Hmmm what's going on with me? It FINALLY snowed and I think it's sticking this time - I got my Christmas wish! I'm right smack-dab in the middle of my final exams and let me tell you - it's been one of 'those' weeks. I was given back one of my papers and there was a misunderstanding between my paper and some group members papers....long story short, it looked like I lied on my paper (but I actually didn't) and I almost got thrown out of the college for violating the student academic agreement and code of conduct. Which, is a serious thing - I wouldn't be able to attend another post-secondary institution for 5 years, and even then it's kind of up in the air!! So I was busy dealing with that all week, and then I had an exam yesterday at 8am (I think it went well). 3 more exams to go!


Whew that was long! I can't wait until exams are done so I can spend more time on here, I miss you guys!!

Yikes Hippie! That's serious business - I assume it all worked out though? Sheesh. I knew someone that was thrown out of school for plagarizing - difference being that he was actually guilty. I'm sure there are enough real liars and cheaters at your (and every other) college that the Powers That Be will move on quickly. Good luck with the rest of finals . . . It's almost over!!!!

Anny - remember that other girl that was on our bus that somehow got a song she sang loaded onto the website for us all to listen to? Get to work and figure that out! We want to hear you! Or maybe youtube? Sing a lullaby for ND's babies.

ND - you can just forget about no longer worrying . . . this is just the beginning! You will worry yourself sick almost everyday for the rest of your life! I keep thinking that when my kids pass a certain stage, my job will get easier, but now I'm starting to realize that every day is scarier that the last - just ask Anny's mom! (A - hope your driving is going well, by the way! Congratulations!) I'm all out of sorts today because I had a terrible dream about my little boy and though I'm quite sure that I have no psychic abilities, it was very upsetting. I spent the rest of the night praying that God will let me keep him forever . . . ugh.

nd, I think VT is right! You are going to worry about something the rest of your life!! I often say that is why I never had kids, I remember being a teenager! Ha Ha!! Along with the worry will be plenty of reward though, I am most sure!! I am feeling very privileged to be a tiny part of your huge journey!! It is so exciting and I am happy you can share it with us! I remember the night you had that baby shower and how bummed out you were when it was canceled! That seems like a hundred years ago now!! I am so happy for you! So I've gotten my resume all written up for Disney, they just want me to send in a few 8x10headshots, and I'm getting those done soon!
Even better news! They're looking for people to play on Jonas Brothers new show JONAS.
WHOO! so I'm going to to send in my app. and stuff, and hopefully I get calls.
I also think I'm going to audition for Twilight 2, ahah we'll see what happens.
I'm so excited with all of this!

ANNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited too! We watch those disney shows ALL THE TIME here at my house. iCarly is our current favorite - that show is seriously funny. We also love Hannah Montana because her brother on that show is so funny he makes me cry . . . I'm not kidding. If you grown-ups want to really laugh like a goofy 7 year old, tune in.

So there's going to be a Jonas Bros show? That may be our new favorite soon! We went to the Hannah Montana show last year when they were opening for her and they were great (and seriously cute) so we love them too.

Anny! That is SOOOOO exciting! OMG< i can't wait to hear what happens! I will die if/when I get to see you on TV or a movie! Did I ever tell you I was an extra in Ocean's 12? You see my for like a whole 2 seconds, but it was an awesome and fun experience!

Map, I'm so glad you get to go in for acupuncture this week! I know that will help! And I hear you about the snow and winter time, it can get so yucky here in the midwest, why do we put up with it? Oh yeah, so we don't have 120 degree temps in the summer I guess!

Mein, you are right, I will never stop worrying! And is it bad that I don't have kids yet but still watch those Disney Channel shows on occasion? I would probably watch them more but I get weird looks from my husband. But seriously, at least when you watch them you know you aren't going to hear nasty words or see people having sex or someone's head get blown off! I think that's why I like them, they are "wholesome"!

