Hello all! I am still here! Sorry it has been so long since I've posted! Believe or not, I check in every day but just have not posted in awhile. I think part of it is I feel like I have nothing to say, at least nothing of interest! I am 30 weeks pregnant today and expect to go maybe 6-8 more weeks (hopefully not before that!). I am getting absolutely petrified of giving birth, for those of you who have kids, please tell me it's not as bad as I am making it out to be! Both babies are doing great, although I feel like a big pile of dog doo every day. I am HUGE (measuring the size of a 40 week pregnant woman) and I can barely stand for 5 minutes before my back feels like it is going to break in half. I can't eat much as my stomach is so squashed, and the last few days my stomach has been so itchy I actually resorted to scratching it with my hair brush! (Stupid I know, don't worry I stopped that.) I don't sleep longer than an hour at night before I have to pee, switch sides (my hips KILL me at night), or scratch my belly. And I am so bored and lonely all day long just laying in bed (have been on bed rest for quite awhile now, I can't leave the house except of dr. appts.). SO needless to say, I am not the happiest camper and I don't want to spend all my time complaining here, even though that is what I just did I guess. Sorry. BUT both babies are doing great and that is the most important thing. It's just hard when I feel so yucky all the time. I have not really been watching Idol, sometimes my mom comes over and she watches it so I see it then, but it is so BORING! There is no Jason, which is the biggest problem, but I find myself missing even the other season 7 contestants, they were a lot more interesting and talented then this seasons, in my opinion. I am so excited to hear the news of Jason's signing, and just keep telling myself that by the time he has an album out and is touring I will be done being pregnant and will have two baby boys! I can't wait! My dad is coming over with lunch, so I don't have time to do personals just now, but I am thinking about all of you and will try to post more frequently! Miss you all and just in case anyone forgot WE HAVE THE BEST BUS EVER! ;D

Hi Everyone!!
ND! I just sent you a PM! I figured nobody else would be interested in my labor tales, but you can never hear enough of them when you're about to go through it yourself. I remember!
Hope everyone is well! I'm laughing at your post Tiger, because just like last year, it's time to clean house and we are finding ourselves back here to procastronate. I love bus 36.

Hey guys!
Glad to see you on the other side of exams! Hehe they went well, I think. Still waiting for my marks. But let me say one thing, my stats exam....45 PAGES and 4 HOURS long. You know when they hand you 3 probability booklets, a cheat sheet, a multiple choice booklet, a long answer booklet, a scrap piece of paper and an equation booklet (I think we're up to 8 booklets just to write the exam) you're in fo a doozie.
But I survived! LOL and as any woman would celebrate, I went to IKEA and spent my tax return on a new bed frame, night table and dresser. Whoo! Some assembly required too, so I'll be playing with power tools (that was your cue to run).
ND - you've been in my thoughts lately! Here's something funny for you - ever notice how diaper, spelled backwards is 'repaid'.....think about it! LOL I'm so excited for you, once the tough part is over, I know you'll be 10x more excited than ever. <3

Wow has it been quiet on here. I know this time of year gets crazy. We will be doing our "dance" weekend this weekend. That means rehearsals Friday night and recital on Saturday. Then My older daughter is in a flute recital on Sunday. My older daughter will be having her 8th grade graduation in a few weeks and the younger one is graduating to middle school this year so will be having a big year end picnic on the same day. It will be nice when things start wrapping up and there will be less we have to deal with.

