Unfortunatly, most of us would not have known about this video, or where to find it, if it had not been posted here or on his other fansites. My bookmark takes me to the chat area, I usually do not see the front page unless I hear of a reason to go there. I don't think anyone meant any harm by it. From what I have read, it has touched many. I was going to send it to some of my friends to introduce them to Jason. Maybe I shouldn't? I don't know how to download it from the original site. I did use youtube to e-mail it to myself.  |

It's all ok, sierrach...however you want to share it. Can you just send the link from I Am Second to your friends? I think it's great to be able to see the rest of the site and to read the entire interview that you'll find after the video stops on I Am Second. I just want to be clear on what my issue was with the youtube being posted here.
Obviously, the message of the video is important to both Jason and to the producers of the video series, and they want it to be seen by as many people as possible. I don't begrudge anyone the opportunity to see the video and it's not the sharing of the video via youtube that compelled me to say anything about it.
What compelled me to say something is that the introduction to the video here on Jason's official forum didn't come via a link to the originating site and that permission to post the video on another media wasn't obtained beforehand. I think everyone had good intentions, but for something this meaningful, I felt I Am Second deserved some consideration and respect from us.
The video is linked on the front of this site. It's understood that most come directly here to the forum instead of checking there, but the link was there and available to be copied and posted in here. The link was also posted on the front page of Castrocopia hours earlier and possibly other places as well. The post that started this thread was a youtube of the video, not a link to the site containing the video followed by posts from anyone stating that they couldn't access the video.

Thanks to Winnie for getting their okay and to you, Hanna, for pasting it here. First of all I have to apologize as I am really new at this. I have no intentions to infringe or do something illegal. In the first place I was just responding to a request at TDH about not being able to view the video and if someone could put it up on You Tube. Without thinking I did just that. So this morning I read the responses and the concerns and I became scared as of course the intent was not to infringe or steal but rather to share....Therefore the e-mail to I am Second and Drew, from this kind organization, as you can see gave me the permission. I am sorry if this caused a commotion. I really did not intend for it to be like this. It makes my heart ache that because I did not follow the right protocol these type of concerns surfaced and possibly get some people in trouble. It is my own doing and my sheer incompetence that caused it. Let me know what I have to do to make it right if any. I was hoping that a nice heartfelt discussion about the video and Jason could come out of this. Not this, but I can't change anything now. I can only apologize. |

This video has stayed with me all day and will for a long long time. I've already shared the link from Castrocopia will my loved ones....encouraging them to pass it on. I've enjoyed reading everyone's thoughts. Today was such a gift so thanks to everyone! ok off I go to play again...sigh!!!

Wow...just wow. This is why I do what I can to support Jason. It's not JUST about the music (thought that is fantastic and very important). It's about who he is as a person and WHY he does what he does. That light that everyone sees when he performs? That kindness in his spirit that he shares with everyone who comes in contact with him? That only comes from one place and that is Jesus Christ. Amen!!! I could not have said it better myself! This video made me cry. This is why I support Jason Castro! This video says it all I am so glad I got to see it! Wow is right Jason Castro you are a gift from God and I am proud to be your fan!!! |

I want to be like Jason when I grow up. It's funny that he mentions having something, let's call it a light, that some people don't recognize but they just know there's something. And that his love for Christ is what it is. I knew there was something there when I first heard him perform, and when a quick trip to youtube confirmed he was a Christian ("I'm Not Who I Was" and "Clumsy"), I shrugged and went, "I knew it." That's exactly how I felt about him. I knew when I saw him on AI that he had something!! He shines bright!! |

Is there a way we can embed this video on our web sites so visitors will be directed to the I Am Second site? I know we can put the link to I Am Second, but I'm afraid it will get lost amidst all the other Jason widgets on our MySpace, Facebook, etc.

Thank you Castromaniac. I am now going to Myspace to post this on my page. I had e-mailed the link to my friends who don't "get" Jason in the hopes that maybe they will get an understanding of why I "get" him and that there is so much more to him than the "dreads."
I say it every day, Jason never ceases to "amaze" me. I feel like we are truly blessed through all of this. I am so proud to be a fan of Jason's.

I just saw it. It made me what to cry... He such good role-model, and I too am proud to be a fan. I knew there was something different about him the first time I saw him on the Top 24 EDIT: The other day I read a Bible verse, and something that Jason said reminded me of that verse. I don't know exactly what he sadi, but the Bible verse is: "...your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over." (1 Peter 3:16) |

Did you all know that there's MORE VIDEO OF JASON up on that site now? After the initial video, click on "More Jason Castro" ~ then click on "Watch more of my videos".
There are FIVE additional video segments. After one ends, just click on one of the pictures at the bottom of the page to go to the next. HE SINGS HALLELUJAH and SOTR... Beautiful videography and great audio of both. Be sure to click "Next" for the last video segment. It's short, but "cool".
