I'm still thinking about the issue with the videos. The DVDs are pretty expensive, so I can't ask you all to buy them. They do have the audio version on iTunes for $3.99 each session, which would total $40....plus the cost of the book. Thoughts?

At the VERY least, I will get the videos (or audio) and write synopses for each one to share at Bible study discussions.

Hey Kendra I'd hate to see you have to give more money!! Maybe we can all chip in and help you!! It may be hard for everyone to give $40 but I think most of us can give a few and it'll add up! We can each mail you a few bucks or something! Wrapped in paper of course!!!  |

Oh...You guys don't have to do that! I mean, the best I can do is write a synopsis for you, because it's not like I can share them with you. I'd hate for you to be spending money for me to watch them. I don't know...more prayer!

Keah...I've been watching them already...don't know how that would help except I have my viewer pages filled in!! and notes written hither and yon on those pages!! I can alway borrow them again as we're going thru the study...but as you said, no way to share them on here!! Maybe you and I can glean what we can from the videos and team share what she says on them....

Thanks to our dear friend Joan (who will be joining us!), here is a link where you can buy the videos individually. It's $1 more per session than the audio, but you'd have the video. Also, you buy them individually, so if you decide not to get them all, you don't have to. Again, I know this will add up in cost, so I will be writing a synopsis for each discussion. The purchase of the video/audio sessions is NOT required to participate. Frankly, the purchase of the book isn't required either! Thanks for all the information Kendra. I am happy to report that my book arrived today in the mail from Amazon and I'm set. Going to take a more comprehensive look at it after dinner.
I'm so excited and happy to be a part of the bible study and really appreciate all you do and have done to get everything rollin'

Hi Kendra...I guess I've been kinda dragging my feet here....I had already purchased the Beth Moore "Believing God" Book and workbook for our 2nd study, the same time I bought the Experiencing God Study. I wasn't aware of the need for videos or audio's in order to do that Study, until after I had finished reading the book and went to start the study.
After you had decided not to do that book and do Esther, instead, I was just going to do it, on my own, over our break before the next online study began. I wanted to keep up on the commitment to do it so I wouldn't get out of the habit. Then, I learned that our new study is going to need the DVD's as well...I haven't purchased the Esther Study book yet, because I was waiting to see if there was an alternative to doing the study without the DVDs since I am on a very tight budget right now and if we have to have them, then I would need to bow out of this particular study. However, after rereading this thread it appears I can still participate using the workbook only, so I will go ahead and order the member's book above.

You can absolutely still participate! I'm not going to require anyone to buy anything! Like I said, it would help if you at least had the book, but this is open to EVERYONE. I'm going to do the best I can to get everything you need from the videos to you. Also, we may still do Believing God at some point. I just really felt God calling me to choose Esther this time. I've learned not to argue! |

Kendra...I ordered my book and it should come sometime next week. I agree that we should not argue with God! I do hope there will be a time to do the other study as well. I read her book only and it was excellent, but haven't done the study because I didn't have the DVD's. I will just wait until God tells you its time to do it and then I will try to get the DVDs too and we can all do it together!

That's a great idea, Sue! God didn't put that book in the running for no reason. I'm sure we'll do it at some point!
By the way, I'm getting the DVD's. Everyone say a HUGE prayer of thanks and praise for Beth (Beth from the forums, not Beth Moore. lol). She is a gift from God.

Keah, I have access to the dvds as I'm already midway into this book with a group here....we can share what we get from them on here if there's something that wasn't in the book. I know we already agreed to do that...just restating....I've been repeating myself for a few years now!!