Hi ladies! I hope everyone is doing well! I can't believe I am typing this but I had my babies on Monday! So far we are all doing great, although I had a rough couple of days.
Last Tuesday (5/5) at my appointment my doctor was afraid that I was developing a condition called preeclampsia, which is life threatening to the mom and babies characterized by high protein in the urine and high blood pressure. They monitored me super closely all last week, and I ended up in labor and delivery several times, but got to go home each time. I was so afraid that I would get preeclampsia really bad. There is no way to know how quickly or badly it will come on. Well, my fears of developing preeclampsia came true, and really quickly. On Friday my 24 hour urine collection came back with elevated protein, but my blood pressure was ok so they didn't think I had preeclampsia yet. They decided to give me these steroid shots that would help develop the babies' lungs more quickly, just in case they had to be born early, so I had the first one Saturday morning and was scheduled for the second one Sunday. Saturday evening I was not feeling well so went into an urgent care center, and sure enough, my BP was up now. I went into labor and delivery on Sunday morning to get the second steroid shot and my doctor met me there to check me out. She said I defintitely had preeclampsia at that point so they would monitor me very closely. I woke up Monday morning and just did not feel right, so called my doctor who sent me back to labor and delivery. My doctor did more tests and said I would be staying in the hospital at least overnight but didn't think I would be having the babies that day. I was fine with that. My body had different plans, however, and thoughout the day my kidneys starting failing due to the preeclampsia, and my doc came in at about 7pm and said, "Guess what? We're going to have some babies right now." Needless to say, I freaked out, but everything went so fast and within an hour our two boys were born!
Baby A: Braden James (Brady) 3 lbs 4 oz, 15 in, 7:54pm
Baby B: Elijah Paul (Eli) 3 lbs 15 oz, 16 in, 7:55pm
Both are doing great, they are so small (born at 32 weeks 4 days as opposed to the full term 40 weeks) but are breathing room air through a tube and are being fed through a tube. Brady is having a harder time with eating but hopefully with time that will get better. They are in the NICU for at least 3 weeks probably. After the c-section I had to be put on magnesium sulfate for 24 hours- that stuff is from hell. I couldn't get out of bed for two days it make me so sick and out of it. I was a wreck because I had not seen the boys since they were born, and all I wanted to do was see them. I finally got to see them late Wednesday night, and that helped me feel so much better.
I am feeling much better now, not nearly 100% but each day is a little better. I will hopefully get discharged from the hospital today or tomorrow, although I will be back probably every day to visit the boys. It is going to be hard to not have them come home for several weeks. I will post more when I get the chance, and will try to figure out how to post pictures too.
Sorry I did not do personals, I'm sure you all understand and I can't wait to share more with all of you in the coming weeks! You ladies are great!

AAAHHHHHHHH!!!! ND, I am so screaming right now!! #thcongratulations#
I can't wait to see the pics of our first "Bus babies!" This is so exciting!!!I am so glad to hear that everyone is doing good. It will be SO, SO, hard not to be bringing those little angels home with you but all in good time so everyone is nice and healthy! I am so happy for you! Sorry I haven't been posting much gang. I have been having a horrible time with my knee and hip pain. I will have to go back to physical therapy in the hot pool to see if that will help. I also have to go to message therapy once a week, which sounds like it would be great but it hurts like a .....(fill in your own curse word here.) It is sort of like my hip muscle that attaches to the bone has clamped down and won't let go! Any movement is agony. It feels like the muscle is going to rip off of the bone because it is so tight! Well enough about that! Tiger, I am really thinking about you now that nd has shared her wonderful news. You'll be next! I can feel it. Give us the update on how things are going for you. I will try to get back on soon. I can't sit for very long or my hip causes me to much pain. The trick right now is not to stay in the same position long. Good luck with your dance stuff and all your other busy events fishy! I hope everyone is doing good. I miss this bus!

Hi again everyone! Hope you are all doing well! Map, so sorry you are feeling cruddy! That just sucks. Do you think that the warmer weather of summer coming will help at all? I hope that hot tub therapy helps quickly. As for me, everyone is doing really well! I was able to go home from the hospital on Saturday and everyday feel a little better from the c-section. It was hard to go home without the boys, but we know they are in great hands at the hospital and need to be there right now. Both boys are doing great! They are a week old today, and are as cute as ever! They are back up to there birth weight and hopefully will start gaining weight now. Both of them are completely breathing room air on their own without any assistance. Every day their feeding amount is increased and both of them take some of their feedings by bottle, although they still have the feeding tubes done their noses because it is still too tiring for them to take all their feedings by bottle. They are also off of the special blankets for jaundice. So overall, they are doing really well! The nurses say they are tiny but mighty! We visit them every day for a few hours, which is precious time for all of us. They will probably be in the hospital for another two weeks or so. We are using this time to get everything ready at home for them, since their arrival was so early and unexpected! If you are interested, here is a link to a website that my husband keeps up for our family and it has pictures and soon some video of the boys. Thank you again for all your support and encouragement! I'll be sure to let you know when the boys come home! forgiven4.tumblr.com/Tiger, I completely agree with maP! Hippie, Anny, when is school done! Man, I feel like you were just ending last school year! (Although I'm sure you don't feel that way, I'm sure it's been a long one for you!) Hi to Fishy, Idol, and everyone else! Does any one have any fun summer plans? Is anyone planning on going to the Idol tour? Any thoughts on the upcoming finale? I love this bus!

