This is such a pretty song and I can really relate to it. My husband used to travel a lot, especially in the first years of our marraige. Sometimes we we're apart for a month or two and I missed him so much. This song reminds me of all those times I stood in the airport tearing up as we said goodbye.

Now this one is my favorite. As I posted on the other new song threads, I can't choose just one for a favorite. TENDER AND SWEET is this one. Not counting that I love the Tulsa songs too. Am I crazy? I don't think so. I think Jason's songs are all that good. Usually, I will only really like one or two songs on an album and the rest will be just so so. But , I really do love all of his songs. He is a very talenteed songwriter. Plus his voice is beautiful.

I love everyones sentiment, and moonlite I agree about the throw back sound. From the beginning it reminded me of the 60's sound. I think of the new ones, this is my favorite. Like everyone, I love them all and I'm not sure why this one stands out for me. I'm wondering if it's because it was the first to come thr on video the night of the concert so I've had a few more listens to it. I do love the line "goodbye has got to be the cruelest word" and then put my bf in Afghanistan and it kind of hits close to home. I don't know, whatever the reason... I LOVE IT!

This is my second favorite. "Matter of Time" is my fave of the 3, but i still like this one alot too. It has a 60's feel to it. The very beginning reminds me of The Doors, not sure what song. And the lyrics are very sweet and sad too-to be that devoted to someone is just almost tragic, "I"ll wait all my life for just another day, another chance to touch you."

Certain artists have songs that seem to strike a chord with our soldiers overseas and I see this one having that same capability. I don't know how to get it to them, but I think they'd really relate to it.

You know, the USO tour visits a lot of troops. Jason might be interested in doing something like that to help out, but I don't know how his "new home with Atlantic Records" would feel about it.

So funny, this song natually makes me think of my honey in Afganistan. I think it would be great if Jason did that tour but YOU KNOW we would ALL worry like mother hens! *lol*

Rosequeen, the song reminded me of the 60's also. A happy vibe that makes me think of The Lovin' Spoonful. A sort of jugband sound, like they had. The song is beautiful.

The melody of this song stays in my mind all day. It is so original ..... like it's creator. I just love it so much. I find myself humming it at work. That little guitar twang just gets me everytime I hear it. I love all his songs but this is my favorite of the new A&M songs.