Hi to everyone else- I don't have much time to write, but I have some bummer news. I was all ready to leave this Friday for the Garland show, everything was all set, and then yesterday at work I had another horrible episode of bleeding, and this time there were several large clots that came out as well (sorry again for the TMI!). Of course I freaked, drove straight to my doctor's office, and after having an ultrasound, found out that both of the babies are still doing fine. Whew. And that is really all that matters. BUT, I am on bedrest for at least a week, which means no Texas. I am very sad and disappointed, but since it is for the health of my babies I am ok. I would never want to jeopardize their health. I was so fortunate in that I was able to find someone to buy the two tickets I had, so that was good. I am sad since this was my Christmas present, but again, the only truly important thing is my babies being ok, and I will give up whatever I need to to make that happen. And on the positive side, I can't work until next Tuesday at the very earliest, so I get a little mini vacation! Too bad I'm not allowed to leave my house since I am on bedrest. Man oh man, I am not even three months pregnant and I am already having to make these big mom sacrifices for my kids! I guess I'd better get used to it!

I am cheating right now and am out of bed so I need to go, but hopefully will be able to check in more this week since I will have nothing else to do! Love you all!

It is always fun to come here when I am bored out of my mind!! Which I am, now that the weather stinks! I went and had lunch with some of my ex-coworkers today, so that helps. It was nice to talk to them, all though they are all really bummed out. Did I tell you guys they are closing the building down at my old company? 250 Peeps are losing their jobs! Yikes! They do not know yet who will go, but it isn't going to be good! Life is ever changing, I guess!

Hi Guys!
Sorry it's been so long since I've posted-- but it is great to hear from everyone out there (except JCL-- are you out there? Any news on your truck? )

Things here have been the same (in other words, busy!) I've been on two road trips since Thanksgiving ended, and I have three more scheduled before Christmas! And probably another two before New Year's. I feel like at times I'm only home to do laundry, LOL! My poor car has put so many miles on lately, it's probably crying for an oil change.

I watched the videos on Castrocopia that showed Jason's videos from the Tulsa show-- and he did GREAT! I liked Shine Your Light, and also enjoyed the extra verse of Hallelujah he threw in there. There was also this link on TWOP www.iamsecond.com/#/seconds/Jason_Castro/ -- he filmed a short interview for them about his faith, and it was really nice. He seemed so very genuine and true in that interview, really brought to light why I think we all like Jason in the first place.

Oh, someone on TWOP mentioned that J & M were no more? I'm kind of out of the loop, so not sure of the veracity of that. If so, it's a shame, but honestly expected. Someone also mentioned that he was under new management, which if so is good news.

maP, that's a shame about your old company-- it's almost a good thing you left before that, so you wouldn't have to go thru that right before the holidays.

Hippie: how awful that you were accused of lying! I hope things are going to work out. And what amazing news about going to Ireland, Scotland, etc. When we lived in Germany, we got to go there, and loved it! Though a small tip, for what it's worth: if you're going to Dublin, you may not want to stay very long unless you're just looking to party-- it was a nice city, but pretty touristy & commercialized. We enjoyed the countryside of Ireland much more. On the other hand, we really enjoyed Edinburgh, and we didn't spend enough time there (just stayed a day).

Anny: How cool that you're going to do auditions! We'll have to keep your posts and tell everyone we knew you when. And if anyone asks to see a sample of your screenwork, you can always show them the clip of Jason's sendoff on AI, when you got to hug him! And ND, that's cool that you got to be an extra in O-12! When I was 8 years old, the movie Steel Magnolias was being filmed in a little town about 45 minutes from my hometown, and my mom took me and a friend of mine up there because they were doing an open casting call for children for the Christmas parade and Easter Egg hunt. I was chosen to be in the Christmas Parade, but then at some point before filming the scene, they cut out the parade and just stuck with the Christmas market, therefore cutting out a bunch of kids' "roles."

VT! Great to hear from you! I hope your Christmas shopping goes well. I'm not one to talk though-- I have a habit of noticing gift items in March or April, buying them, then hiding them in my attic and losing them for a couple of years.

Fishy, glad your car issues have worked out. The Vue is kind of cute, looks a little like my car.

Hi Idol! I hope you're doing well. How's your weather? All these girls from the north are making me happy to be living here in the south, with all their talk of snow, LOL! Here in Georgia, it is a balmy and overcast 65 degrees at 9 AM. I love it!

ND! I'm SOOOO happy to hear the ultrasound went well, though I'm sorry to hear your bedrest is causing you to miss the Christmas concert. Though I feel like someone will get good video, it just isn't the same as a first hand experience. Still, I know it makes you feel better to be doing something productive for your babies-- even if doing something means doing nothing, LOL! And I'm with everyone on here-- don't worry about that bleeding/spotting (LOL, yeah, that's like saying "don't breathe!") but don't over-worry. You're absolutely right, at 10 weeks your chances of MC are SOOO low. Keep your fingers crossed for me-- I'm with (yet another) new doctor, this time a 7 hour drive away (they just keep getting further away, soon I'll be up in Canada and need to bunk with Hippie, LOL!) But we're doing IUI this cycle, so I'm keeping optimistic!