Congratulations Nd. Just checked out the pictures. Very cute tiny boys. I love the pic with the dollar for comparison. they're worth a lot more too. LOL. We are done with our first wave of craziness. We won't have to deal with any more for a couple of weeks and then we have a birthday and my 8th grader has allready been invited to 3 graduation parties and I'm sure more will surface.

ND!!! Congratulations and those pictures are great!!!! How exciting! Though I'm sure you were nervous when told it would happen so early, it seems like everything is working out well. I know yuu'll be so happy to have them home soon, but it is good in a sense that you'll have this extra time to get the house ready, too. My journey is hitting a slightly bumpy road (again!) They ran a test that shows that I might have bloodclots or fibroids or something, and the minor surgery needed to fix that can't happen till June, so the June IVF cycle for me is possibly out, but hopefully August will be in play! In the meantime, I've been keeping busy-- I've been meaning to get on here and drop a line now and again while Mr. T is out and can't ask what all I'm chatting online about but just haven't had much time! Hippie, I'm so glad that your finals are through! And that one test sounded like a killer! I know you'll do just fine, so no need to send good luck wishes for that-- so instead, how about for a good summer?! Map, I'm sorry to hear about the fibro acting up! And I agree-- masage therapy sounds great till you've had it! I had it for my broken leg years ago and recall nearly jumping off the table in pain, LOL! Though it felt batter afterwards. VT, you know we're still in the same boat as last year-- housecleaning and looking for a Skittle break! Fishy, glad to hear the craziness is dying down for you. Are you glad to see Kris in the finals this year? I admit, after reading your preference, I gave him a second look, and I think I like him! I haven't really watched much this season, just tuned in every few weeks for something to watch mostly (even though I'd sworn it off!). And I like Adam because he's different, but I kind of think of him like green olives to me. I really like green olives, but after about 6, I don't want anymore for a few hours. I may want some again later, but the saltiness-- can't take too much! And that's Adam! I'm going to watch tonight because I heard Jason is supposed to be on TV Guide channel. OHHH! I almost forgot! So this week I was in a nail salon waiting for my friend to finish up her pedicure and I picke dup the only magazine they had at that table-- the People from May 11. I flip through and see that they've mentioned JASON! It talked about his album coming out, but I was focused on one thing only... it read THIRD PLACE FINISHERNow, either they know something the fans didn't know (which is possible) or that writer (along with everyone else it seems) forgot all about Miss Oh Lo and put Jason in his "rightful" third place in our collective historical memories (the ones the cat sang)! Somewhere in some office in Florida, Miss Sy is making copies and thinking about going home to her producer fiance and watching the finale tonight along with the rest of us non-recording contract folks, LOL! I'm kidding, I have no idea what she's up to, and certainly don't blame her for being in the position she was in last year-- I know she had 0 to do with making the top 3 of last season. Well, I'm going to make some dinner-- take care everyone!! And #thcongratulations# again, ND!!!

Just watched the bit of JC on TV Guide channel-- he was great! He seemed very much more relaxed than he used to be (helped I think to not have 800 women screaming behind him-- that would make me a little uncomfortable too). He mentioned his album, said that he was about to begin recording, though I've seen/heard that he's already doing that.
the best part of course was the end-- they finish the interview but he's still in the shot, and he kind of drops the mic and turns to an off-camera person, does a little bop-dance, and tries to give it to them and mumble something, looking a little confused about where to go. It was adorkable! Also cute was his comment about singing and playing at the same time... "it can be difficult. On top of remembering words, you're trying to remember where your hands are supposed to go--" (turns to face camera and brings mic closer to his mouth) "--and that can get--uh--complicated." Very funny-- sounded like he was describing a first date, LOL!

Hi Gang, Just a fast stop in. I just watched the AI finale and I think the right two people were there.
Adam is a performer and has mad talent. He was fun to watch. He'll go far but not sure I would buy a CD. Maybe if he hooks up with Queen?
Kris in more of an artist, like Jason. I would buy his CD.
Nice to hear from you Tiger! Good luck with your surgery. I'll be thinking of you. I saw that THIRD PLACE FINISHER, about Jason, on the net some where not long ago, and I thought the same thing! The show didn't get it right. ;D Now it was in People magazine? Cool! nd, your babies are so cute!! Thanks for sharing your pics. I know that when they come home you won't have much time to be posting here! Enjoy as much time with them as possible as time passes quickly! Shout out to hippie, anny, fishy, VT and Idol!! (sorry if I forgot anyone!)

