Jason had most fans, we kept chanting Jason,Jason, she was asking how come he didn't win if he had so many fans.
She spent a lot of time with us.
After waiting until 5PM,the sec.guard who was friendly to us told us that we should go,he is not coming.
Glotrovato made reservations at VIP restaurant, so we all went inside and had a good time; They brought a piece of cake/candle for CathyAnn, we all sang happy b-day.
On to the show:
I Loved jason, but way to short, it goes by in an instant.
The others go on and on, Jason's voice is unbelievable, he is the only one not drowned by the band, his vocals clear and perfect.
He said something about abook he finished, did anybody get what book was that?
People gave him a very good reception, he was well liked and loved. I loved all 3 songs, but Crazy and daydream were awesome.
The others I only liked MJ,Brooke,Archuleta and some Cook.
Sysesha screams,Carly's songs were OK, the rest OK.
After show we go back to our watch post, but unfortunately they came out were we originally waited at noon. I got Jason's autograph on my camera(my daughter got it for me), on an ipod and on my shirt.
When he signed my shirt I said Thank you,he looked at me with that angelic face and said realy meaning it, Thank you!!
He was taking a picture and hugging a girl in fron of me, very close, I could've touched him, but I was completely frozen. My daughter had the camera and she was searching for Cook, but I didn't dare ask for a hug.
Now I see what everybody says thet you want to tell him so many things but when you get to see him, words fail you.
I am really sad that I didn't get a picture with him,but at least he looked at me.. He is so skinny, and he has an aura which I cannot describe, you feel something uplifting in his presence. I watched him getting inside the building andchatting with the security guard as he was going to the buses, and felt something dying inside me. I really hope we get to meet him someday in a smaller setting, and get to talk to him and hear him sing longer.
Sorry for the long post,

Wow, I didn't know my post from castrocopia would be posted here!! Anyway, just wanted to say it was such a pleasure meeting with the dreadheads yesterday. I guess I am both a castrocopian AND a dreadhead now, because I got my official dreadhead number in my e-mail today. I don't remember everyone's names, but thanks Janine for bringing all the soda and water, and I loved you all! Hope we can find another time to hang out:)
Me and my sister went back around 5:30-6:30 and sat outside where all the security was because we were waiting for a friend to arrive to give a ticket to. That's when I got to talk to this security guy, he said he would try to get a picture of Jason and send it to my sister's cell phone so hopefully I can get one to post.
Anyway, thanks again for welcoming me to your group! Hope some of you got the chance to meet him!!

Hope everyone had an incredible experience to spite him not coming out b4 the show. I'm sure it's disappointing but sometimes unavoidable too.

Yes I am disapointed but I have an inner joy just from being in the same arena with him.
He is so special and his goodness just shines through everthing he sings and says. His voice is magical and pure and I could listen to him all day!
I can just hope there will be another time I can see him but I'm not thinkin anytime soon.
One other quick and funny story that happened yesterday.
We walked to a resturant about 5 blocks from the arena and we are walking to the table and these 2 total
strangers srand up and yell out " LOOK she has a Jason shirt on" I walked over to them and they both gave me big hugs. Now this kind of thing
doesn't just happen to me everyday. But we Jason fans are so alike. So fun!

I had a great time yesterday at the July 30th show. Even though we waited for hours in the hot sun & humidity and Jason didn't get to come out before the show :-\ was so fun meeting so many of my fellow Dreadhead friends and getting the attention from the news was great too. ;D At lease some of us was able to see him and get autographs and pics after the show.
He was so gracious and sweet with everyone he passed by even when it was still very hot and humid out and I'm sure he was very tired. He's such a beautiful person and he does pay attention to you when you talk to him and has that special spirit and light that shines from him. Was well worth the long wait for just that quick minute
Here's a couple pics...

I'm going to the A.C. show with my hubby this weekend cause he wants to see them too so hopefully I'll have more time to see Jason and get some better pics during show cause was too dark last night in that arena. We're going to make a fun weekend out fo that trip

