omg jason i cant explain how much im in love with u!! the time i went to c u on tour was when i was in my wheelchair and couldnt walk. when my (ex)bff cam up 2 me and said she met u i screamed so loud of saddness cuz where she saw u was somewher i couldnt fit cuz of my chair! man i hate that thing! but when u came out i started crying cuz i finally saw u!! ill remember it 4ever and even through my tough times in the wheelchair and not being able to walk, wachtin u on idol and having pictures always cheered me up! the one thing i want in my life is to meet you!! id probably pass out considering i did when u were on stage and i was waaaay back. u waved to me! do u remember? u waved 2 the left side of the audience with your right hand when you were singing crazy-yes i remember-every bit of it-it was the best day of my life!! :]
omg, guess what i got for xmas?? EVERYTHING off of this sites store (yep everything) plus a custom necklace with u on it, a lifesize cutout of u (my mom made it but shes artsie like that so it looks awesome) and like a lot of other stuff!
i LOVE this site!! (and you) you are so awesome i wish best of luck with everything. i know a lot of people probably say this, but please believe it, i am and always will be your #1 fan <3

Jason, if you were to visit my Myspace, you would see that I love the Lord, my children and their children and that I have adopted the Castro family!! I even have your magnet in the middle of my refrigerator picture gallery. Since I'm obviously a grandma, my family doesn't know what to make of my attachment to you and your music and your family. but they know they have a new sibling on the fridge..you all are just so embracing of your fans, we fans can't help but to be bonded to you all. I've made real friends via the dreadheads which is an amazing experience, but my top experience was getting to talk to you in KC (even tho you were tired, sick and medicated) about John Piper and the book Don't Waste Your Life. You said you wanted to get a hold of more of his stuff and needed to read that one again...that about all I remember....if I didnt have pictures, I wouldn't believe I actually talked to you. Can you believe you've become a person that causes the star-struck phenomenon?? Praying for your health and wisdom as you pursue the path before you!!

I just wanted to let you know how much your song, Shine Your Light has meant to me. I’ll give you a brief explanation of my testimony. Like you, I grew up in a Christian home, and accepted Christ at a very young age. I really did mean it and felt it in my heart at the time. I thought I had a great relationship with God, but looking back, I really took Him for granted. I knew He was there, and I prayed, but the prayers weren’t really heartfelt. I was just going through the motions, though I didn’t even realize it at the time. My senior year of college, I went through a really dark time in my life. I should have used that time to draw closer to the Lord, and I did for a while. However, soon I just retreated into myself and didn’t want to let anyone in, including God. I preferred to wallow in my own self pity and remain miserable, rather than allow God to pull me out of it. Finally, I hit rock bottom and realized that the only way out was God. He pulled me back on my feet. You would think this is where my story would end; that I would say, “And then my life was forever changed.” Unfortunately that was not the case. I went right back to the same old me. I was going through the motions again. Life wasn’t bad. It was certainly better than before, and I was relying on faith for practical things. I thought I was doing exactly what I needed to do.
I could get all gooey here and say, “Then you changed my life forever!” However, I know that’s not true. Everything did begin to change when you appeared on American Idol, but it wasn’t you. It was God working through you. I saw something different that day, which I later learned was the light of God shining through you. I started joining various American Idol forums to chat with other fans about what was happening on the show. Something miraculous began to happen. A beautiful community of Christian women formed, and started prayer threads. We pray for and support one another through whatever was going on in our personal lives. We are “prayer warriors” for you and your family, praying for you along every step of your journey. Now I lead a Bible study on JCM, which is something I never thought I would do. God is showing me what a relationship with Him is really supposed to look like, and my life will never be the same. It is like I was asleep all those years without knowing it, and now I am wide awake!
Obviously, I’ll never “get it.” None of us will, this side of Heaven. However, I’m growing to know God more and more each day. He has a greater purpose for me, though I don’t know what it is yet. Knowing this, and working through this, I recently became restless. Whatever “it” was that I was waiting for Him to show me, I wanted to know it now! I felt like I wasn’t doing enough. I had heard your song, Shine Your Light, before. It inspired me the first time I heard it, but no to the extent that it now has. I’ve been working a lot of things out in my mind and praying about a lot of things. Yesterday, I heard Shine Your Light again and it brought me to tears. I realized that I am doing God’s work, even now. Whatever I can do to serve the Lord makes a big difference. One person can make change. This has refreshed and renewed my spirit once again, and I am now looking at each day differently. God is using you and your gifts in such beautiful ways. I just wanted to let you know how He is using you in my life. I’m sure I am one of many. You and your family are in my constant prayers. You are such a blessing to us all. Thank you for following God’s calling, and stepping out in faith.

;)hello jason, im a new member, its nice that i finally found your website, coz i really want to get in touch with you since the first time i watch you on american idol last season, im not use to rent internet before because i dont have something to search, but after this i guess i will be a ragular fun of internet, i really,really love your music and you know what i also love to sing but i havent found a right time to explore it coz im a shy tipe girl and i only sing by my self but my friends use to say i sound good, maybe? well that's all for now and i wish to see more of you, you know what i like your spirit, keep it up, your a great person, and i can say that if you want to get into film im 100% sure that you can do it and im gonna support you all the way, you know what there is someone that i can see to you whenever i watch your latenight videos, i saw johnny deep in you really, coz both of you are really funny guy and a good persons, so enjoy the day and hope you read this, take care always and GOD BLESS YOU and your FAMILY. |

Hi Jason,
I met you at the premier in Santa Barbara. It was really great meeting you and you even said hello to my son's on my cell phone - two different times LOl because each one called me at different times and wanted to say hello. What is crazy is I've wanted to meet you so bad and when I finally did I didn't know what to say to you. I could only watch and get up the nerve a couple times to speak up. There was so much I wanted to say about how your music has effected me in so many ways. I've never felt this way about an artist before, someone that grabs you as you do. Actually I'm not sure why I'm posting this, I guess in hopes that you will read these posts someday. I've noticed that you don't post on here, your probably very busy and don't have the time. But someday you might just read these and post responses (one could hope). Well take care Jason I hope you will be playing again in CA perferably in OC or LA and I can come and see you again. These Santa Barbara trip has meant so much to me and I will remember it always.
