I am creating a new art project and would love it to be a CASTRO "Copain" one (Meaning all fans of Jason Castro)!

Please send me your 4" x 4" or 4" x 8" drawing, painting, collage or other paper Media on Paper!

Draw, paint, scribble, doodle or collage your favorite flower. Make it a line drawing, full color or 1 color! Paint or collage! Whatever you desire.

I would like to combine all submissions and create a special art piece.

I will be posting my P.O. Box address in order to send your art sometime this week!

Everyone can send for the cost of a stamp! All submissions will fit into a standard size #10 envelope.

Specs: 4" x 4" or 4" x 8"
Mediums: ALL! on paper
Deadline: September 1st, 2009

Also, if you've done your work in any media that may smudge in shipping and handling (ie: Pastels or Caran D'ache Crayon), please take the time to spray your work with a fixative, either a "Final Fixative" or a "Workable Fixative". If you have no clue what that is, grab some cheap hairspray (like aquanet) and give it a light touch of spray. Let it dry for at least 24 hours prior to mailing.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
1. Please sign your work, either front or back
2. Please drop a note telling me the mediums used
3. Please send as many as you'd like to contribute!

FUTURE PLAN: To be able to sell this piece (possibly via auction) and donate ALL proceeds to selected charities, possibly each forum's favorites, this way we all get to be involved in the selection process.

Aspiring...... if your PO Box is that little 3x5 box, the clerks at the post office will bend the mail to get it into the box. The box should be at least the #3 size (5x10) if you don't want the art bent. You could get an 'overflow' box if you don't want to change your box number.

I have an update!

I went to the P.O. Box today and picked up several envelopes!
