our first taste of one of Jason's new ones, not sure of the official title but right now it's being called: I'll wait for you. Thanks Millie for the upload:

The first rough draft of lyrics: Anyone wanna add, correct, change?
Well I tried, tori helped but: Realmccoy at copia came up with the lyrics to I'll Wait for You.
I'll Wait For You Do you really have to go - she said, The sun is sinking like a stone Too many nights till you come back - she says Will you really wait for me that long yeaaah
Chorus Well I‘ll wait all my life For just another day another chance to touch you and To hold you close to me for just a little while The time it never slows but I, I’ll wait for you-oooh Oh I, I’ll wait for you
I wish I never had to leave your side I wish this night would never end The cruelest word has got to be - goodbye The cruelest time is - until then yeaaaah
Chorus
Maybe this time I won’t ask tonight Oh and Maybe I’d be fine if I could only hear you say That I’d wait all my life for just another day Another chance to touch you and To hold you close to me for just a little while The time it never slows but I, I’ll wait for you-oooh Oh I, I’ll wait for you
I’ll wait, I’ll wait for you.

If you just read the lyrics, it kinda reminds me of something the Cure would write!! Robert Smith is known as a great writer and artist. Jason's turing out some really awesome stuff!!!

I am more in love with this song than I can possibly express in words... I've listened to it at least 50 times and can't get enough of it. It's my favorite of the 'new songs' by a mile. Not that I don't love the others, but this one has just done something to me that I can't even understand myself, much less try to explain.

This is my new favorite song! At the A&M concert, it was so neat to see the audience respond to Jason`s enthusiasm! How is he going to choose which ones to put on the album? They are all so good. Jason has really grown this past year....great job, Jason!

It's early days for listening, but of the three new ones, this is the one that made the biggest initial impact on me. It just stole my heart with it's poignancy, "the cruelest word has got to be ~ goodbye" awe It has a beautiful melody & I love the way the song is structured, the space before "she said", etc; I find it a really touching song, with lovely lyrics that contrast the insecurity & optimism of young love Listening to the overall structure, melody, coupled with "Oh-oh-oh I" & You-oo-ooh"'s etc... I get a real throw-back vibe from it, it's taken me back to music sounds/styles from around the late 50's/early 60's, when there was a greater sense of innocence and simplicity, reflected in music & lyrics. So yeah, for me, this song seems to really capture the essense of that era ~ it's lovely, thank you