Hello everyone. Only a couple more weeks of school. The kids have definitely developed a case of spring fever and it is very contagious around here. I'll be glad when it is all over too. I was happy with the way idol finished this year. Kris was the right person in my opinion and he is very jason-like in many ways. Check out this site if you want to hear any of his original songs. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQzfyrfkrNw&feature=PlayList&p=02B8C5E81CCCBF0F&index=6&playnext=7&playnext_from=PLOr if you just want to check out a couple of his best idol performances just look up "falling slowly" or "Heartless" on youtube. The best part of his win is that despite the judges pimping their favorites and weighing their new rules in their favor, he still managed to break through to the top. Even as late as top three week they were trying to foist Danny Gokey upon us. Anyway my rant is over. hehehe.

Hey guys!
Another quick pop-in!
I got my final GPA in from school - not exactly as high as I wanted, but still good! I'm glad that's over with!
I started a new job about 2 weeks ago. It's been insane! I'm a Communications Assistant in the Legislative Assembly Office (we provide support for the govn't). So far, an MLA almost got kicked out of the assembly, they found asbestos on the floor above where I work, the conservatives are trying to pass a bill that's not being recieved well by the public so we've had protesters, and someone mailed an envelope of white powder to the office (thankfully it was coffee whitener and not anthrax, but we had a lockdown and hazmat suits come lol). All in 2 weeks!! I certainly can't say it's been boring!
Tiger - I noticed that third place thing too! I LOL'd! And I hope it's nothing super serious that they found, but you can overcome anything - you're a strong person!
ND - I still think your babies are adorable! I can't believe they're finally here!
fishy - I know!! It's FINALLY warming up here and I try to go outside as much as I can! Once school is done for the kidlets, hopefully things will calm down!

Hi Bus, Just passing through. Tiger, I have been thinking about you. Let us know how your surgery goes this month! I will be praying for you! Nd, how are those little angles? Are they home and you are adjusting to a whole new way of life? Give us an update when your busy life allows! Post new pics to! I know how fast those little one change! I was just thinking about how excited we all were last year at this time, waiting for Jason and the Idols to come to our town. Hippie not thinking she could go, then finding out she could. All the way to Chicago! I thought is was so great that our whole bus was fortunate enough to go to the shows with most of us meeting Jason! It seemed as though life stopped for a while as we rode buses around the Internet! How did we have so much time to spend on line? Is that why people in our lives thought we were off of our rockers? Ha Ha! Well, as those days are gone, I gotta run! I hope you are all doing well! Hippie and Annie, happy summer! (Hip, your new job sound really interesting by the way! Way to go girl!) Bus 36 still ROCKS!!

Hi Bus! Long time no post for me! Being a twin mom is busy work! IDOL! So great to hear from you! Did you get to go to a show this year? If so, which one and what did you think of it? Post when you can (and your computer lets you! Anny and Hippie, I hope you are enjoying your summer so far! Actually, I hope everyone is enjoying your summer so far! The boys have been home for about a week and a half now after spending 3 1/2 weeks in the NICU. The crazy thing is that two weeks after I delivered I developed blood clots in my lungs and leg and was in the ICU for a week! That was REALLY scary, I thought I might die (I am being totally serious, it was so scary), but now everything is ok. I am on blood thinners for at least the next six months, which kinda sucks but it is better than developing more clots. The boys are doing great, they are 5 weeks old today and Eli weighs 5 1/2 lbs, and Brady is just under 5lbs. They are good babies and we have had help from family so so far we have been getting enough sleep. Hippie, your new job sounds INSANE! Tiger, how are you? I am thinking about you! Map, how are you feeling these days? Does the warmer weather help you feel better? Hey Fishy! Do you have a busy schedule with the kids this summer? Are you going to the Idol concert this year? Is anyone else going to the Idol concert? I didn't really get into the show this year, so i won't be going, but am crossing my fingers that I'll be buying my front row ticket to a Jason concert sometime soon! Or at least a CD sometime this fall! Did I miss anyone? Sorry if I did, my mind is in about 10 different places these days! Feeding babies, changing babies, cuddling babies, comforting babies, loving babies, and of course, keeping up with Jason and Bus 36, the best bus around! -Sarah