Okay, ladies, I'm outta here-- got a bunch o' junk to do, and I need to get stuff ready for another daytrip tomorrow! If I don't get back on here before Christmas, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Mein! Yeah there's going to be a Jonas Brothers show called "J.O.N.A.S!"-Kevin, Nick, and Joe are three brothers who hit the big time as hugely popular teen idols. How do teen idols live an ordinary life? They don't! But as they try to be normal boys doing "normal" things, life keeps getting less and less "normal". ! I guess it's kind of like Hannah Montana in a way? I don't know.


I think I'm going to audition for Camp Rock 2.

Hi Gang!

What is up with the weather?! It RAINED here on Sunday and was 38 degrees! Then last night it changed over to snow and it is only -5 degrees today. Northern MN had a blizzard yesterday, so I am glad we missed out on that, here in the cities.
We do have a nice coating of ice under the snow as all that rain froze! The roads are a little greasy!
Is everyone ready for Christmas? 10 more days!

hey ladies. its been a while since i stopped in here..how is everyone?

I'm sure everyone is really busy with Christmas around the corner. We just got our out of town gifts mailed which is a huge relief. More than half the presents are bought wrapped and on their way to their new home.
Tiger it is good to see you again. I don't know for sure about the Rumors about Mandy, but I did notice that she is not listed in his top friends on his myspace anymore. So I would guess that they are probably not together anymore.

I couldn't help it, but I snuck a peak at the Idol sight to see what is up with the new season. It looks like they are going to change it up a bit. 36 will come out of Hollywood round and will perform in groups of 12 over three nights. The top 3 of each group voted by the viewers will move on to the top 12 round. 3 more wild card slots will be chosen by the judges. I probably will watch because I am curious about MCas and I'm a sucker for new music. Speaking of which I came across a new group I really like. They are called "The Acadamy Is"

I found them when searching Itunes for the song 1234 by plain white T's. They always put up suggestions that you might also like and I noticed the titile of an album "Fast times at Barrington High." Now as that is where my husband graduated from I took notice, found their myspace sight and listened in. I actually think they are pretty good. They will also be on MTV on New Years Eve.

We have been having pretty crazy weather here. It warmed up to 50 on monday. Dropped back to the 20's on Tuesday and dropped 6 inches of snow as well. Now it is a whopping 6.6 degrees out and we are projected to get 6-9 inches of snow starting tomorrow afternoon and finishing up Friday morning. The kids are really hoping to start Christmas vacation a day early and who could blame them. If I don't manage to get back on here this week as I do hope to do some Christmas baking I hope that everyone has a very Merry Christmas.

maP- I checked out Rob's playlist - he has some great taste in music!! I liked Nikki's too! I love going through people's ipods And that really sucks about all those people losing their jobs right around christmas. My dad's company is laying off a bunch of people in response to the recession as well - it's no fun and creates stress all around. I was actually stuying lay-off survivor syndrome in my management class this year, definitely not something to take lightly!

anny- I can't believe it's snowing for you!! I told you I'd send you some! Did they close your school down for the day? We're sitting at -32C here right now, I think that's -26F, and I've been shovelling like it's going out of style

nd- So sorry you missed the show! I know how much you were looking forward to it - but I'm glad you stayed home!! You're in the right frame of mind for being a great mother - that's for sure!!! You'll catch the next one!

I've been pretty busy! I just finished my exams last saturday (and I didn't get kicked out of the college, although I did lose a grade point for the misunderstanding - but I'm taking what I can get and running!!), and now I'm just waiting for one more mark so I can get my semester's GPA

We're running late over here with Christmas - we're just getting ready to set up the tree today - only....we can't find it!!! Who loses a 6ft christmas tree?!?! Hahah oh well, we'll get around to it. And I don't want to jinx it, but my friend introduced me to one of her other friend's last night - thinking that I would like him. And I do, but oh my is he ever out of my league!! On the plus side, he apparently said I was cute and then started talking about how charming he is We'll see how that works out LOL

Ok guys, this is probably my last post until the holidays are over, so have a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe Holiday!! I'll be here in the new year to loose all that extra weight with you guys