So as you are all aware, yesterday was my 59th birthday!!
I was not planning on going to see the American Idol tour but at the last minute I made the decision to go. Having bought my tickets elsewhere, one of my Dreadhead sisters offered me the opportunity to go to the show on my birthday. Since I really haven’t celebrated my birthday in a few years, I figured “why not?”
For those of you that personally know me, “celebrity” to me is just a word. The industry itself is filled with temptation and pitfalls is not the best environment for your soul, but with Christ who strengthens us, we can do all things. Many celebrities think they are better than everyone else. I view people as people, not because of the career choice they made or the amount of money they make, but for the person they are. God touches my heart concerning certain people for different reasons, I enjoy listening to them as artists, but God is moving through all this.
That all being said, LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT MY MOST EXCELLENT BIRTHDAY ADVENTURE!!
I will try to be as brief as I can without leaving out details.
I arrived in Newark, NJ (a major crime-ridden city that I would not prefer going to) at 10am in the morning because I was on a mission to meet, speak, and pray with Jason Castro. Jason, as Bucky Covington, are two people that the Lord has spoken to my heart about and are included in my prayers. Jason is a grounded Christian committed to service in Christ.
Well, the artists (they call them idols and I so hate that name because I will not put false idols before my God, so I will call them artists), came our to sign autographs and take pictures, but it was like were in warp speed mode. David A just ran thru the line signing whatever was laying on the barricade in front of him and did not connect with anyone that I could see -- it was like “there he goes” and he was very nervous being out with the crowd. Kristy signed and took a few pictures but she too went extremely fast. Ramiele was a little slower and very sweet and talked a little. Michael Johns was himself -- quick and with ‘tude. (I might have some on video) Cookie took his time and actually when he realized we were the Dreadheads, he stopped and said he wanted to thank us “very much for donating to the Cancer Society in his brother’s name.” That was very nice of him.
So, the rest did not come outside which meant NO JASON. Well, the way I try to live my life is to trust in the Lord and if it doesn’t happen despite my efforts, it isn’t supposed to happen! On a personal level, I was a little disappointed, and sunburned, and bad hair day from humidity, and sweaty.. you get the picture.. from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. God did use me during that time and there were several people God allowed me to speak with that I felt was one reason I was there.
Well, at 5:30, thanx to Glo, we had a private party of about 30 DH’s and they celebrated my birthday. I got cake, a song, and a gift! Thank you everyone, especially Janine and Glo for making all of the possible! (By the time pictures we taken, I was a mess and I think I look like 100 years old -- trust me, not good lol)
So, we saw the concert, which was really good. I was pretty surprised at what each artist brought to the table in their own style. My most favorite part and the part I would be there for whether or not anyone else performed, was Jason Castro’s set -- but it flew by -- too too short. Surely, Jason will have a long career. I did get a security person come over and tell me to stop recording or they would confiscate my video camera -- so I think I may have caught a little of the set on the video, but people were walking back to their seats and I had to move etc so it is not good. I will take a look at it at some point.
Do not be fooled, there is a major force of prayer warriors behind the scenes praying for Jason Castro and his fans. They were praying for me yesterday as well and I thank all my sister prayer warriors for pressing in and for telling me to press in.
We had made good connections with some important security people at the venue, but the arrangements were changing from minute to minute so things became very unorganized as far as where we should go to see Jason when he comes out. I have brought a few special things for him and I wanted to also make sure that he got them, I got my birthday hug, and I was able to pray for him. By the time Jason came out there were THOUSANDS of screaming fangirlys. What craziness! I have to say, poor poor Jason, to have to do this every day and night and keep the tight schedule and perform on little sleep, it must be grueling. Some of the fans were a little nasty too in order to be able to get to him. My heart went out to him and I pray that this “boot camp” will not be indicative of his life. Even though a lot of it is his new life, I think he will work with God to work it all out.
So, we waited where security told us to wait and Jason came out the other way and it was a true madhouse. I knew that if God wanted me see him, he would work it out. I went up to a point of the line where I saw Jason coming to and it was about minimum 5 people deep!! I waited for a quiet moment and I lifted up the bag I had with the items I wanted him to have and called out to him. He responded to what I said to him and we actually had a discussion about the items and he said thank you. I asked him if I could have his hand a minute because I was too far away from him to reach in and lay hands on him. I pressed in and reached his hand and began praying for him. He stopped and he appeared to be praying as well. He thanked me sincerely.
My sister DH’s were so sweet to me and they wanted me to get my birthday hug so about 20 minutes later, Glo pulled me into the line and held up the sign asking for a birthday hug. I think Janine was there too at that time and helped, but it went so fast. They chanted “birthday hug, birthday hug”. He looked up at the sign and said “Birthday Hug” and leaned in and gave me a hug. I said something to him about what I had previously given to him and said to me “thank you again so much.” One of the girls said get him to sign something so I gave him a picture of him to sign and he did. He makes sure to make eye contact and to connect with you as a person, not as a deli number.
My mission was to support Jason, give him the things I felt I should be giving him and to pray with him. I didn’t ask, get or take any pictures as that was not my goal. Later on I was able to get a little bit of him on video but very little.
I am thankful to Jason for even coming out to greet the fans and have to go through the battleground of sorts, what a sweet guy and running on probably very little sleep (Bucky, remember those days?)
Before the night was over, one of the security guards actually gave me his “all access” backstage pass at the end of the night as a birthday gift, but made me promise that I would not use it to go inside the building. I promised him “Jesus Honor” and I didn’t go.
I would have liked to see Chickeze who I understand loves the Lord but maybe next time.
So, thank you to all the friends I met yesterday from DDB, Castrocopia, and Myspace and in general. It was my MOST EXCELLENT BIRTHDAY ADVENTURE ever! WHOOP!
Jason, thank you for being a willing vessel. You are in our prayers!
Thank you for a great birthday!
p.s. I wrote one recap for all my friends so I know you know some of the stuff about the shows, but my other friends don't
thank you everyone for taking pictures!
and I enjoyed meeting everyone of you and having our special conversations... you know who you are
EDIT .... ABOUT THE PICTURES. Yes, I wanted pictures, and we even tried to get some pictures. I meant, I didn't ask him for pictures because I didnt feel it was the right timing and that was not my goal. He was way too tired, too rushed, etc. My heart just wanted to comfort him and and yet I also wanted to connect with him.

