.... I really find Jason's music so amazing... all the lyrics to the songs are so perfectly perfect and sometimes I listen to them and just randomly start crying because they are really beautiful. And crying is crazy for me because I am not a "wimp" at all, not even when i get smacked around in self defense class. His music really grasps my soul and I love it so much! Its not that it is sad, just that the lyrics are really pure and perfect...and he is the 1st musician that has even been able to make me literally cry because of it. So he takes the spot of my #1 all time favorite musician. I am SO captivated and amazed by him, and I don't think thats ever going to change. Ever!!!!
What does his music do to you??? Am I the only one this happens to?

It calms me down when I'm stressed, it makes me smile when I'm sad, and yes...sometimes it does make me cry!

it makes me cry, he shows how strongly in love he is with his words and how much he misses her. it's both happy and not sad but happy sad....lol u know what i mean, like awww i know how he is feeling, it's both good and bad, bad because we can't be together but happy because we are together emotionally although we cannot not be physically.....lol ok i am rambling, do u get it though?

Well when I listen to his songs I get lost in the melody and lyrics as he is singing and it also makes me not think of work or my so called boring life. Lol I simply enjoy it im never gonna get tired of any of his songs. Some of the somgs I fall in love with them and they make me think of so many wonderful things just for those 3 to4 mins. Then I come back which is weird not every atirst does this. He talks about love in every sense and also being sad so all in all he can tell some sord of a story with every song and I can't wait to hear more

Jason's songs create joy and a soulful feeling in me. I love to daydream and when the singer is Jason the words are worth listening to as his caring heart & personality seem to shine and make everything more meaningful. It is heard to put wonderful into words but Jason personifies so many different things to all his fans.

Jason's music makes me happier than I've ever been in my life. It makes me believe in myself, and that there's always something better out there, you just have to find it. It has changed my life. All my friends think I'm a maniac because I'm always saying this, but they just don't get it. And yes, his singing makes me cry almost every time I listen to it. My family now think I have severe depression because I'm always crying but they don't realise that those times are when I'm happiest. Jason is my inspiration. THANK YOU JASON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  xXx |

His song just make me feel really good, whatever mood I'm in. When I'm at work and feel stressed I put on his music and I just feel less stressed. When I'm sad his music cheers me up and puts a smile on my face again. When I'm cleaning house it makes the time go by faster and I am actually singing and enjoying myself as I clean. When I'm stuck in traffic it makes the ride go by faster. So its all around for every kind of mood. Jason's music is so very special and his voice is unique unlike any I've heard. Very soothing and uplifting. Plus his persona how he carries himself, his beliefs, his humble ways all add to the music, which makes you enjoy it even more.

I love Jason's music more than any other music I have ever heard before. I am passionate about it to the point people think I'm nuts. So it's not just you!
His music doesn't make me cry I must admit, but maybe it's because I am very happy and his music makes me joyful.
At times I am stressed and his music calms and soothes like nothing else.
I love every song and although I adore his NEW songs I am sooo looking forward to the studio versions. I want to hear his beautiful voice loud and clear and I'm not gettin that on these live recordings. I'm thrilled I have them but I want perfection and that is Jason Castro!

I like to compare listening to Jason's music an out of body experience. When I'm seriously stressed out and he randomly comes on my ipod or I play a couple of his songs my stress level goes down tremendously, he takes me to another place where I can gather my thoughts w/o thinking about the outside world. There are several times where when he sings I do cry especially if it just seeing how far he's come and I'm filled with joy. Like some people have said Jason is my all time favorite musician/artist he is just so captivating that I will always come back to him unlike some other faves where I can have only so much.
His love songs are like none of what I heard of before, they come from the pit of his heart that make me feel his joy, pain, longing for that special someone, and believe in the hardships of relationships make me believe in true love and finding that special person to share it with.
It's indescribable to an outsider, it's like his aura is bleeding thru his music & lyrics into our ears.

OTRainbow, you said that perfectly. His music definitely speaks to my soul. I feel the full range of emotions when I listen to him. I never tire of Jason's music. That's a really good sign of a great artist. What a great topic.

This is one on my favorite Jason videos, in the background you will see Mama Castro and Sooner both wiping tears.
I've cried more times than I can count listening to Jason. Most of the tears are happy tears. Jason pours his soul into his music and every word sinks under my skin and lives and breaths for the 3.56, or 5.09 or whatever the length of the song is. He has an incredible gift. As I watched Kris (this season) the other night, I asked myself.... "plays guitar, nice voice, cute... why not him" the answer... "he's NOT Jason". I don't think there has been or will be another Jason in the terms of "feeling" his music. I count him as a blessing.
