Every other site I've been frequenting has one of these threads. I figure this one should too. I think it's important that we continue to keep Jason in our prayers - especially now that things have slowed down a little. Dear Father, I thank you for Jason and his willingness to sacrifice his privacy and even sometimes his safety for You and Your higher will. We thank you that his witness through these times has become even greater. Continue to use him as a vessel of Your love and joy. Strengthen him in body, heart, soul and emotions. Come be his restoration and his joy. Work Your will in him. Help him to learn and accept what You are teaching him. Sing through him, let him be a blessing wherever he goes. As he blesses others, in turn give him a double portion of Your favor and protection. Amen.

Interesting that you should post this. I had an experience the other day in prayer. I originally just emailed it to Kim, but I feel like I should share it here.
I was sitting at my desk working. God very clearly said to me, "Pray for Jason." I said, "I do pray for Jason." He said, "Pray for Jason." There was a sense of urgency with it, not just like "Hey...you should pray for Jason sometime." Anyway, I texted Lisa and Nicole and asked them to pray too. For at least an hour, every time I started thinking or praying about something else, I heard "Pray for Jason." So I did...like I've never prayed for him before. Nothing quite like this has ever happened to me, especially for someone I don't know, but it was amazing.

Thank God for your obedience, Kendra! I'm always running into people with this same experience. There are a bunch of us floating around who regularly get those kinds of messages too. Next time, would you email or text me too? I'd love to pray!

I am praying that God will put a hedge around Jason, keep him safe, and guide all his decisions.

Two Sundays ago, I was sitting in church and the LORD impressed upon me to pray for Jason! FERVENTLY...which I did for 2 days.
May the LORD guide Jason's steps. May he illuminate the WAY. May Jason only hear the voice of the LORD and not worry about competing voices. May he continue to be a servant to the LORD and keep listening to the one who holds his life in HIS HANDS!

That is amazing, Beth. That would have actually taken you up to the day before this happened to me.

It sounds to me like God is arranging prayer coverage. I just wanted to mention too that if we are getting strong leadings to pray for Jason (or for anything), it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong. It could be for our obedience or for any number of things. God will tell us what, if anything, that we need to know. Otherwise, we stay obedient and pray.

Praying for Jason and his family to have the direction, courage and strength needed to follow the journey that the good Lord has prepared for each of them. I too, am thankful for the blessings that Jason has shared with us...his music, his person, his family...his love of Lord. I pray that God continues to keep Jason and his family wrapped warmly in His loving and protective arms. Amen.

adding my two cents absolutely in agreement with you girls about praying for Jason and the Lord putting it on our hearts The Lord speaking to hearts of his children to pray for Jason is just like our God. Jason probably needed more at that particular time .. and here I am preaching to the choir LOL Love you girls.. my sisters .. warriors...brides... HUGS

I'm so glad this thread is here. I was thinking about this just a couple of days ago, I just got a thought to pray for Jason and his family.
I'm happy that there are prayer warriors among us!
God Bless you all!

I felt called again yesterday to pray for Jason, so I did. I texted Lisa, Nicole, and Anne and they prayed along with me! I know Jason is in LA, so I'm sure there are big things going on!

Wow Jason is blessed to have such prayer warriors around him. I am so glad he has a relationship with God. Being in the music business brings fame, money, etc. Many temptations and probably lonliness. I pray he stays close to God and listens to his direction.

Being in the music business brings fame, money, etc. Many temptations and probably lonliness. I pray he stays close to God and listens to his direction. You know, I've been at this prayer warrior thing for a while. I've had many burdens to pray for people - ones I know and ones I don't - and I've never seen anything like it. In meeting a lot of you on different forums, I've found that God has placed a profound urge on many people to pray for Jason. God has a specific plan for him and it's very important to Him that it be carried out. That's why He's called so many of us - people who know how to really pray and who take it seriously. So if any of you are led to pray for him, please do. You're not alone!

