Ok I now have only 3 hairs left on my head, 2 on my chin and one on each leg, I'm a terrible sight! I have no problem importing the avi in, I have no problem making the layers and running the animation, BUT how in the HECK do I put that animation on a static background with more static pics, instead of making each pic a layer and adding it to the animation, because then when you save it as a gif file the banner flickers because the whole thing is an animation not just the import! Sob, sigh, grrrrrrrrrrrr HELP Castromaniac throw me a bone

Hi 4everbluejeanbaby, Here is your siggy. I hope you like it. Ok I'd love to request something. I would love a signature using the images attached. The colors I would love to match my avatar which is the puzzle given to Jason. So possibly blues or reds. If you can try and match colors so it goes together that would be great. I would like the quote "Your voice carries us over the rainbow and your journey inspires us to dream BIG!" I added the rainbow and peace sign if you can use it and it looks good. If not don't bother with using those. Thanks so much. Your work is awesome!

What version do you have? Some previous versions came with a program called Image Ready. In Photoshop go to File...Jump to...Image Ready. You can work with animations using Image Ready. thanks castromaniac...and i want an easier way too!! haha i don't have that version of photoshop either though...i'm guessing you need it to be able to import as frame animation??

When you copy your animation into the static background, you need to click on each animation frame and position each frame animation layer correctly, so that all the frames are in the same position. I wish I could explain it better.

I wish I could explain it better. It's OK castromaniac through trial and error and a little digging I found that once I import the avi and then just link all the frames together I can then pull them all at once to my static image and they are already in position. Then I just make frames from layers in animation, add the background and joila Not hard once ya do it a few million times...grin Thanks for the answers though

There are a lot of tutorials online you can try. Just try to practice as much as you can. It really isn't that hard once you get familiar with all the tools. I work with graphics and websites for a living. I've been using photoshop for about 8 years. What program are you using to create your animations? They look pretty cool.

Yes, I use photoshop CS3 extended. What I do is convert the videos to .avi and then I import them as a frame animation. Then, I copy the frames to an existing static image. Here is a tutorial on working with frame animations. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWrwlg7N36ISigh I knew you were going to say that ...grin. I was just hoping there was an easier way that is sooooooooo tedious! You must have the patience of Jobe! Ok, and thanks for the tutorial Randy I agree....I watched the youtube video 3 times and he was clicking so darned fast when I tried it, I must have been missing steps because the picture doesn't come out the same. Or maybe I just don't have the right Photoshop software for it. So I gave up.
