I really enjoyed your pictures. It looked like everyone had loads of fun even flat Jason!!! I will get to see Jason again in Tulsa. I went to the Kansas City concert and it was awsome!!! I didn't get to stalk the buses because I was with my husband but I will be with friends at Tulsa. I sure hope that I get to meet Jason and some of the other idols!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, here's my story
Yesterday was the best day of my life! I arrived at the busses around noon. I met Linda (purrlycat1), Kali, Altrock4u, Gloria, and CathyAnne. There were a bunch of others but i don't know their names, which makes me feel bad since one of them was a big help to me with getting my picture with Jason. The busses arrived around 1:45 and Jason was the first we saw. The boy's bus pulled in and we saw dreads in one of the windows!
One by one the idols got off the bus. We all screamed the second we saw Jason's white shoes step off that bus. He immediately went to the end of the line to start meeting fans. He had press, so he was in a hurry! When he got to our area, he went by so fast before I even had my chance to meet him. So another Dreadhead grabbed me by the hand and we ran to catch Jason. I asked Jason to take a picture with me. He tried to take my camera to take the picture but his hands were full of gifts so I took it. The first one didn't come out, and even though he was in a hurry, he said "let's try again" and the second one came out. I went to the end of the line so I could try and have Jason autograph my sign, but every time I tried to hand it to him, someone hit it away. Then he had to leave to get to press.
I went back to where all of us Dreadheads had gathered. Most of them had left to go home or go to lunch. My sister and I hung out and chatted with Linda (purrlycat1). Around 4:00 my sister looked like she was going to pass out. It was very hot. So I had to leave and take her for supper so she could cool down and eat.
We got into the venue around 5:30. There were people there taking pictures of everyone. These pictures were later shown on the big screen before the show. While we were waiting for them to let us in and check our tickets, I met Evelyn (evecast).
The show was amazing!! When Jason came on I was so excited. I had 4th row seats and he was literally like 10 feet away from me. During his last song, the people next to me (Cook fans) let me go by them and I stood right up against the stage! At one point during his guitar solo, Jason looked RIGHT down at me and smiled. I immediately thought of those Jonas Brothers lyrics "When you look me in the eyes, I catch a glimpse of Heaven".
Right in the middle of Cook's set my camera died, so I didn't get any pictures of the final group performance
but it was amazing! Mavid sprayed soda everywhere so Jason had to run away and cover the dreads, it was so cute lol. Towards the end, Jason saw my sign. He was looking around, and he did sort of a double take when my sign caught his eye. He read it, then smiled and waved at me! My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest! When he was walking off stage I screamed "JASONNNNNNNNNNNN". I know he heard me, because he turned back again and looked in my direction!
After the show I went back to the busses hoping to meet Jason again and have him autograph my poster, especially after he noticed it and obviously liked it during that last performance. But before he came out, my mom's friend (a.k.a Cranky Cook Fan), showed up and said she had to get up early so we had to leave. Evelyn (evecast) offered to take my sign and have Jason sign it for me. So I left it with her and we exchanged phone numbers, and I left.
I got home around 11:15. Evelyn called me around 11:45 to tell me that she told Jason it was my sign and that I had to leave, and she told me Jason said "This is an awesome sign" and he signed it! So I have to get on the phone with Evelyn and make plans to meet up with her some time soon to get my sign back ;D
So like I said before, yesterday was the BEST day of my life, and Jason is TOTALLY worth the sunburn and terrible headache I got!! And when he is off on his own tour, I will do it all over again!
I apologize if this story is too long!

Oh and something I forgot to add:
I don't know how, but I turned into someone completely different than I usually am yesterday. I am usually the extremely shy, self conscious, girl that doesn't talk much. Yesterday I felt so comfortable with everyone and I was way more chatty than I thought I would be. Then at the concert I didn't care what people thought about me at all, I was dancing and screaming and yelling. Now that I think back, im like wow was that really me, haha :-D

Thanks for the great recaps, girls. So glad you got your cool sign signed by Jason, Amanda. Can anyone explain the design on Jason's t-shirt? I can't make it out from the pictures, which are awesome, BTW.

Hey guys, the concert was great. I arrived at the DD Center with a migrain that I thought would put me completely out. I was so upset that I would miss the concert but I was able to bring it down to a dull roar. I refused to let my kids miss Jason. It was the best decision I ever made. My seats were next to the stage so my kids got to run up and shake hands with the idols each time they came near. All of the idols were great. We got the the busses a little late but were able to get close enough to meet the idols in the afternoon. The first one out was Kristy, she was really great, then came along Jason. I was able to get a picture of my kids with him and he was very patient with me because my camera had the telephoto lens on it so I had trouble getting close up pictures so I had to keep stepping back, Jason looks at my son Robbie and laughs because he sees I'm having trouble getting my camera to take the picture. He was so patient. He laughs again and says to my son "Gotta love your mom" then he takes a look at my son and they are wearing the same pants and shoes and say "Nice outfit" I have to admit that he did seem a little tired but considering everything all the idols have been doing they have every right to be tired. Jason was very polite and did everything he could for each fan with the little time he had before the meet and greet. Carley came out and my son Chris went crazy, he truely believes that she will marry him some day, haha he's only 12, She was also really great and I got a great picture with them together.
Now at the concert, our seats like I said were next to the stage, I got some really great pictures of all the idols exscept Rameile, Someone was walking down the stairs and spilled a drink all over my daughter, she cried and was upset so by the time I got her settled and dried Rameile was done with her act. As soon as Jason came on she was no longer sad and dancing around and singing. She cracked me right up. The show was great and everyone there did a great job.
We were able to see the idols after the concert and Jason came by and signed my shirt and my son Michael's shirt, I was also able to help out Amanda and got Jason to sign her poster that she had made. I told him that she had to leave and I promised her that I would ask Jason to sign it if he had come out again. Jason was really nice, I felt a little bad about asking him to sign so much stuff, I just kept thanking him for everything he was doing. I got some really awsome shots so Betsy I'll be sending them your way after I get them developed.
Here is something that was unexpected, my oldest son Robbie is a Captain and the goalie on his High School hockey team, they had Captains practice last night and he had to leave the concert before Jason could go on. If anyone has any video of Jason last night I would love it if you could please post it so my son could see the show. He was really upset that he had to leave and was so very excited that he was able to meet Jason. Jason has made such a positive impact on him and for that I will always be grateful toward Jason.

Does anyone have a link for a video of the final group performance? My camera died right before it and I didn't get any pictures
