The show:
I did the cell cast for Rickey.org and since I hold my phone up over my head the entire time, my arms are killing me today. I can't imagine the sound was good; I thought the mix in that venue was terrible.
Chikezie: energetic, happy, humble. I'm so disappointed I have still not gotten to meet him. Maybe third time will be a charm next week. The crowd was loud and enthusiastic through most of the show.
Rami: cute, energetic. Her hair is longer and thicker, and I love the color...an auburn hue.
MJ: he was really on. His wife's 83 year old grandma was in the audience, so MJ said he was going to do an extra good job. He looked great, sounded great (despite the poor acoustics). He threw his jacket off after his second song, and waved to McCartney's friend in the first row. Everyone screamed. heheh
KCL: Her hair is really thick! The crowd stood when she asked them too.
Carly: We were sitting in floor seats in the middle of the venue but I honestly couldn't hear parts of Carly's songs. She hit the high notes with no problems and looked beautiful. She was personable and in a great mood.
Brooke: she looked so beautiful and sounded fantastic in all her songs. She has the sweetest look when she sings. I think I'd go to one of her concerts.
Jason: oh, I love our boy, but he really wasn't on his game last night. It sounded as though his throat was really inflamed and full. It could have been partly the venue, though, because the mics sounded bad all around. He just didn't have that sexy lower register that we know he has and his high notes were cut short at times. He looked tired and had his "dirty" moustache (unless it was sharpie again) and sang with his eyes closed much of the time. He did the slow versions of the first 2 songs. There wasn't much banter and he didn't have that gleam in his eye or playful energy in his step that he usually does. I hope he gets some rest soon.
Syesha had family in the audience. She said even if she doesn't hit all the notes in her final song, she always loves singing it.
David A: I've listened to all but one of the concerts this summer so know the power in DA's voice. The mics in the Wolstein made his voice sound tinny at times, although he put his all into his performance and did a great job. He stopped to cough a couple times, but not as much as earlier in the week. He's the cutest thing. He still does that awkward laugh during his banter.
David C: the guy has earned his title. He was so playful last night...really connecting with the audience. As soon as he came out for his Hello, he laughed at a couple of the signs and mentioned that he sees some interesting signs during his performances. One of them must have said throw me a kiss because he did that between songs. He threw a few guitar picks into the audience, walked up to one guy and asked for his camera and took a few pics with it. He made a joke about the Cleveland Browns football team and said "Did I lose my audience with that comment?" He also said something like "I'm just here to sing and drink. Michael Johns said..." then started to laugh and said he lost his train of thought. I get the impression they all know the tour is ending and they're making the most of it. They seem renergized and ready to end it with a bang!

Forgot about the Mavid:
David C and MJ put on the white Phantom of the Opera masks and each held a red rose while they danced. Silly boys.
After the concert:
I ran out to where the Camarillas had saved me a spot. Thank you girls!!!! I'm in a rush so will just say that Jason did come out to a bunch of screams. We knew they'd have to leave early and he was aware of that too. So while he got to everyone, he was pretty rushed. I got my friend's t-shirt signed, he signed the back of my Flat Jason, took a pic of himself with me (my eyes were closed in the shot, so I'm hoping third time will be a charm next week for a pic of Jason and me!!) and he had a cute laugh on his face. He put his head right next to mine for the pic and his dreads were so prickly, but it was nice being that close to him. Maybe that's why my eyes were closed.
He gave me a quick hug while talking to someone else, then moved on. He looked tired but said he was feeling good. There was such a big crowd there, I didn't get any good pics of him. I did get a pic of a Cleveland cop with Flat Jason.
David A also came out and was rushing through the crowd but smiley and engaging. I didn't know much about him before the tour, but he's a sweet talented kid and I'll eagerly follow his career.
Ray, the body guard said they were leaving on their 10 hour drive to Connecticut at 11:30 and they were out of the parking lot by 11:45pm. Hope they got some rest.

Hanna - I'm still having a hard time with the emotions. I can't believe how overwhelmed I am. I thought I loved Jason before. I now know I love Jason the human being, not the enigma, you know what I mean? Yesterday made it very personal for me. He's an incredible person. So giving, despite not feeling well. I was about 4 people up from you and I asked him if he wasn't feeling well and he said he was really dragging, that he didn't get ANY sleep the night before.
Cal, Chops and Coke said he did not sound good at all during the show. He was really struggling with his runs and usually he's a lot more animated and dynamic on stage. It was very evident that our boy is still sick (even though he denies it) and is exhausted. I noticed right away that his eyes didn't sparkle. And through it all, he remained positive and caring to his fans. I'm so proud of him.

My husband and I were just talking about this....Jason did not sound well during his set...he did sound like he was struggling. And yet....he still managed to come out after and he spent so much time with everyone. My husband said he really was the greatest to his fans....he was very impressed with him.
He really took the time to sign and take pics for everyone. I even have him on film at the end, and they are telling him to leave and he still managed to try and get to everyone calling for him. He didn't have to come out at all, but he did...and he spent the most time.
I am with you JMR.....I am more in awe of him now that I met him than I was before. And I can't get that image of his eyes out of my head...just so beautiful...

