SO happy for Jason. I've been writing about him from the beginning (on Castrofics) trying to explain his appeal, as if it wasn't apparent! But many didn't get him and bashed him even. Now he's splashing all over the music world news!! The wave has started. His tour will be soldout, no doubt. I hope he really owns the stage and knows that, as poet Irving Layton (Leonard Cohen's mentor) once said, referring to the audience, "Those people out there, they are yours; they belong to you!" I hope Jason knows that fact in his heart--the love the fans feel for him--and really lets loose on that stage and shines his light for the whole world to see. As dark as Michael Jackson was, Jason is his equivalent in light--a troubadour for these times when so many need the illumination he casts through his talent, beauty and faith.
