Tuesday as in Midnight ET?? Jason is performing on Idol Wrap, tonight! I have a few question about iTunes and was hoping someone would know the answers. I was planning on gifting songs to everyone on my email list but I was wondering:
1) Does it matter if, for example, 20 songs are purchased from the same account and gifted to 20 different people? Or is it better if each song is purchased from a different account, therefore making it more productive to email everyone about the song and hope they get it on their own?
2) If I gift 20 songs, does it only count as a sale if the person I sent it to actually retrieves it? What happens to it if they don't?
3) Is there a way we can see how well sale are going, like and exact number, besides seeing how it is ranked?
4)Also, on the Dreadhead site Kali said we don't want sales to spike on Tuesday then drop off completely. Is there a plan of action, such as purchasing the song on Tuesday, then gifting a few songs every day for the next week or two?
I may post this under street team questions,too.

Hey Eckschiller...well im not too sure about if it counts as one sale or for each one, i would think each sale would count on it's own. As for what Kali said..we definitely want him to shoot to #1 in hopes that Idol will mention that he's at #1 on itunes, but if your gifting to a bunch of people, then maybe do half for tonight and spread the rest out...and i believe that when you gift to someone it needs to be sent to the email address that they signed up with on their itunes account...hope this helps some!! |

I know everyone is going to be all disappointed, but look at it this way...later in the season means more audience, and really, isn't it better that the Street Team has a chance to organize and get all the ducks in a row first?

For what it's worth, the street team's ducks were completely lined up. The Regionals worked really hard this weekend to get everything ready and the State Leaders did an awesome job getting it all ready to roll to their team members. They kicked some serious heinie on this and I'm just sorry ya'll don't get to marvel and wonder. This time. . .
Things happen all the time that push back song releases, movies, books, dentist appointments, the contractor finally getting my bathroom floor re-done. It's disappointing, but it will be okay before you know it.

Well things happen in this industry.. For whatever reason it may be I'm sure it'll be all sorted out in no time. I've waited so long already whats another day, week or two before seeing Jason on the stage & buying his music!
I'm sure Jason is as bummed as we all are as he's just as anxious to share his music with us. So, im gotta sit back, relax and wait for Mr Castro's good news!

He worked for 2 years on his cd, and it was one of the hardest things for a fan to have to deal with: the waiting without getting too many details.
