I saw Jason on the AI stage last summer but that was too far away. I can't wait to see him here with other DH's at a smaller setting!

This will be a good turnout with lots of fans and street teamers there to support Jason  I know of so many going to this one. It's not my area to lead as I'm the ST leader for NJ but I'll be there to see Jason and help promote and looking forward to seeing you all as well. I thought only those who helped Street Team got to be in the group picture with Jason. Did something different happen at this event versus the others?
I'd love to hear more details!

I finally met Jason Castro! As soon as we ( debi and her daughter) entered the Food Court at the Galleria Mall in White Plains we were greeted by the magical sounds of whistling throughout the area. We look up and there is Jason’s video displayed on numerous TVs all over the food court. After letting out an uncontrollable squeee! We were spotted by the NY Street Team! Kathy came over to greet us and we met so many other wonderful DHs. I met Deborah and Rereader for the first time and I post with them nearly every day here…very strange. We met Cookie and CathyAnn, Lindaras and Purrlycat. Jason came out for a sound check. Oh My! #thyahoo# my heart stopped right there! He was adorable chattin away and checking wires bending this way and that! Strummed and sang a few notes and was gone! Little after 4 he came on and sang 6 songs for us. He was fantastic so friendly and happy! His mom won the x-box first time around but them another lucky person got it. Afterwards, we all hung out. I met his mom. Betsy...what a lovely lady she is! I also met princesslaurie and dare2dream, just1, fragileheart and I’m sure so many more just can’t remember everyone. We enjoyed watching Jason open a gift a few of us gave him. He loved it! I got my picture with Jason! I have been waiting for it since last July when I didn’t get to meet him in Newark. He came out after the show not before and we couldn’t wait that long….ok hubby wouldn’t wait that long in the lines afterwards. It was a day I’ll never forget. Special people and the best music there is!    |
