Hey gang, just wanted to say hi. I haven't been posting much. DDB is gone. #1381#
I will say, I will miss it. These new sites just are not the same. I don't know what it is, just different I guess.
hippie, I wasn't sure if you saw my message on the DDB bus, but now that is is gone I will post it here.
NO RUSH! We know you are busy, but under chatter at the other new home, there is a folder called, Park Bench Chat Groups, where you can paste all of our old bus, so we do not loose our posts. I haven't been there much as it is to weird to not have our bus there.
I don't know if it's because the tour is over, or because all the ugly that was happening, but things feel different. It is sort of sad, like someone died. I have to shake that feeling off because I don't like it!! I did read somewhere that at DDB we had like 2500 people registered but at the new site, only 320! I do think some people left because of what was going on. To bad.

Hi My Friends! So DDB is gone , and I don't even remember the address of that other site - but is it true that we can't have a bus thread over there? I signed up and poked around a little bit, I saw you, maP, but couldn't find any bus info. Sad . . . I sort of like this site though. I like the music. I was clearing out our computer/guest room the other day and I smelled a certain smell (I think it's the soap in the bathroom) that sent me sailing back to last spring, when I spent WAAAYY too much time sitting at this computer chatting with y'all! I read somewhere that your olefactory (?) nerve center relates closely to your memory - I guess that's true!

So HI! to a few bus rider we haven't heard from in a while! We're so happy to see you! We have the best bus - wherever it is.

I'm in the process of moving Bus 36 over to 'ddb stuff' on the dreadheads message board, but a couple things are going wrong:

1) There's a maximum character limit, and I can't fit the bus in one post, it looks like it's gonna take a couple pages
2) The board is reallllllllly slow for me, and doesn't always load.

This is what I'm thinking: I'm super busy so I won't get to the massive update that the website I made needs, but I can c & p the bus over there (there's more room, it won't take as long), which solves issue #1, and issue #2....is anyone else having the same problem? If so, do you want to continue our main posting over at the Cafe? or stay at The Dreadheads?

JCL, I am fine. I haven't been posting much as I have a new obsession. I picked up the first two books in the Twilight series and I have been reading them! I am going out today to pick up the third one.
Where is everyone?
I miss the old days! I guess we all have other things going on now.
I haven't been to the knew site much as it does not work well for me. It takes forever! This one isn't that good but a little better. Maybe everyone is having trouble!

Maybe everyone is just super busy. I pulled a Jason the other night and stayed up until seven in the morning reading the second twilight book. I am half way done with the third one so I need to go get the 4th one.

Ah Map, I'm so glad I have corrupted another person. I love the twilight series. I soooooo can't wait for the movie to come out. Just a little over a month away. I have just barely been over to the new sight, but since I can't find our bus there, I haven't posted anything. This is always a crazy time of year for us. Of course getting back into the swing of school and all our school year activities is always a challenge. I just signed my oldest daughter up for another dance class so now we have a Monday night activity as well. I know I am totally crazy, but my girls love it so I do it. Other than that I have been working a ton and reading in my spare time. I have read the whole Twilight series a few times now, but took a little time off to read Brisingr, the new book from Christopher Paolini. I just picked up a new book by Terry Brooks and am waiting for the library to get in Orson Scott Card's latest book as well. It seems like all my favorite author's put out books this time of year. I hope everyone is doing well. I heard from Hippie through an email. I imagine others did as well. Now it is stime to go take a hot bath and read some more.

I am now on the 4th book of the Twilight series and I want to slow down and make it last, but I can't! I haven't even turned the TV on since I started reading this! It is just as bad, if not worse, than reading the Harry Potter books! Hmm, am I imature for my age? Ha Ha, of course I am!
You are right fishy about the movie! I am excited. Does anyone know if there will be a 5th book yet? I have no idea, as I just started on the 4th, if that question will be answered. Maybe you shouldn't tell me?
Yes, I heard from hippie in an email to. Over at the new house, anny started a bus under the parking lot in the chatter area. JCL and VT have been there.
hippie also loaded part of the bus under the Daydreaming thread area, but she was having trouble with it. I do not post there much as the site is really slow. This one has been a little better lately.