Dear Lord, please be with Jason right now. Be in his heart and his mind. You know him perfectly. Give him exactly what he needs today. Let Your word and Your Spirit speak to him in every area where he has a need. Help him to know Your heart and Your will for every aspect of his life. Give him direction. Give him strength. Give him the clarity of plan and purpose that he needs to make the decisions that are before him. We know You have a great plan for Jason. We thank You for that and ask that You will protect and enact that plan in Your perfect timing. Thank You for answering our prayers. Amen.

As I was reading this thread I was reminded of these scriptures from Exodus 17... 11And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. 12But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat thereon. And Aaron and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.I get those prompts to pray for Jason too. So just lettin' ya know I'm with ya in prayer for Jason. He has a big job and can't do it alone. Also I have a story to share. About a month ago I was driving to Dallas to meet my son at the airport. Dallas is about 4 hours from home. But because of the last minute ticket purchase it was easier and less expensive for him to fly to Dallas. My sister was driving and we were talking when I had an urgent prompt to pray for my son. I looked at the clock and checked his flight schedule and saw that it was one minute before his departure time from Denver to Dallas. Well, I immediately began praying. I didn't even say anything to my sis but because of the abrubt halt in our conversation I knew she knew to pray too. However because of the sense of urgency to pray and because it regarded my own son, I started to imagine all the things that could go wrong on that flight. All the while God saying "Don't worry, just pray" But it's hard sometimes to not worry when it has to do with your own son. So then I was worried my worry was interfering with my prayer. (Ha Ha God help me!) Anyway, a little while later my sis stopped at a truck stop to use the restroom. We got out of the car and she went in but I heard these massive screaming loud birds. I actually thought it was a recording at first. But when I looked I saw what seemed like thousands of black birds landing in the trees on the other side of the parking lot. I had to go check it out. When I did I noticed a little buiding tucked off beside the truck stop that said "Traveling Ministry". The lights were on inside and there were a few people in there talking. I headed back to the car at first but God was telling me to go ask them for prayer. I didn't want to just barge in on their bible discussion but I did finally. It was good because the remainder of the trip I had a little more peace and faith knowing that I had more help in the spirit. So we get to the airport a little late. His flight was there and the people that were on his flight were at the baggage claim. So that was good news. The plane made it but I couldn't find my son! I freaked! And then for some crazy reason everyone I asked about my son couldn't speak english. Ha Ha But then I noticed him standing there with my sis who had found him first. He had just gone to the bathroom. #whew# #happy036# Everything's all good right? You just read that big ole long story to find out nothing happened. #giggle# So now I'm wondering why such an urgent prompt to pray. My son said that he almost missed his flight from Denver and was a little paniky but that would have occurred prior to my prompt to pray. Well, I still don't know but I know God don't ask us to pray for nothing. On the ride home I was reminded of all the other times I'd been prompted to pray for someone and found out later about a catastrophe that almost happened but didn't. And I thought of how we love to see miracles happen but forget that there are amazing miracles happening all the time that we never get to see because of our prayers. So I thank God for the miracles we DON'T get to see. And I'm thankful that I'm not here alone. That I can get REAL help from people I've never met. And that I can give REAL help to people I've never met. AND I'm thankful that God is my Father and y'all are brothers and sisters!

Wow...thank you for sharing that story. That's amazing. It's true! We don't know why we have to pray a lot of times, because the thing that we prayed for didn't happen BECAUSE we prayed! If that makes sense...
Oh gosh...now I sound like my friend who says, "If that makes sense..." all the time! lol

I happend upon this thread and I think it is wonderful that so many of us are praying for Jason, I pray daily and every night before I go to sleep that God will keep his angels and his hedge around Jason, Jason is new at this music business and if he is not careful he could be surrounded by people that are not truly there for him and I always ask God to close Jason's ears to anything that is not of God's will for him and keep good postive people around him and I always pray for his family for God to keep them safe and I always pray for Mandy too, this has to be overwhelming for her too, she is sharing Jason with the whole world and I always include her in my prayers, Jason is such a gift from God to us and I truly believe that God has great plans for him, Jason was always quick to let everyone know his faith in our Lord and he even said if it were not for his Father in Heaven none of this would have happened .I am so proud to support such a wonderful young man. I am so happy to hear that so many are praying for him.He is always in my prayers.