My really good friend, met Jason last night and she said he is better looking in person and sooooo charming. She had after party passes. She also said Jason is the most charming on stage of all Idols. That he is just priceless the way he interact with the crowd. Yikes how can that kid be better looking in person. He is beautiful in pictures and on TV.
My friend is a Cook fan so for her to say Jason was better looking and the most charming, he had to be.
Knowing me if I will get to meet Jason in person, I will go deaf and mute and become dumb as as door nail. That is what happened when I met Chris the first time. Super Spaz...
My friend was really in awe of Jason's skin and how it is so beautifully colored. Like a mocha latte with some grenadine in it. Rosy and olive. His eyes the most intensely beautiful blue eyes she has ever seen. Light blue centers rimmed in royal blue. Lashes 2 inches long she swears. Skinny as a rail though. Broad Shoulders and a T back and nice muscles in his arms. But to thin. rainbow someone give the boy some food.
She said that Jason had a huge response. One of the best and she felt it was equal with the Davids. His set was incredible. He sounds better live. That 19 is dumb if they can't see that Jason is a star. In her opinion only Cook, Archie, Jason were great the stars of the show and Carly was good to. The rest not good at all. Sy was the worst though, really pitchy and voice cracking.

He stopped and I appeared to be praying as well. He thanked me sincerely.
My sister DH’s were so sweet to me and they wanted me to get my birthday hug so about 20 minutes later, Glo pulled me into the line and held up the sign asking for a birthday hug. I think Janine was there too at that time and helped, but it went so fast. They changed “birthday hug, birthday hug”.
Before the night was over, one of the security guards actually gave me his “all access” backstage pass at the end of the night as a birthday gift, but made me promise that I would not sue it to go inside the building. I promised him “Jesus Honor” and I didn’t go.
I would have like to see Chickeze who I understand loves the Lord but maybe next time.
So, thank you to all the friends I met yesterday from DDB, Castrocopia, and Myspace and in general. It was my MOST EXCELLENT BIRTHDAY ADVENTURE ever! WHOOP!
Jason, thank you for being a willing vessel. You are in our prayers!

I had After Party passes and got to meet Jason. Poor Jason was so exhausted it was ridiculous. When all the people were done getting pics and autographs, which my friend and I just watched while Jason was trying so hard to smile for each pic. It was sad to watch! Finally we went up to him to just chat, he is so sweet but finally I asked him if he was all right, he said he was excited because Mandy was coming today but that he was soooo tired. We talked for a little while longer, he disappeared for a few minutes and when he came back there were not very many fans left, so I went back up to him to talk a little more. We talked about his Mom and Jackie coming in and how happy he was to be seeing them. Most important to him was Mandy, he is thrilled she is coming! I just wanted to send him to the hotel to sleep, but the poor guy had to do the outside line, which is a total madhouse. I hope he got some rest and is having a wonderful day today with his girlfriend and family!
In case you all hadn't noticed, Jason is extraordinary looking, his eyes (especially being tired) are turquoise blue and his skin is like velvet. He looks you right in the eyes when you are speaking to him. It is hard to stay focused looking at those eyes!

I'm so sorry to know that they are that tired at this time of the tour. In fact yes, they are only kids and the tour it is very exhausting.
But Jason has an inner power that you can feel from where you are (standing in fron of him or listenign to him in the audience of the arena).
I'm so glad for the ones who met Jason after the show!!! The whole thing of seeing him coming is just something COMPETELY EXCITING!!! I can feel your excitement.
Cathy Anne, what a wonderful Birthday!!! You totally deserved that hug! ;D

CathyAnne, you're such an encouragement!! Thanks for such a special report and I'm so glad that someone has told about reaching in to pray for this young man!! I know he's prayed for and has many praying for him faithfully, and we can't stop...those prayers are the fuel thats keeping him going! But what a testimony of the reality of God for someone to reach in and pray for him visably and see Jason recieve it! Someone step out and keep this up at each venue...he needs the strength that will come from that....thats my mission for KC and giving him a book that addresses his life fear of wasting his life!

Happy birthday! How sweet and special to pray not only for but with Jason and I'm sure the gifts you gave him were very special. You are right in saying there are many of us praying for him and the decisions he makes. God will direct him and bless him. I'm glad he is going to be with his family and Mandy. I'm sure he will enjoy it so much and maybe he can get some good sleep and down time.
