I love ALL of Jason's songs but the one I will always replay is the studio version of "Memory". That songs stops me in my tracks every time I hear it. The night I saw Jason sing "Fragile" was when I said "this guy has the x factor to make it BIG". Can't wait until Jason's first album comes out and I hope "Someday" and "Only One" are on it. Quess that was more then just one favorite song huh  |

It's hard to pick just one, so i'm gonna name all of my favs in no particular order:
-I Just Want To Be Your Everything
-Travelin' Thru
-September Morn
-Studio verson of Memory & Forever In Blue Jeans
-Both versions of I Don't Wanna Cry
His part in some of the group songs was very good too, like the Neil Diamond Medley. His "lower register" as was mentioned during Paulagate, is very noticeable in that song and he sounds great. Also in the John Lennon medley and in One Sweet Day. I better stop or else i'll end up naming every song he sang!

If I Fell - i can not listen to it only once- i have to listen twice every time i hear it. I LOVE him singing it. I went to U tube one day and listened to the beatles, Across the Universe version, and i think Maroon 5 did a version... and well, maybe i'm biased ( i mean they ARE the Beatles and all ) but i loved our boys the best

I Just Want to Be Your Everything! This was the song that won me over. I loved daydream, but was not committed until the following week. Yes! This was me identically! Thank you! I was committed (not in the asylum sorta way) after I heard IJWTBYE! |

I love Someday. It's so heartfelt,,I listen to it everyday. As far as AI, My favorite was Hallelujah. When i listen to my Cd tho, I can't get enough of how he sang Memory....Loved it...so different than the way all the others have done it! Unique and Undeniable. thats our Jasonnn.

I love Memory and September Morn. Fragile wasn't one of my favorites at first but it's really grown on me and it's become one of my favorites.

What a talented man! When I read through everyones favorites it struck me that he had so many great performances/recordings on AI that we all loved and are still listening to. Most contestants performances are not something I would want to listen to again. Jason is just awesome! He did a really good job of picking songs that suited him.
Anyway, I love all of his songs from AI but the one I think I've played the most is I Don't Wanna Cry. SOTR, Travelin Thru are at the top of the list too (it was tough to stop my list there ;D ). Oringal favorites are Someday and Only One.
I just love Jason's voice! It has a sensual quality to it, don't ya think?

They are all my favorites, but I believe the one I like the most is Clumsy. When I first heard/saw it, he was singing it at his church. I fell in love with it then. But I guess to pick an order it would of course be
1st - Clumsy
2nd - Hallelujah
3rd - Travelin' Thru
4th - Forever in Blue Jeans
5th - Memory
I have them all on my Zen and on a CD so I can play them in the car to and fro.... I need to have his music playing everywhere I am!!!!!!

Hmmph. Hardest question EVER. Original - The Other Side AI Performance - Travelin' Thru or Forever in Blue Jeans AI Studio Version - Fragile Cover - Clumsy Me too! Almost. I love 'The Other Side' it's like he's singing from my heart. Forever in Blue jeans feels like a window into his life. I love the song and the performance. Fragile gets me EVERYTIME I listen to it. The spanish parts are awesome. I love Clumsy but Crazy is awesome too so it's a tie there I guess. |

That's a hard question.
Pre Idol I would say Clumsy.
Idol- Hallelujah, especially the finale version. Each time I watch that video and see Jason get all choked up, it makes me want to cry too.
Love the studio version of Memory. I think he did amazingly well on that, considering he was sick that week.
Love to watch DDB and IJWTBYE as they were his earlier ones.
Never heard of Crazy till Jason. Watched a video of him singing that on tour and it is good.
Love them all.

Someday is my favorite of his originals.
Travelin Thru is my favorite AI studio recording.
Favorite live performances...If I Fell, Hallelujia, Daydream, Crazy (from tour), SOTR, I Just Wanna Be Your Everything (ok I am having a hard time narrowing these down!)

His opening to Cracklin' Rosie during the Neil Diamond group number (does that qualify as a Jason song?) ... lower register there is even yummier than FIBJ. Looking forward to some more like that ah, i loved that too! i also loved jason in the group number all i ask of you<3 they didn't have solos but you could hear his voice so clearly and it was magical. |
