My Recap: I made it to the Gulf View Square Mall in one piece and on time despite the white knuckle traffic I had to battle for an hour to get there. I had very little time to wait as I got there at 5:40, just enough time to look around, find the Street Teamers and position myself at a nice location to get some pictures. The stage was in front of Best Buy and the Halloween Spirit House. Everybody was abuzz speculating from which direction Jason is entering the stage. The crowd was well behaved until from the right side of the stage came a security encircled Jason, with Daddy Rene not far behind. The cheers that erupted could fill an arena. It attracted more people and before you know it, my ideal perch was not mine alone anymore. I had to move around. It may seem inconvenient, but it was an easy way to observe everyone. Jason sang for 30 minutes with some exciting banter in between songs. I can see some young ones swaying to the music and some older ones singing with him. I heard a girl in awe of his Ukelele playing. The crowd were well represented as there were teen girls and teen boys as well as tween ladies and gents. I lost sight of the lady wearing a JCM shirt. The songs........I wanted more, but I understand, he can only sing so much in 30 minutes. He really left us all wanting more. What I noticed is the big change in Jason. The shy boy is no more. He was so comfortable on stage and interacts with the crowd so well. He has grown so much since AI. He sounded so good, I cannot wait for the CD to drop. The meet and greet......The line snaked through the food court and they had to put a security guard at the end of the line tor Jason will be there till midnight. These people are not there by chance. One girl's birthday celebration included a stop at the mall to see Jason. Others came with their own pictures for autograph and a girl had a ukelele for Jason to sign. It was so good to see Jason again, hear his music, but even better is witnessing how the shy boy has matured to a seasoned artist. Street Team ......there are Street Team and Street Teamers.....well, This night's team rocks