Hello everyone! I miss you all so much! It has not been the same since tour ended and especially since DDB went down.

maP, aren't the twilight books SO good! I finished the fourth one a week or so ago and have been in withdrawal! My mom is reading them now and we are already both so excited to go see the movie when it comes out next month! As I understand it, the author of the twilight series is writing a 5th book, but it's more of a "the world of..." type of book, like telling the histories of the characters and "creatures" (whatever you can call all the different types of people there are!), so I don't think it is really another sequel, but I could definitely be wrong! And you are not immature at all! How's this for funny- as soon as I finished the twilight series I had this desire to read the Harry Potter series again, even though I have read it several times, so that is what I'm on now!

Fishy, it's so good to hear from you! I'm sure that you have a crazy busy schedule as it sounds like a lot of us do right now! Once the movie comes out we all have to go see it and then post our thoughts on it? Is there anyone well known in it? I'll have to go google to movie and check out the cast!

Tiger, how are you doing? Any news on the job front? And how is your play going? I hope that you're doing well and let us know how everything is going! I miss your witty posts, they always make me smile!

Anny and Hippie, how is school? Anny, were you able to get out of that psycho teacher's class? I hope so! Hippie, how are your classes going? You sound crazy busy! And have I told you lately that you are my hero for saving our bus, I can't thank you enough for that!

As for me, I have been super busy and not on much because we have been the the throes of another IVF cycle the last few weeks. Let me tell you, the meds for it are serious created by the devil, I hate them so much! However, this morning I had my egg retrieval surgery, and they got 22 eggs from me (my doctor told me I am an egg-making machine- How the heck do you respond to that?!), and now they are fertilizing them, and then probably next Tuesday we will put back some good embryos! Hopefully it will work this time, I don't know how I could handle another unsuccessful cycle. If you are the praying kind, please keep my and Mr. ND in your prayers these next few weeks until we find out!

I miss you, bus! I hope that when Jason starts touring on his own we can all be back here some more!

Oh, and if you haven't had an opportunity to check out date night from this past Tuesday, it's a MUST! HE was SO DARN CUTE!

And did you all hear that Michael tried out for AI, and Jason was with him in the audition? I think there is a video of it floating around somewhere at thedreadheads.com, I think I am going to try and find that now!

nd!! It is so good to hear from you! Yes the Twilight book ARE SO GOOD! I am half done with the last one and I wish I could slow down and make it last, but I can't stop reading it! I found out there will be a book 5. It will be called Midnight Sun and a draft of the story was leaked on the inter net! Stephenie Meyer has it posted on her site, but she does say that she didn't want fans to read it, as it is not the story it should be. She wishes to publish and edit it, but made the draft available as she new others would and did, anyway. I am going to choose to not read it until it comes out as the published story which she said will spend more time on after the release of Breaking Dawn, so she is probably working on it right now! Sorry I've been MIA recently. I've lurked briefly at work for a few minutes at lunch here & there, but haven't had much time to post. I've ben pretty busy with work, my play, etc. Pretty much haven't done anything else in days, it seems!

I posted on ddb right before it died to the effect that I wouldn't have much time to post in the next few months, what with the play going on. It should be over with after thanksgiving, though, so maybe by the time the CD drops I can get on here and read/share thoughts on it. I'm sure it'll be great!

Hi guys! Long time no post! It's been a crazy semester, and it seems like I'm living exam to exam! They started at the end of September, and don't end until the first week of November! And then I have 3 weeks until final exams yeesh! In those four months off I think I forgot what it was like to go to college!

maP - With all the things going on, school and otherwise, I had a feeling my laptop would die (and it did) so just before, I tried to e-mail our ddb board to everyone - and hopefully someone got it because, unfortunately, I lost everything when my laptop died.

I will confess though - because you guys had been talking about it so much - I went and picked up twilight on monday night....and had it done by tuesday afternoon! I loved it!! I picked up new moon today, and I have another confession! I'm supremely emotionally invested in the books! I can barely read the second one because I'm so angry and desperate about Edward LOL Dios mio what am I going to do?? hehe