Even though I went to the Columbus show, I live in Cleveland so this was my big show.
The day the Idol tickets went on sale, I was closed out of the online ticketmaster for hours. I freaked out because at the time I thought that this would be the only time I would see Jason live. My friend and I really got into Idol his year, actually the first time we ever really got into Idol, because it helped us get through a difficult time. My friend's mom had just passed away with lung cancer suddenly and it was the one show that she loved to watch. After watching the first show with jason's Daydream I was hooked. We got really into the show and had watching parties on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She's a Michael Johns fan. Even though she was heartbroken that he was eliminated, she supported Jason in the weeks to follow. It may seem silly but we would make scrapbooks, picture frames, and cd's of Jason and Michael for each other-the Castro Champagne Celebrations(CCC) were always a good time on Fridays also. So it was important that I got us great seats to the Cleveland show. I decided to go with TicketsNow and put a bid on two tickets in the center section in the 12th row for us. I paid top dollar, but this was going to be our night! TicketsNow reserved the tickets for me, but were alittle sketchy about the seats and when I would actually get the tickets. Two months passed and no tickets! I was worried. When I called they said that the tickets wouldn't get to me until Wednesday or Thursday morning. Thursday was the day of the show! I freaked out a bit on the phone because for what I was paying I didn't appreciate that service. The tickets actually showed up on Tuesday...
The tickets said 7th row center, so they were actually better than what I originally reserved. And when we got to the venue we realized that the center section started with row 7
OMG! was all I kept saying all night. We were about 10 feet away from Jason!!!!!
It was awesome!!!! He did sing with his eyes closed through most of his set but looked down at me and smiled during Daydream.

Sorry, my computer just refreshed or something...
I thought front row was well worth the price of the tickets, but then we went out to meet Jason! He did come out finally and we could tell that he was tired. I was behind a lot of people outside, but surrounded by dreadheads! YEAH! When he came by I asked if I could get a pic with him and he told me to come forward. He took the pic of both of us-WOW! The picture looks good! He's good at holding the camera and taking the pic! It's amazing because we are perfectly in the center of the picture. When he handed me my camera, after making sure the pic was good, he said he remembered me from the front row.
OK! THAT MADE MY DAY! I stepped back and my knees wouldn't stop shaking...hehe!
I was very tired this morning, but managed to head to school with my autographed t-shirt on to show off to my fourth graders. By the way, Bec, THANK YOU for helping me get my shirt signed!
With the memories and thoughts of last night playing again and again in my head while driving to work, I managed to snap out of my own daydream to look up and see a rainbow across the sky...a perfect end!

Mine probablly won't be much, but here goes.
Ok, so I got there at 6:30. We walked around. Right before the show, I saw a camerilla near the bathrooms, but I was in line, realllllllly had to pee, 1, and 2, got really scared to go say hi. So I didn't. I regret it though. I also am most positive I saw Hanna down there, but I wasn't sure, so I didn't, Me and my nerves. But During Jason's set I was screaming. and if anyone heard something from the low balcony say, "I LOVE YOU JASON!" Most likely me. I got NOOOOOO good pictures of him. soo one of the people I went with got three amazzzzzing pictures. I got a video, that hopefully i can post soon. After the show. Ok, so we were walking towards the car. well behind the trees Kendal goes, look it's jason, soooo casually, and I'm all "WHERE?!" and she pointed, right below me... I screamed, FIRST ONE to say anything, I LOVE YOU JASON!!!! Held up my sign that said, "Jason I'm somewhere over the rainbow for you dreadhead 1503" and HE POINTED AT ME AND SAID HEYYYYY!! And I like....freaked out and literally was crying! We saw him another time and he made DIRECT EYE CONTACT with meee! AGAIN!!!!!!I freaked out and started crying all over. We waited for like 30 more minutes and the others wanted to go home, so I said ok, thanks for stayin this long. So, I saw my first taxi cab on the way down, ate in a bar for the First time (hairy Buffalo's! DELICIOUS) and made eye contact with JASON! ahhhhhh!
It only would have been better with pictures and DEFINATLY to meet him.
If I think I may add more later.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=FD3ZP7RDux0That's my video!
I started uploading and had to leave the house so you saw it before I did!
Sorry about the shakiness. We were in the last row on the floor, and my camera couldn't focus. Plus I was holding the cell phone in one hand and the camera in the other. He actually sounds better on this video than he did in the hall. The acoustics where we were sitting were bad, and I was holding my camera up over my head. I'm working on uploading Daydream now.

Oops. Thanks for capturing and sharing your videos. I look forward to watching "Daydream" also. I was happy to hear Jason sound so great on the video, especially after reading two of the previous posts. The crowd seemed to love him. Jason got at a very nice review in the Cleveland media.

Daydream.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSbkJBniQpYYou can't really tell on the previous video how his throat sounded. I think it's more noticeable in this one. Yeah, the crowd loved him.

From the stage, I saw lots and lots of baby blue in the crowd when the stage lights were on-especially in the section to the left of the stage. I think this might have been section 125, 126, or 127??? I'm sure Jason could see it too!
